Controversial TV dating experiment Married At First Sight Australia has just aired its latest dinner party showdown, which leads us to question: are Gia and Scott from the 2026 MAFS series still together?
Gia has already been dubbed one of the “wildest” brides in MAFS history. She has appeared in music videos and has been pictured with Hugh Hefner outside the Playboy Mansion. After being matched with property expert Scott, things got even more awkward when Gia's uncle revealed that she had a daughter, a fact that she was hoping to tell Scott later in their relationship.
Everything you need to know about this series' jungle.

Scott responded well, saying he had dated women with children before. Saying that, the couple had an explosive row during filming after Gia found pictures of an ex-girlfriend on Scott's phone. "I've got nothing to hide. I am not going to remove photos from my phone of an ex, when there is nothing there, I am just not going to do it," he told producers.
He has gone on to blame Gia for the trouble between them. “When I go in I give them my world. I would sit where she was getting her makeup done and sit there until she was finished. I would take her away every weekend. I never let her pay for a cent. I would nurture her,” he said.
“And she would just go off at me for nothing and I would say okay. I just copped so much s***. And I just tried so hard to make it work because I can see the good in everyone. No matter how bad she could be I just tried.”
Here's what we know about whether MAFS stars Gia and Scott are still going strong.
According to recent posts on social media, the likelihood is decidedly not. Over the Easter weekend, Gia went Instagram official with new boyfriend Alan Wallace, sharing one video that was captioned “hard launch” and another reading “No revenge. I got the love story of my dreams”.
In a recent interview, Scott opened up about how he feels after his final speech to Gia at the MAFS dinner party, after which he slammed his wedding band down on the table and walked out of the room and the experiment.
“Honestly, watching it back, I don’t regret anything. I’ve learned a lot. I wish I woke up a lot earlier knowing someone could have been manipulating me…. I wish I was more self-aware about it because I was so into it. And then watching that very last episode last night I was just like, ‘Wow.’ I feel like that just made me feel like she’d lied to me the whole time.”
“Gia pretty much gave me an ultimatum, said 'If you don't delete them then I am out'. She pretty much just walked out. I don't know what to do, it is s***.” Gia later clarified in an interview that the reason she was so angry at finding the photos was that Scott's ex was wearing only lingerie in them. Ouch.
Before walking out of the dinner party, he read out a letter he had written about what had happened between himself and Gia to his remaining castmates. "I came into this experiment with the highest hopes of finding someone that I would have something real with," he read.
"I was so excited about the person I would be meeting and what our relationship would become, knowing I'd be committing myself wholeheartedly."
"I've felt throughout this experience I've tried to be the best man I can be for Gia," he said. "I've cared deeply for her during our time together and naturally my feelings were forming for her and our relationship.
"Sadly, though, this was never enough to appease Gia. I've been met with daily criticisms, belittling comments and threats of being left single."
"I've come to realise though that no matter what I do or say it will never change who Gia is. At this point enough has been done and said to let me and everyone else know who Gia is and what she stands for," he said. "Morally, we aren't aligned. We hold different values of what a relationship should be. I can't be with a woman who, behind my back, proclaims to the first guy, 'I can't be with a guy who doesn't have money and will pay for everything'.
"I'm not sure what you're looking for Gia, but I can tell you're not the one for me. We are a different calibre of people."
Women have become equal players in their downfall.

It is safe to say shots have been fired from both camps in interviews and on social media. "You never cared when we broke up," Gia posted about Scott on social media. "You never cared at all. You literally ghosted me after the show because there were no more cameras, so why don't you shut up? And I would be saying more, but number one, I'm cut off from publicity, number two, I actually am in love and in the best relationship I've ever been in, in my life."
Scott also said in an interview with Australian publication Nine.com.au that Gia criticised him during Homestays week when she came to visit. "She pointed out a lot more [problems] when the cameras weren't there," he said. “When someone tries to degrade you like that, it makes you feel pretty s**t to be honest.”
