Is it just me or is Married At First Sight Australia the best version of the show? I don't know what it is about the Aussie version — maybe it's the heat messing with everyone's better judgment? — but the drama levels just seem to get amped up to 11 when the show goes Down Under.
Who can forget moments like Sam and Ines' scandalous betrayal? Or Martha pouring wine on Cyrell? Every episode brings delicious moments like these in the Australian MAFS — so if you're a fan, too, you'll be very happy to hear that the show is returning once again. Find out all of the juicy details about the new line-up of MAFS stars below…

Every season comes with a few mature members of the cast, and Rebecca seems to be a stand-out character, as reports have described her as “the wildest bride yet”. What that means, we'll have to wait and find out, but a source has shared that she was “overheard yelling on her balcony in between takes” and “she's got this larger-than-life energy and doesn't tone herself down for anyone”. Sounds like she's going to bring a large dose of drama to this season.
While her age hasn't been mentioned in reports shared online, she has been a businesswoman for over 20 years, so we assume she might be in her 40s. According to LinkedIn, Rebecca is a ‘results-driven Operations Manager with 20+ years of extensive leasing management, business development and key account management experience’.
Outdoorsy, Melbourne-based farmer Luke is already a popular character online, thanks to his down-to-earth social content and not terrible physique. Plus, he loves dogs — he's ticking boxes left, right and centre.
Interestingly, he's already followed on Insta by MAFS UK bride, Polly Sellman. Now, that would be a crossover for the ages. It's hard to tell how old Luke is, but he looks to us to be in his mid to late 20s. Will he be matched with a girl who loves hiking and animals — or someone more high maintenance who hates the outdoors? We're willing to bet it'll be the latter.
Blonde bombshell Alissa is both a nurse and an influencer, and boasts more than 260K followers on TikTok.
According to reports online, her recent split was pretty public, so we're interested to see what happens on MAFS. Will she be accused of only being on the show for exposure? Watch this space…
Talking about exposure, our next contestant is Scott, who's no stranger to the small screen — in fact, he's already starred in Blind Date, Holey Moley AND Million Dollar Island. According to reports online, he has already admitted that he just wants ‘fame’. Hopefully his wife Gia, who he's coupled up with for MAFS Australia Season 13, isn't too disappointed with her ambitious match.
Other than appearing in (many!) TV shows, Scott works in asset finance.
Sydney-based beauty therapist Stella has been described by pals as a “good soul”, but according to insiders from the show, she's already caused some drama.
Apparently, she “blindsided” fellow bride Brook Compton (more on her below), reportedly telling her that she came across as “cold” and “fake”. That upfront attitude promises for great TV — we can't wait to see more from her.
Melbourne-based recruitment consultant Rachel is reportedly joining the MAFS Australia 2026 cast, with images of her wedding day having already been shared online.
Not much is currently known about her personal life, but according to reports, she has “sharp people skills” and “boundless energy” when it comes to corporate work life, so it seems she might apply those helpful soft skills to her relationships in the show. Her networking background might help with the social side of the show, too, like during the dinner parties and when the cast usually go away on a mini-break.
Australian Football League player Chris Nield sounds like the whole package — according to friends, he's humble, hardworking and fiercely loyal. However, according to a recently-released trailer for the new season, Chris might not be so skilled when it comes to speaking sensitively about women. He's filmed saying: “If I turn around and see a short, overweight blonde girl I'm gone”. Charming.
Confidence coach and former journalist Julia seems like a positive addition to the cast, having been described as “magnetic” and “articulate”. It doesn't seem like a shy, retiring type, having interviewed everyone from Cher to Kate Winslet to Matthew McConaughey over the course of her career.
We don't know yet who she'll be matched with, but it looks like she'll suit someone who's based in Sydney (where she lives), who's also into health and fitness, fashion and living life vibrantly.
Melbourne-based influencer Gia seems like she's going to put the P in party at the show's often dramatic dinner parties. According to a source, she's “confident, outrageous and completely unpredictable”. We can't wait to find out more.
Not much is known about Gold Coast-based recruitment agency owner Grayson McIvor, but his business Aeon Recruitment's Instagram tells us that he's stylish, loves dogs (always a good thing!) and cuts a professional figure.
According to friends, he has a “taste for luxury” and is a supportive friend. We're interested to find out which of the cast he'll be matched with.
Brook is based on the Gold Coast (like Grayson — could there be a match there?) and is a freelance model, appearing in campaigns for fashion and beauty brands.
She appears to have hit it off with some of the other brides, as Gia has recently commented on one of her posts (see above), writing “most gorgeous human inside and out”. Aside from her modelling career, she also works as a talent acquisition specialist.
According to friends close to Brook, she's “the life of the party” but always has her friends' backs.
UK-born Daniel is based in Melbourne and is reportedly a millionaire, though it remains to be seen whether he'll be sharing that information with his new bride (and the rest of the cast) or not.
He made his millions from his business in real estate and has a taste for designer suits and fancy cars. However, he's not all about looks — his friends describe him as having a “magnetic” personality.
Influencer Melissa is passionate about all things fashion, travel, wellness and social media and is based in Canberra. And while she's giving off nice girl vibes, a source close to her friends has shared that she doesn't have any patience for nonsense: “If you cross her, you'll know about it”.
Outdoorsy Steve is one of the older members of the group (coupled with Rebecca) and has a love for travel and adventure. Friends describe him as “the kind of guy who's friends with everyone”, but aren't sure if he's ready for the intense pressure of the show. If it doesn't work out romance-wise, we're sure he'll strike up a good friendship with similarly adventurous contestant, Luke. It's not clear where Steve is based, but the groom is a creative director in the hospitality industry.
According to his private Instagram, Filip is an ‘Optimist / Educational Content Creator’ and friends say he's “deep, spiritual and always searching for meaning”. Let's hope he's matched with a similarly wellness-focussed bride or groom.
Brand strategist and former rapper David Momoh is a ‘big picture thinker’ according to pals, and specialises in AI-driven marketing. Would he suit a similarly tech-y partner? You'll just have to watch the show to see who he's matched with…
Women have become equal players in their downfall.
