Unlike fellow couple Steph and Tyson, Gia and Scott actually started out on strong terms. The pair immediately hit it off, and Scott didn’t hesitate when Gia revealed she has a daughter. Early on, they were keen to present themselves as one of the strongest couples in the experiment, with Scott consistently supporting his wife through her clashes with fellow brides like Bec and Alissa. For their one-month anniversary, they even marked the occasion with matching tattoos.
However, things shifted quickly over a series of separate incidents. First, Gia was hurt after watching Scott’s audition video, where he had initially suggested he didn’t want to be matched with someone who already had children. Scott later reassured her that his feelings had changed entirely since meeting her and learning about her daughter.
Tension escalated further when Gia discovered intimate photos of Scott’s ex-girlfriend on his phone, followed by additional strain during their visits home.
By the final dinner party, the relationship had fully unravelled. Scott broke down in tears and stormed out, throwing his wedding ring on the table as the pair confirmed their marriage was over for good. The emotional moment came after Scott watched Gia flirt with her alternative match James.
Ultimately, there were no final vows for Gia and Scott, and the pair have not reconciled since filming.

Gia has since revealed her new relationship with reality TV star Alan Wallace, and has been sharing plenty of Instagram posts featuring the pair together. She has described herself as being in a new “love story” — but what about Scott?.
Scott first hinted that he was also seeing someone new during a radio interview in April, telling Star 104.5’s Gina & Matty: “I’m sort of seeing someone. Someone I already knew before… we were friends and it’s turned into something,” he explained at the time.

Who is MAFS star Scott's new girlfriend?
