41 best beauty advent calendars I've opened + Black Friday deals

A handful of the best beauty advent calendars of 2025 are already discounted for Black Friday 2025, which means one thing: it's time to pick your fighter. At Glamour, we’ve been unboxing, testing and ranking the best advent calendar launches since August (we take festive prep seriously), sifting through every drawer. All in preparation for this week, really. That is: the final week to pick up an advent calendar, and the biggest sale event of the year.
Sephora’s mega 41-piece line-up, Liberty’s cult-status calendar, Harvey Nichols’ two ultra-luxury edits, Cult Beauty’s sell-out favourite and Charlotte Tilbury’s viral treasure chest have all impressed us the most since the summer. But really, so many of this year's drops are impressive. More full-size heroes, fewer random fillers, and line-ups that actually feel curated rather than thrown together. I've cherry-picked the ones that truly stand out based on contents, price and overall value, so you can skip the guesswork and go straight to the good stuff.
Oh, and while we’re on the subject, Glamour’s first-ever Beauty Advent Calendar is officially live and available to buy with 20% off for Black Friday – packed with 28 beauty and lifestyle icons (26 of them full-size). Trust me, it’s a good one.
Whether you’re treating yourself or gifting someone else, these are the beauty advent calendars actually worth unboxing this Christmas.

Why you should trust me:

All of the beauty advent calendars I've tested, stacked up in the GLAMOUR office.
I literally get paid to test beauty and wellness products, from lip glosses to Korean skincare and moisturisers. I'm more in-tune with new releases – and which brands are actually worth knowing about – than your average beauty fanatic. I have tested hundreds of products over the course of my career, most of which are featured in these advent calendar releases, and I've spoken to hundreds of experts around the ingredients and formulas best suited to different skin types, tones and hair types.
How I tested:
As you’ll see in our videos, I've worked with other editors on the Glamour team to open and review every beauty advent calendar that lands on the beauty desk. The clips below feature the brand-new 2025 calendars we’ve been unboxing and testing since August, with more being added as fresh launches arrive throughout the season.

Head to GLAMOUR UK's TikTok channel to watch my advent calendar unboxings.
GLAMOUR's beauty team opening the Cult Beauty Advent Calendar 2025.
I score the best advent calendars based on their packaging (top marks if it's reusable or recyclable), value for money, variety and whether or not the products inside work (and are suited to a range of complexions, hair types and makeup preferences).
My favourite beauty advent calendars feature plenty of full-sized products as well as extra goodies like the chance to win a £100 voucher for the beauty brand you've bought into. Beauty advent calendars would lose points for having poor value for money, or if they feature brands that GLAMOUR readers don't really care about. I know which names excite you.
Number of calendars tested so far in 2025:
- 35 calendars tested; 41 featured.

Ahead, the best beauty advent calendars 2025, approved by Glamour editors.
1. Best Beauty Advent Calendar Overall:
- Status: Pre-order now.
- Official launch: All pre orders will arrive by end of October.
- Price: £225.
- Worth: £1,025.
- Number of days: 25.
- Number of products: 41 products for the first time ever – 24 of which are full size + lots of exclusives.
- GLAMOUR's Highlight: Merit, Medik8, Glow Recipe, Gisou, K18, Rare, Tatcha and so much Sephora Collection.
- Improvements from 2024: The price has jumped slightly (£199 to £225), but so has the product payoff. There’s a record-breaking 41 products this year (up from 40), with the same generous 24 full sizes - plus a refreshed line-up featuring newer cult favourites like Merit, Rare Beauty, Tatcha and K18 alongside exciting Sephora Collection exclusives.
What's inside the Sephora Beauty Advent Calendar 2025?
Why we love it: After its big British launch in 2022, Sephora quickly cemented itself as the UK’s one-stop shop for all things beauty. We’re talking exclusive brands like Makeup by Mario, ONE/SIZE, Tarte, ILIA, Tower 28 and Merit - not to mention its own bestselling Sephora Collection. Basically, if you’re a beauty obsessive, this is the advent calendar to have on your radar.
And this year? Sephora has seriously raised the bar. The 2025 calendar is bigger and better than ever, packed with a record-breaking 41 products (including 24 full sizes). Worth a jaw-dropping £1,025 but retailing for £225, it’s one of the rare few calendars that crosses the £1,000+ value mark - putting it in the same league as heavyweights like Liberty and Selfridges. And because we know you want the details, GLAMOUR has your exclusive first look. You can check out the full line-up on our dedicated Sephora Advent Calendar page, but here’s a sneak peek at some of the products already on our radar:
- Merit Beauty Flush Balm Cream Blush in Cheeky Full Size.
- Medik8 Crystal Retinal Ceramide Eye 3 Full Size.
- Tarte Tartelette Palette - 6 shades.
- Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Hue Drops in Sun Glow Full Size.
- KAYALI Fleur Majesty Rose Royale | 31 Eau de Parfum Travel Size.
- Summer Fridays Sweet Mint Lip Butter Balm Full Size.
My favourite product is the Merit Beauty Flush Balm Cream Blush in Cheeky. We published a full Merit Beauty review the other day, acting as proof as to how much GLAMOUR adores this brand, and the Flush Balm came out as one of the very best. A cream blusher which is easy to swipe on directly from the pot, it serves a subtle flush of colour which can be built upon depending on your preferred intensity. It's glowy, it's balmy and it blends like a dream – and if you prefer a matte finish, you can top it with some carefully-placed pressed powder to suit your needs. So. Good.
The downside… while we have nothing negative to say about its contents, one thing that's a little disappointing is the packaging. Despite it being fun and festive, we can't help but wish it was a little more luxe - especially for the price tag.
Pros & ConsPros- More full-size product than any other calendar we've reviewed
- Sephora exclusives
Cons- Packaging could be more luxe for the price
2. Best Luxury Beauty Advent Calendar:
- Status: Available now.
- Official launch: Available now.
- Price: £175.
- Worth: Over £700.
- Number of days: 12 days.
- Number of products: 20.
- GLAMOUR's Highlight: Creed Aventus, Parfums de Marly, Escentric Molecules Molecule 01, Kilian Paris Roses.
- Improvements from 2024: The price has crept up slightly (£165 to £175), but there are more fragrances this time - 20 minis instead of 17 - and the mix feels fresher, with cult favourites like Creed, Kilian Paris and Parfums de Marly joining the line-up.
What's inside The Harvey Nichols 12 Days of Fragrance Advent Calendar 2025?
Why we love it: I’ll be honest - I still haven’t nailed down my signature scent, and there are only so many duty-free minis a girl can swipe before giving up. Thankfully Harvey Nichols’ 12 Days of Fragrance Advent Calendar is back for its second year - allowing me to road-test 20 olfactive heroes in a range of full size, travel size and deluxe miniatures.
Brand-wise, cue treats from cult-favourites including Creed, Escentric Molecules Molecule 01 (a personal fave of Glamour's Commerce Beauty Writer, Shani Cohen) and Kilian, as well as newer names such as Xerjoff, Matière Première, Frederic Malle, D.S & DURGA and Trudon.
And if you need reminding, it sold out in 24 hours last year - so don't wait around to grab it, especially if you're fragrance obsessed.
The downside… fragrance is so personal - and while the edit is seriously impressive, not every pick will be ‘the one.’ Add to that the fact it’s only 12 days, so you don’t get the full Christmas countdown, and it might not have the same daily excitement as the bigger beauty calendars. However, for fragrance-lovers, it’s a must.
Pros & ConsPros- Great value
- Perfect for fragrance-lovers
- Mix of icons (Creed, Kilian, Matière Première, D.S. & DURGA)
Cons- Only 12 days, so less of a daily build-up
- Fragrance-specific
3. Best For Hidden Surprises:
- Status: Available now.
- Official launch: Available now.
- Price: £275.
- Worth: Over £1,245.
- Number of days: 25 days.
- Number of products: 30 (20 of which are full size, compared to 18 last year) + 15 hidden £1,000 Liberty vouchers.
- GLAMOUR's Highlight: Augustinus Bader the rich eye cream. Obviously.
- Improvements from 2024: The price has gone up slightly (£260 to £275), but you’re getting more for it - 30 products this year compared to 28 last year, with 20 full sizes instead of 18. The design’s had a 150th-anniversary glow-up by Clym Evernden, and 15 lucky calendars include a £1,000 Golden Ticket to spend in-store - pretty iconic upgrade, if you ask us.
What's inside the Liberty Advent Calendar 2025?
Why we love it: Liberty’s beauty advent calendar is back - and honestly, it might just be their best one yet. To celebrate the store’s 150th anniversary, they’ve pulled out all the stops with a line-up worth over £1,245, packed into that iconic townhouse-shaped box (this year dressed up in a brand-new Clym Evernden illustration).
Inside? Think 20 full sizes (an upgrade from last year’s 18), 12 shiny new brand inclusions, and a massive 26 Liberty exclusives you won’t find anywhere else. Oh, and because Liberty doesn’t do things by halves, 15 lucky calendars will come with a £1,000 Golden Ticket to spend in-store. Yep, Willy Wonka energy but make it beauty.
The line-up is seriously impressive, covering skincare, makeup, fragrance and haircare - so whether you’re a serum obsessive, a lipstick hoarder or a candle collector, there’s something you’ll want to get your hands on. Hero highlights? We’re talking Emma Lewisham’s Skin Reset Face Serum, Sisley’s cult Floral Toning Lotion, Paula’s Choice Azelaic Acid Booster, Augustinus Bader’s The Rich Eye Cream, and La Mer’s luxe Lip Balm - all full size.
It’s that perfect mix of heritage icons and exciting newcomers, tucked behind Liberty’s famous patterned drawers. No wonder this calendar sells out year after year - and trust us, this one will go fast.
The downside… We love when brands switch things up with fresh launches and exciting new names, but that does mean this line-up might feel a little unfamiliar if you prefer tried-and-true classics. This one is definitely geared towards beauty lovers who like being ahead of the curve and discovering what’s new before everyone else.
Save when you shop the best beauty advent calendars with these Liberty discount codes.
Pros & ConsPros- 20 full-size products (up from 18 last year)
- 12 brand-new brands and 26 Liberty exclusives
- Chance to win a £1,000 Liberty Golden Ticket
Cons- Some inclusions feel familiar if you’ve had past Liberty calendars
- Expensive
4. Best For Full-Sized Products:
- Status: Available now.
- Official launch: Available now.
- Price: £240.
- Worth: Over £1,000.
- Number of days: 25.
- Number of products: 34, including 20 full-sized – and 40 products in the limited edition curation.
- GLAMOUR's Highlight: Summer Fridays, Saie, Kate Somerville, PATRICK TA, Medik8, Charlotte Tilbury.
- Improvements from 2024: Cult Beauty have stuck with the same £240 price tag, 34 products and 20 full sizes as last year, but we’ve spotted a few newbies in the mix - think Summer Fridays, Charlotte Tilbury and K18 joining the line-up. It’s packed with Cult Beauty icons as always, but there are a few familiar repeats, so a full refresh (and maybe even more full-sized treats) would’ve helped it stand out against the competition.
What's inside the Cult Beauty Advent Calendar 2025?
Why we love it: Considering CB's five previous advent calendars sold out, we had high hopes — and the online beauty powerhouse has delivered. Let's start with the exterior, lovingly designed by artist, filmmaker and photographer Quentin Jones.
But, most importantly - let's talk about the line-up. Featuring 34 expertly curated beauty icons (including 20 fill size favourites), we can safely say it's the brand's best advent calendar to date. Our favourite picks? The Patrick Ta Major Headlines Double-Take Creme and Powder Blush Duo, which now has a permanent spot in my handbag, due to its cherry hue and insane staying power. We were also thrilled to find a tube of the best tubing mascara we've tried, better known as Hourglass Unlocked Instant Extensions Mascara, which manages to cover each lash with just one coat.
And in the year we became loyal to lip oil, the Gisou Honey Infused Lip Oil Cherry On The Cake was an obvious addition. But arguably the most exciting item stuffed inside, though? Potentially one of three Golden Tickets, each worth a staggering £1,000 for you to spend at Cult Beauty.
Even better news: Cult Beauty will also be donating £60,000 from its advent-related sales to a top-secret charity, which will be announced shortly.
The downside… as much as I love the sheer variety, some of the products will already be familiar if you’re a Cult Beauty regular. It’s amazing for topping up on icons, but if you were hoping for a box full of brand-new discoveries, you might find a few repeats from your existing stash.
Pros & ConsPros- 34 products, including 20 full size
- Mix of cult icons and trending favourites
- Three golden tickets worth £1,000 each
Cons- Some inclusions may feel like repeats if you shop Cult Beauty often
5. Most Improved Beauty Advent Calendar:
- Status: Available now.
- Official launch: Already live.
- Price: £250.
- Worth: £1,136.
- Number of days: 25 days.
- Number of products: 37 products.
- GLAMOUR's Highlight: Full size UKLash complex peptide lash serum and my beloved Murad cellular hydration barrier repair mask. I adore it.
- Improvements from 2024: The price stays the same at £250, but you’re getting more for it - 37 products this year with 24 full sizes, up from 22 last year. The line-up feels more elevated too, with standouts like UKLash, Murad and Refy joining the mix. The packaging hasn’t had a major revamp (we wouldn’t mind seeing them mix it up next year), but what’s inside more than makes up for it.
What's inside Selfridges Beauty Advent Calendar 2025?
Why we love it: Selfridges has officially launched its Beauty Advent Calendar for 2025 - and it’s safe to say this one’s going to be popular. The packaging hasn’t had a major refresh, but what’s inside has seriously levelled up. This year’s edit includes 37 products in total, 24 of them full size - compared to 22 last year - all while keeping the same £250 price tag. That’s why we’ve crowned it most improved for 2025.
Some of my personal highlights? The Refy Duo Brush - which is genuinely the only brush I use for foundation, bronzer and pretty much everything in between. A Jo Malone London English Pear & Freesia Cologne (iconic), and a full-size Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray that I always keep in my handbag. Plus, viral favourites like the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask in Berry and Gisou Honey Infused Hair Oil make an appearance, alongside luxe staples like the full-size UKLash Complex Peptide Lash Serum and my ride-or-die Murad Cellular Hydration Barrier Repair Mask.
The downside… while the sheer volume of products is impressive, it can feel a little overwhelming - especially when you open a door and find three items crammed inside. And the packaging isn’t the easiest to open, so be prepared for a bit of a tug-of-war to get everything out.
Pros & ConsPros- 37 products in total, with 24 full size (two more than last year)
- Same £250 price point despite the bigger line-up
- Generous mix of skincare, makeup, haircare and fragrance
Cons- Packaging can be fiddly to open
- Three products behind one door can feel overwhelming
6. Best For Beauty Buffs:
- Status: Available now.
- Official launch: Already live.
- Price: £250.
- Worth: TBC.
- Number of days: 25 days.
- Number of products: 32.
- GLAMOUR's Highlight: 25 days of premium products from brands like Augustinus Bader, La Mer, Hourglass, Medik8 and the like.
- Improvements from 2024: Last year’s calendar set the bar high with 25 products worth £1,600, but 2025 takes things up a notch with 32 inside - 14 of them full size. The price remains £250, making it feel like one of the most luxurious-value edits of the year. The line-up’s had a refresh too, with additions from Hourglass, Medik8 and Rodial sitting alongside Harrods staples like La Mer and Augustinus Bader.
What's inside the Harrods Beauty Advent Calendar 2025?
Why we love it: Harrods has just dropped not one but two advent calendars for 2025 - the Beauty Advent Calendar and the 12 Days of Hair & Body Advent Calendar. And if history is anything to go by, they won’t be around for long.
For now, let’s focus on the main event: the Harrods Beauty Advent Calendar 2025. Inside you’ll find 32 premium products, 14 of them full size, making it feel less like a festive countdown and more like a curated edit of global beauty favourites.
Some standouts for me? The Rodial Bronze Glowlighter and Frosted Pink Blush Drops - perfect if you’re embracing the blush-blindness trend. Our Senior Commerce Writer Sophie swears by the Medik8 Crystal Retinal, saying: “For the first time in my life, I’m acne-free and am convinced it’s due to this wonder tube.” And I was thrilled to spot luxury staples like La Mer’s Crème de la Mer, the Champo Pitta Brow Serum, and the viral Augustinus Bader Face Oil, which uses the brand’s patented Trigger Factor Complex to calm and protect stressed-out skin.
The downside… as you’d expect from Harrods, the line-up is undeniably luxe, but it does lean quite heavily on skincare heroes. If you’re hoping for more of a mix - think wellness, fragrance or haircare - this one might not tick every box. That said, Harrods has you covered with a dedicated Hair & Body Advent Calendar this year, so you can always double up.
Pros & ConsPros- 31 products, 14 full size
- Premium mix of icons: Augustinus Bader, La Mer, Hourglass, Medik8
Cons- Very skincare-heavy
7. Most Popular Beauty Advent Calendar:
- Status: Available now.
- Official launch: Available now.
- Price: £105.
- Worth: Over £655.
- Number of days: 25 days.
- Number of products: 28. 17 of these are full-sized.
- GLAMOUR's Highlight: Sol de Janeiro, Medik8, Color Wow, The White Company, Iconic London.
- Improvements from 2024: The price has nudged up slightly (£100 to £105), but so has the value - now worth over £655 compared to last year’s £565. You’re also getting more inside: 28 products this year (up from 27), with 17 full sizes instead of 13.
What's inside the LookFantastic Advent Calendar 2025?
Why we love it: For the past three years, the LookFantastic Advent Calendar has been one of the most popular among GLAMOUR readers - and honestly, I’m not surprised. It’s become such a fixture that it’s now officially the UK’s #1 selling beauty product in e-commerce, according to NielsenIQ. In other words, it’s kind of a big deal.
This year is extra special, as LF is celebrating its 10-year anniversary with not just one, but three calendars: the OG Beauty Calendar, plus a new Grooming Calendar and a Fragrance Calendar. The Beauty Calendar alone packs 28 products worth over £655 for just £105, which is hands-down one of the best value edits out there. Some of my favourite picks? The full-size Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 62 Perfume Mist, a cosy White Company Seychelles Candle, and the Medik8 Hydra B5 Intense - a serum my skin laps up when it’s at its driest. Add in Color Wow, Iconic London and Laneige, and it’s basically your everyday routine sorted into one chic box.
The downside… as much as I rate the value (and it really is amazing), the packaging doesn’t feel as luxe or special as some of the higher-priced calendars. It’s definitely more about what’s inside than the unboxing experience.
Pros & ConsPros- One of the best-value calendars of 2025 (£655 worth for £105)
- Mix of iconic brands (Sol de Janeiro, Medik8, The White Company, Iconic London, Laneige)
- 28 products, 17 full size
Cons- Packaging isn’t as luxe as pricier calendars
8. Best Beauty Advent Calendar For Big-Name Brands:
- Status: SOLD OUT.
- Official launch: Available now.
- Price: £250.
- Worth: Over £1,000.
- Number of days: 25.
- Number of products: 37 (20 full-sized).
- GLAMOUR's Highlight: NARS, La Prairie, La Mer, Trinny London, Color Wow and Bamford.
- Improvements from 2024: While there are fewer products this year - 37, to be exact - 20 of them are full-sized (up from 18 last year), so you’re essentially getting more for your money. The line-up’s had a serious glow-up too, with luxe additions like La Mer, La Prairie and Bamford joining returning favourites including Trinny London and Color Wow.
What's inside The Harvey Nichols Beauty Advent Calendar 2025?
Why we love it: What isn't? Consider most big-name beauty brands covered — 28, to be precise — including Le Labo, Augustinus Bader, La Mer, Trinny London, Color WOW, and Philip Kingsley. Yep, Audrey Hepburn because, fun fact, the Elasticizer Deep Conditioning Treatment was originally invented specifically for the Breakfast at Tiffany's star.
In terms of specific products, you can expect a travel-friendly Brazilian Bum Bum Cream and a full-size bottle of Rodial's Soft Focus Glow Booster Drops which deliver a‘from-within’ glow within seconds. Including the latter, we know that 20 of the products are full-sized: one of the highest mini to maxi ratios of any 2025 calendar so far. And a select 50 calendars will also house a Harvey Nichols Gift Card worth £50, allowing you to grow your haul further. Win-win-win…
Design-wise, we're low-key obsessed with that hot pink and red combo, expertly designed by Jacky Marshall, better known as Jacky Blue — the mastermind behind the brand's bold-and-beautiful S/S 25 campaign.
The downside… while the brand line-up is undeniably impressive, some of the product picks don’t feel quite as fresh or exciting as I’d hoped. It’s still a luxe edit and one of the most generous calendars out there, but I’d have loved to see a few newer launches mixed in with the classics.
Pros & ConsPros- 20 full-size products
- Luxe extras like the £50 gift card hidden in 50 calendars
- Striking Jacky Blue design
Cons- Some of the product choices feel a little safe
- Could feature newer launches to shake things up
9: Best Beauty Advent Calendar For Korean Skincare:
- Status: Available now.
- Price: £70.
- Worth: £289.
- Number of days: 24.
- Number of products: 24.
- GLAMOUR’s Highlight: Anua Rice 70 Glow Milky Toner, Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Moisture Oil and BYOMA's Melting Balm Cleanser.
- Improvements from 2024: Boots has upped its skincare game this year, leaning fully into K-beauty with new viral favourites from Anua, Haruharu and BYOMA joining the line-up. The price has crept up slightly (£65 to £70), but it’s worth it for the glow-up - the mix feels more on-trend, and a proper step forward from last year’s more classic edit.
Why we love it: If you're into K-beauty (I mean who isn't nowadays), this one's a no-brainer. Boots has packed this calendar with 24 skincare treats (20 are full-sized), including viral brands like Anua, Haruhara, BYOMA, The Inkey List, St Moriz, BUBBLE and so many more. From the popular Anua Rice Glow Milky Toner to the Haruhara Wonder Black Moisture Oil, it's basically a full K-beauty skincare routine, all packed into a festive themed box. And at £70 - it's one of the best value beauty advent calendars we've seen so far.
The downside… It's all skincare, no makeup. So, if you're hoping for a mascara or lipstick surpsie, this isn't the calendar for you.
Pros & ConsPros- 20 full-size skincare products
- Packed with K-beauty favourites
- Great value
Cons- No makeup included - just skincare
10. Best Makeup Advent Calendar:
- Status: Available now.
- Official launch: Available now.
- Price: £175.
- Worth: Over £260.
- Number of days: 12 days.
- Number of products: 12 in total, and five are full-size (last year only two were full-size).
- GLAMOUR's Highlight: Magic Cream moisturiser, Pillow Talk Matte Revolution Lipstick, Exagger-Eyes Volume Mascara, Charlotte's Magic Serum Crystal Elixir, Pillow Talk Beauty Light Wand.
What's inside the Charlotte Tilbury Advent Calendar 2025?
Why we love it: Pretty much my entire skincare and makeup routine consists of Charlotte Tilbury products - so the idea of a calendar packed with her bestsellers? It doesn’t get much better really. After a little teasing, Charlotte has finally revealed the full line-up, and the Beauty Treasure Chest is officially on sale.
Housed in a sparkling gold chest with 12 drawers, it includes icons like the Magic Cream moisturiser, Pillow Talk Matte Revolution Lipstick, Exagger-Eyes Volume Mascara, Charlotte's Magic Serum Crystal Elixir and the viral Pillow Talk Beauty Light Wand. With five full-size products and seven minis, it’s the most generous CT calendar we’ve seen yet.
The downside…while we’re huge CT fans, we can safely say it’s not the best value calendar out there. For example, LookFantastic’s is £105 and has 17 full-size products while this one costs £175, but features only 12 drawers and five full-size products. Despite it being smaller than other luxe options, if all you wear is Charlotte Tilbury, this one is for you.
Pros & ConsPros- Five full-size products - the most generous CT calendar yet
- Features Charlotte Tilbury’s most iconic products (Magic Cream, Pillow Talk Lipstick, Beauty Light Wand)
Cons- Smaller than other calendars (12 drawers)
- Expensive for amount of products
11: Best Natural Beauty Advent Calendar:
- Status: Pre-order now.
- Official launch: Shipping from week commencing 3rd November.
- Price: £149.
- Worth: £320.
- Number of days: 12.
- Number of products: 12.
- GLAMOUR’s Highlight: The Youth Potion Enriched Retinal Complex, Rainforest Dew Hydration Serum and a limited-edition Blend No. 1 Eau de Parfum
What’s inside the Tropic 12 Days of Tropic Advent Calendar 2025?
Why we love it: Tropic never misses when it comes to Christmas, and this year’s 12-day line-up is a proper treat. You get a mix of their cult skincare favourites, some indulgent body care and a couple of makeup surprises, all tucked into a green, white and gold festive box that looks as good on your shelf as it does under the tree.
The highlights? Bestsellers like the Smoothing Cleanser Complexion Purifier and Rainforest Dew Hydration Serum are in there, plus a few exclusives you won’t find anywhere else - we’re talking a Passion Flower & Pink Pepper Hand Cream, a limited-edition Blend No. 1 Eau de Parfum and even a full lip trio. They’ve also thrown in the So Sleepy Pillow Mist (ideal for winding down after all the festive chaos) and a chic little mirror for on-the-go touch-ups.
The downside…It’s only a 12-day countdown, so it won’t last the whole month. But, considering you’re getting plenty of limited-edition goodies and even a calendar exclusive - it seems like a great pick (especially for clean beauty lovers).
Pros & ConsPros- Skincare, body care and makeup all included
- Calendar-only exclusives
- Chic reusable packaging
Cons- Just 12 days instead of 24
- Skincare-heavy line-up may not excite makeup lovers
12. Best Packaging:
- Status: Sold out.
- Official launch: Sold out.
- Price: £260.
- Worth: Over £1,150.
- Number of days: 25.
- Number of products: 35 products (26 of which are full-size). This is three more full-size products VS last year, and two more products in total.
- GLAMOUR's Highlight: A new launch from the brand approved by Kim Kardashian, K18 HAIR Molecular Repair Hair Oil's has sold over 135 units at Space NK this week alone, and is included (in full size) in the calendar.
What's inside Space NK Beauty Advent Calendar 2025?
Why we love it The Space NK Beauty Advent Calendar 2025 sold out in record time – and honestly, it’s not hard to see why. Worth over £1,150, it was packed with 35 products, including 29 full-size (three more than last year). The box itself was bold and colourful, but it was the line-up that really delivered.
Highlights included K18’s Molecular Repair Hair Oil (a Kim Kardashian favourite), Tatcha’s Brightening Serum, Milk Makeup’s Hydro Grip Setting Spray and must-haves from Westman Atelier, Naturium, Medik8 and Lisa Eldridge.
The downside…It’s already sold out, so unless you joined the waitlist early, it's sadly not available anymore. The good news? Space NK’s 12 Days of Fragrance Advent Calendar is still open to waitlist here – a perfect alternative if you’re more into perfume than palettes.
Pros & ConsPros- Worth over £1,150 - one of the highest-value calendars this year
- 35 products in total, with 26 full size (three more than last year)
Cons- £10 more expensive than last year
- 35 products might feel overwhelming if you prefer a more curated edit

GLAMOUR’s Highlight: The cult Snake Serum 02 (aka the closest thing to a filter in a bottle). What's inside the Rodial’s 12 Days of Luxury 2025?
Why we love it: Rodial’s 12 Days of Luxury is a well-edited line-up of the brand’s bestsellers. You’ll find cult skincare (Snake Serum 02 we’re looking at you) alongside mini makeup that slots easily into your routine (and handbag).
There are three sets of eye patches from the Snake, Bee Venom and Dragon’s Blood ranges - the ultimate quick fix for tired December eyes. You’ll also get a Cherry Lip Oil that’s hydrating and glossy, plus a full-size Dragon’s Blood Cleansing Water to keep skin fresh. On the makeup front, there’s Peach Lowlighter to brighten, Sunset Kiss blush-drops for a pop of colour, and Bronze Glowlighter to fake that just-back-from-holiday glow. A mini buffing brush finishes things off so you can apply your new makeup additions perfectly.
The downside… It’s a 12-day calendar rather than a full 25, so it won’t see you through the whole month. Still, at under £100, it’s a great way to try Rodial’s most popular products without splurging on full sizes.
Pros & ConsPros- Good mix of skincare and makeup.
- Under £100.
Cons- Just 12 days, not 25.
- Heavy on minis.

GLAMOUR’s Highlight: Full-size Santa Rosa Eau de Toilette, Full-size Seychelles Candle, Winter Signature Candle, Amalfi Lemon Eau de Toilette, Clementine & Juniper Bath & Shower Gel.What’s inside The White Company Advent Calendar 2025?
Why we love it: The White Company’s 2025 calendar feels like a month-long treat rather than just a countdown. For £195 you’re getting 25 drawers (worth over £319) filled with a mix of their most-loved scents and pampering essentials - and there are more full-size products than ever this year.
Inside you’ll find a curated edit of their best fragrances and bodycare: Seychelles, Lime & Bay, Fir Tree and Winter Signature classics alongside luxe extras like Amalfi Lemon and Santa Rosa eau de toilettes, votive candles, mini diffusers, wellness bath shots, handbag sized creams and even a full-size Winter Hand Wash. Every drawer feels like a little self-care moment and, unlike a lot of calendars, it keeps the treats coming right through to Christmas Day.
The downside…It’s a purely White Company edit, so you won’t find makeup or other brands. And although the line-up is generous, many products are mini or travel sizes - ideal if you like sampling, less so if you’re hoping to stock up on full-sized faves.
Pros & ConsPros- More full-size products than before.
- A good mix of home and bodycare treats.
- Includes White Company bestsellers.
Cons- Many products are travel-sized.
- Only The White Company products.

GLAMOUR’s Highlight Four full-size icons - Wonder Volume XXL Mascara, Hydra-Essentiel Lip Balm, Hydra-Essentiel Day Cream and the Lip Comfort Oil in Pitaya. What’s inside the Clarins 24 Day Advent Calendar 2025
Why we love it: I’ve always had a soft spot for Clarins – my mum always had a Clarins lip balm or hand cream in her bag, so it’s one of those brands I grew up around. That’s why I’m such a fan of this year’s Clarins advent calendar - it feels nostalgic, indulgent, but also really practical.
Behind each of the 24 doors you’ll find a mix of skincare, body care and make-up. The big wins are the four full-size heroes: Wonder Volume XXL Mascara, Hydra-Essentiel Lip Balm, Hydra-Essentiel Day Cream, and the cult Lip Comfort Oil in Pitaya. Alongside those are plenty of deluxe minis - cleansers, serums, masks, primers and body treats - so you get a proper taste of the brand’s bestsellers. All wrapped up in Clarins’ signature festive red packaging - you really can’t go wrong.
The downside…The majority of the products are minis rather than full-size, and with 24 doors instead of 25 there’s no Christmas Day treat. At £155 it’s still a bit of a splurge - though considering it’s worth over £282, it's great value if you're a die-hard Clarins fan.
Pros & ConsPros- Four full-size bestsellers
- A good mix of skincare, make-up and body care
Cons- 24 days, not 25 - so no Christmas Day surprise
- A lot of the products are minis

GLAMOUR’s Highlight: Pro-Collagen Marine Cream, Black Cherry Cleansing Balm, Superfood Multi-Mist.What's inside the Elemis beauty advent calendar 2025?
Why we love it: Elemis fans, our moment has arrived - the brand’s advent calendar has officially landed and it really is a skincare lover’s dream. With 25 days of glow-inducing treats, it’s basically like having your own at-home spa in the lead-up to Christmas. Inside you’ll find Pro-Collagen heroes, radiance-boosting Superfood staples, and indulgent bodycare minis that are perfect for tossing in your handbag or taking on a winter getaway.
Some standouts for me? The full-size Pro-Collagen Marine Cream (the kind of moisturiser I cut open to get every last drop), the Future Restore Serum, and the Black Cherry Cleansing Balm that makes taking your makeup off a breeze. I also love that 15 calendars come with a hidden Golden Ticket worth £1,000 to spend on Elemis.com.
The downside… it’s definitely a calendar for Elemis loyalists - the line-up leans heavily on skincare repeats, so if you already have a bathroom shelf full of Pro-Collagen minis, it might not feel quite as exciting as some of the more mixed-brand edits.
Pros & ConsPros- Includes cult Superfood staples and bodycare minis
- Golden Ticket worth £1,000 hidden in 15 calendars
- Perfect for Elemis fans
Cons- Skincare-heavy and less variety than other calendars
- May feel repetitive if you already own a lot of Elemis bestsellers
17. Best Beauty Advent Calendar for High-End Skincare
- Status: Available now.
- Price: £525.
- Worth: Not disclosed.
- Number of days: 12.
- Number of products: 12.
- GLAMOUR’s Highlight: The Rich Cream (30ml) – the product that put Augustinus Bader on the map – plus The Serum and The Hand Treatment, which feel like proper full-size luxuries rather than stocking fillers.
What’s inside The 12 Days of Bader 2025?
Why we love it: Here’s the thing about Augustinus Bader… once you’ve tried it, you’ll never look at your skincare shelf the same way again. I still remember the first time I used The Rich Cream and couldn’t believe how much fresher and more awake my skin looked the next morning. That’s why I love this calendar – it gives you the chance to try all of the brand’s icons in one go without committing to full-size everything (because let’s be honest, it is pretty pricey).
Inside are 12 luxe treats covering every step of a routine. You’ve got The Cream Cleansing Gel and The Essence to prep, The Serum and Retinol Serum for that Bader glow, plus The Eye Cream, Eye Patches, Lip Balm and a Hydrogel Face Mask for a little skin reset. There’s also The Tinted Balm, The Cream (15ml) and a generous Hand Treatment (50ml). And then, of course, the full-size Rich Cream – the hero that everyone raves about (me included).
The downside…Costing over £500 this is definitely a splurge, and most of the products are travel-sized rather than full. But if you’ve been curious about Bader for a while, it’s a seriously luxe way to see what all the hype is about.
Pros & ConsPros- Includes the cult full-size Rich Cream
- A curated edit of Bader’s best-loved formulas
Cons- Expensive
- Only 12 days, not a full month’s countdown
18: Best Packaging
- Status: Available now.
- Official launch: Available now.
- Price: £450.
- Worth: Over £1,028.
- Number of days: 24 days.
- Number of products:24.
- GLAMOUR’s highlight: The limited-edition snowflake Glow Drops (we're obsessed).
- Improvements from 2024: This year’s calendar feels more thoughtful than last year’s. The red box has been swapped for a deep green velvet design that’s instantly more luxe, and there are some fun new festive additions too. It’s a more personal, playful take on the brand’s usual sleek aesthetic.
What's inside the Dr. Barbara Sturm Advent Calendar 2025?
Why we love it: My favourite packaging of the year, easily. The green velvet box will look incredible under the Christmas tree, and feels so special to open. I’ll definitely be reusing it once December’s over.
Inside, it’s a full Dr. Barbara Sturm line-up - the kind of skincare routine you could build your entire winter around. Expect heavy-hitters like The Enzyme Cleanser, Hyaluronic Serum, The Better B Niacinamide Serum and those limited-edition Glow Drops that have already made their way into my daily rotation.
What makes it stand out this year are the smaller, considered touches - the headband, the eye patches, and yes, the festive cookie cutter and recipe. The addition of the Men’s Face Cream makes it feel more inclusive too - the perfect gift for him if you're willing to share.
It’s pricey, sure, but when it comes to Dr. Sturm, it’s all about high-quality ingredients and formulas that actually deliver - so we’d say it’s worth the splurge - even if it’s just for that dreamy velvet box.
The downside: 24 drawers instead of 25 last year, but still the same price. Expensive, and skincare only - so no makeup or fragrance finds here.
Pros & ConsPros- Stunning velvet box
- Features Dr. Barbara Sturm bestsellers
- Lots of festive additions
Cons- Expensive
- 1 less prodcut than last year
19. Best For Mums:
- Status: Waitlist open now.
- Official launch: VIP pre-sale on 12th September, followed by national launch on 19th September.
- Price: £360.
- Worth: Jo Malone doesn't disclose this information.
- Number of days: 25 days.
- Number of products: 25.
- GLAMOUR's Highlight: I'm a forever fan of the brand's Pomegranate Noir scent – so it has to be the Pomegranate Noir Mini Candle.
What’s inside the Jo Malone Advent Calendar 2025?
Why we love it: Back with a joyful spin on the brand’s classic drawer design, the Jo Malone 2025 advent calendar serves the chance to open 25 days' worth of fragrance and lifestyle surprises in December. Think everything from colognes to body creams and those little candles that instantly make your home smell like a five-star hotel.
Standouts for me? The Orange Bitters Travel Candle (the scent of Christmas parties, bottled), the Velvet Rose & Oud Body Crème that feels as luxe on as it sounds, and of course my forever fave, the Pomegranate Noir Mini Candle. You also get icons like English Pear & Freesia, Blackberry & Bay and Wood Sage & Sea Salt, alongside deeper, more unexpected scents like Hinoki & Cedarwood and Oud & Bergamot - so there’s something for everyone.
The downside… at £360 it’s one of the priciest calendars around, and Jo Malone still doesn’t disclose the total value, which makes it harder to justify compared to some of the better-value edits. And if you’re more about skincare and makeup, a calendar that’s all fragrance and bodycare might not be the one for you.
Pros & ConsPros- Perfect gift for Jo Malone fans
- Includes seasonal exclusives like the Orange Bitters Candle
Cons- Only fragrance and bodycare - not beauty
20. Best Hair Advent Calendar:
- Status: Available now.
- Official launch: Available now.
- Price: £99.
- Worth: Not disclosed.
- Number of days: 12 days.
- Number of products: 12.
- GLAMOUR's Highlight: Features hero formulas from Chāmpo, Sol de Janeiro and Gisou.
What’s inside the Harrods 12 Days of Hair & Body Advent Calendar 2025?
Why we love it: Have your skincare routine nailed but totally clueless when it comes to hair and body care? The Harrods 12 Days of Hair & Body Advent Calendar 2025 has officially landed, and it’s packed with everything you need to treat yourself from head to toe. Inside you’ll find the Drybar Prep Rally Prime & Prep Detangler, plus a £20 voucher - the perfect excuse to carve out a little extra self-care in your busy schedule.
Another highlight? A dreamy restock of our Sol de Janeiro faves, including the Cheirosa 76 Body Mist and the cult-favourite Brazilian Bum Bum Cream, which, as a serial sweater, is one of the only body moisturisers I can actually wear daily. And for my fine-haired girls, Colour Wow’s Raise the Root Thicken & Lift Spray is in the mix too - TikTok loves it, and I can confirm it gives long-lasting lift without the dreaded sticky or crunchy feel. Honestly, this is the six-monthly restock my beauty cupboard was crying out for - and it’s all yours for under £100.
The downside… with only 12 doors, it doesn’t have the same day-to-day countdown as bigger advent calendars on our list, and it’s very hair-and-body focused. Great if that’s what you’re after, but not if you’re expecting makeup or skincare surprises.
Pros & ConsPros- Includes a £20 Harrods voucher
- Hair and bodycare focused
- Great value
Cons- Only 12 days
- No skincare or makeup inside
21. Best For Teenage Girls:
- Status: Available now.
- Official launch: Available now.
- Price: £98.
- Worth: £365.
- Number of days: 24 days.
- Number of products: 24, including 11 full-size.
- GLAMOUR's Highlight: I'm excited to see the ESPA Bergamot and Jasmine body wash inside this year – a fancy shower gel really elevates the everyday.
What's inside the Anthropologie Advent Calendar 2025?
Why we love it: While the Anthropologie advent calendar might not house quite as many cult and TikTok-trending brands as the calendars served up by other retailers, we decided to include it due to its divine packaging (designed by Nephthys Illustrated), its under £100 price point, and the inclusion of surprise tickets in some lucky calendars. There are also 11 full-size products inside this beauty calendar, which stacks up against competitors. Brands featured include Grown Alchemist, L'Occitane, Wonderskin (the brains behind that viral lip stain), Malin + Goetz and Molly Mae-approved Beauty Works.
The downside… If you’re a seasoned beauty obsessive, the line-up might not feel as exciting or curated as some of the bigger retailer edits. But as a first advent calendar, or a gift for teens - it’s ideal.
22. Best Affordable:
- Status: Available now.
- Official launch: Already live.
- Price: £48.
- Worth: Undisclosed.
- Number of days: 24 days.
- Number of products: 24.
- GLAMOUR's Highlight: The Puffy Eye Attack under-eye patches are my top pick. They're formulated with hydrating Cucumber Fruit Juice and brightening Liquorice Root Extract to leave under-eyes looking smoother.
What's inside the Soap & Glory Advent Calendar 2025?
Why we love it: One of the very few advent calendars which are under £50 – but also worth a feature – is the Soap & Glory advent calendar. Stocked at Boots only, it sells out every year thanks to its ultra-giftable nature. It features miniature sizes only, but a healthy mix of shower gels, body butters and products from the tropical fruit-inspired Call of Fruity line.
The downside… with only minis inside, it’s definitely more of a fun stocking filler than a luxury edit.
Pros & ConsPros- Under £50
- Packed with Soap & Glory favourites
- Great gift option for teens
Cons- Minis only, no full-size products
- No makeup or wider brand variety
23. Best For Sensitive Skin:
- Status: Available now.
- Official launch: Available now.
- Price: £175.
- Worth: Undisclosed.
- Number of days: 24 days.
- Number of products: 24 products.
- GLAMOUR's Highlight: The FULL SIZE Cleanse & Polish™ Hot Cloth Cleanser, obviously.
What's inside the Liz Earle Advent Calendar 2025?
Why we love it: A gorgeous gift for mums – or gift for grandmas, equally – is the Liz Earle beauty advent calendar, which we've included simply due to our long-standing adoration for the botanical skincare brand. Across the range, we've tested cleansers, face toners, hand creams and eye creams over the past decade – and excitingly, many of our favourites are featured in this year's festive line-up.
The star of the show is, of course, the inclusion of a full size Cleanse & Polish™ Hot Cloth Cleanser: Liz Earle's all-time bestseller. Suitable for all skin types – even sensitive skin – it's formulated with Rosemary, Chamomile, Cocoa Butter and Eucalyptus Essential Oil to soften the skin while removing daily impurities and buffing away dead skin.
The downside… the line-up is very skincare-focused and leans more towards anti-ageing classics, so it feels best suited to older skin types.
Pros & ConsPros- Gentle products, suitable for sensitive skin
- Includes Liz Earle’s cult bestseller Cleanse & Polish™
Cons- Better suited to older skin types - not the most inclusive
24. Best Charity Beauty Advent Calendar:
- Status: Available now.
- Official launch: Available now.
- Price: £90.
- Worth: Undisclosed.
- Number of days: 24 days.
- Number of products: 24.
- GLAMOUR's Highlight: No7 Protect & Perfect Intense ADVANCED Serum.
What's inside the MacMillan Advent Calendar 2025?
Why we love it: Through Boots' partnership with Macmillan, the stalwart beauty brand has developed bespoke training to equip thousands of Boots Macmillan Information Pharmacists, No7 Boots Macmillan Beauty Advisors and Boots Macmillan Opticians Professionals with the specialist knowledge to understand and support the holistic needs of people living with cancer. Together with their customers, they have also raised over £22.6 million, to help people with cancer live life as fully as they can. One of the biggest ways they raise money each year? Through the launch of their MacMillan Beauty Advent Calendar, where £2 from the sale of every calendar goes towards MacMillan Cancer Support. That justifies a feature in our guide to the best beauty advent calendars of 2025 alone.
This year, you can find 24 products from Boots' brands – including Liz Earle, No7, Champneys and Soap & Glory. Want in? You bet we do.
25. Best Beauty Advent Calendar For Tweens:
- Status: Available now.
- Official launch: Available now.
- Price: £50.
- Worth: Over £100.
- Number of days: 24.
- Number of products: 24 – with 11 full size.
- GLAMOUR's Highlight: 100% cruelty-free and vegan. We love the inclusion of the full-size Revolution Beauty Mirror.
What's inside Revolution Beauty Advent Calendar 2025?
Why we love it: The Revolution Beauty Sparkle Makeup Advent Calendar is packed full of 24 makeup and beauty products for lips, eyes and complexion – as well as tools, like a full-size mirror – making it the perfect gift for tweens. It's worth over £100, and everything is cruelty-free and vegan. Favourite products include the Revolution Beauty Reloaded Highlighter, Revolution Beauty Lip Allure Soft Satin Lipstick in Siren Pink Nude, Revolution Glow Bomb Lip Balm and full size Revolution Beauty Icons Edit Palette.
The downside… while fun and affordable, the line-up does feel more playful than premium, and it’s clearly aimed at younger skin. If you’re after luxe formulas or something a little more inclusive, this won’t be the one for you.
Pros & ConsPros- Affordable
- 11 full-size products, including a mirror and full palette
Cons- Geared towards younger skin
- Less inclusive for different age groups/skin needs
26. Best Beauty Advent Calendar For Bodycare:
- Status: Available now.
- Official launch: Available now.
- Price: £300.
- Worth: £602.
- Number of days: 24.
- Number of products: 24 (13 full-size).
- GLAMOUR's Highlight: The forever-popular geranium body wash.
What's inside Bamford Advent Calendar 2025?
Why we love it: I've long been a fan of the beautiful Bamford Spa – part of Daylesford Farm in The Cotswolds – investing in one of the brand's luxurious shower gels or hand washes every time I grace the aisles of the store. The at-home Bamford Spa offering has burgeoned rather dramatically over the past few years, and now spans body care, sleep oils, bath products and fragrance. Last year's calendar housed 12 products; this years will house 24 for the first time – where more than half of the doors have full-sized products hidden behind. It's such a beautiful gift for her.
The downside… this is very much a spa-and-wellbeing edit, so if you’re after a mix of makeup, trending skincare or more variety - this might not be the best pick for you. It's also the second priciest calendar on our list.
Pros & ConsPros- Double the products vs last year
- 13 full-sized products
- Wellness-focused calendar
Cons- High price point
27. Best Value Beauty Advent Calendar:
- Status: Available now.
- Official launch: Available now.
- Price: £265.
- Worth: Over £1,149.
- Number of days: 26.
- Number of products: 26 (23 full-sized, 3 travel-sized).
- GLAMOUR's Highlight: Sol de Janeiro, Jo Malone, Baobab, Charlotte Posner.
What's inside Fortnum's beauty advent calendar 2025?
Why we love it: Fortnum & Mason isn’t just about hampers and tea - their beauty advent calendar has quietly become one of the most luxurious on the scene. And 2025’s edition? It’s the biggest yet. Worth over £1,149 and retailing at £265, it’s packed with 26 products, including a whopping 23 full sizes. Basically, you’re getting more full-size treasures here than in almost any other calendar this year.
Inside you’ll find a mix of British beauty icons and modern cult favourites - from Sol de Janeiro’s Brazilian Bum Bum Cream (aka holiday-in-a-pot) and Jo Malone London’s English Pear & Freesia Hand Cream to Clive Christian’s Town & Country Perfume (the definition of luxury) and Delilah’s Liquid Blush in Peony for the perfect everyday glow. There are indulgent extras too, like a Baobab scented candle, Ortigia bath salts, and a Charlotte Posner wash bag that’s almost too pretty to use.
It’s skincare, fragrance, bodycare and little lifestyle luxuries all in one. And because this is Fortnum’s, the packaging is as collectible as the products - fully recyclable, yes, but designed so beautifully you’ll want to keep and refill it every December.
The downside… as you’d expect from Fortnum & Mason, the calendar oozes luxe with its line-up of British icons and timeless favourites. But if you’re on the lookout for buzzy, TikTok-trending beauty finds, this one leans more classic indulgence than viral discovery - although you will find Sol de Janeiro!
Pros & ConsPros- Mix of British beauty icons and modern favourites
- Chic lifestyle extras
- Packaging is recyclable
Cons- Not many trend-led or viral beauty picks
- Suited to luxury beauty lovers
28: Best Self-Care Beauty Advent Calendar:
- Status: Available now.
- Official launch: Available now.
- Price: £265.
- Worth: Over £165.
- Number of days: 24.
- Number of products: 24 (13 full-sized, 11 travel-sized).
- GLAMOUR's Highlight: Wild Rose Beauty Balm, Vitamin C Brightening Booster, Frankincense Intense™ Triple Action Melting Cleanser.
What's inside Neal’s Yards beauty advent calendar 2025?
Why we love it: Neal’s Yard Remedies is making December all about self-care with its most indulgent advent calendar yet. Worth over £385 and packed with 13 full-sized products, it’s basically a wellness retreat in a box.
Inside you’ll find icons like the Wild Rose Beauty Balm, Vitamin C Brightening Booster, Frankincense Intense™ favourites, a Goodnight Pillow Mist, and the cult Bee Lovely Hand Cream.
Housed in a William Morris Golden Lily print box, everything is vegetarian, cruelty-free and crafted with over 40 years of aromatherapy expertise. At £165, the 24 Days of Wonder is perfect for natural beauty lovers - or a well-deserved treat for yourself.
The downside… it’s very much Neal’s Yard through and through - perfect if you’re into aromatherapy, botanicals and wellness, but if you want variety or makeup moments, it may not be best for you.
Pros & ConsPros- 13 full-size products, including cult favourites
- 100% vegan and cruelty-free
- Perfect for natural beauty and aromatherapy fans
Cons- Leans heavily towards wellness and skincare
- Best suited to Neal’s Yard fans
29. Best Value Beauty Advent Calendar:
Status: Available now.

Price: £50.
Worth: Over £232.
Number of days: 25.
Number of products: 25.
GLAMOUR’s Highlight: Weleda Skin Food, Q+A, Cetaphil, Wild. What's inside Holland & Barrett’s beauty advent calendar 2025?
Why we love it: Holland & Barrett’s advent calendar is back for 2025, and it’s their best-value edit yet. Behind 25 doors you’ll find a mix of cult skincare, haircare heroes and wellness favourites that prove you don’t have to spend hundreds to get a genuinely good line-up.
While many of the products are still under wraps, we do know it includes some heavy-hitters like the iconic Weleda Skin Food (aka Hailey Bieber's favourite), hydrating heroes from Q+A and Cetaphil, plus a few wellness treats like Noughty’s Detox Dynamo and a beautifully-scented soap from Wild.
Design-wise, it’s not exactly going to knock your socks off - think simple, muted tones - but if you’re more fussed about what’s behind those doors than a pretty display, this is the calendar for you.
The downside… the packaging is pretty pared-back compared to the glitzy calendars on the market, and the line-up leans more ‘everyday essentials’ than luxe inclusions. But if you’re all about stripped-back skincare and great value - it’s a no-brainer.
Pros & ConsPros- Full of cult skincare and haircare staples
- One of the best affordable options out there
Cons- Simple packaging, not as luxe as others
- Everyday basics rather than luxe beauty
30. Best Beauty Advent Calendar For Brands:
Status: Available now.
Official launch: Available now.
Price: £250.
Worth: Over £1,000.
Number of days: 25.
Number of products: 33 (12 full-sized).
GLAMOUR’s Highlight: Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder, Charlotte Tilbury Collagen Lip Bath, Hourglass Mini Ambient Lighting Blush. What's inside Fenwick's beauty advent calendar 2025?
Why we love it: Deck your tree out with Fenwick’s dreamy beauty advent calendar - a box that’s as bright and stylish as the treats stashed inside. Behind each drawer? A well-thought out line-up of 33 products (12 of which are full size) - making it feel like a mini tour of Fenwick’s beauty hall.
Inside, you’ll find bestsellers from Charlotte Tilbury, NARS, Laura Mercier, Hourglass, Trinny London and Benefit; skincare classics from Dermalogica, Shiseido, Rodial and Sisley; and body and hair favourites from Rahua, Slip and Neal’s Yard Remedies. Fragrance gets its moment too, with spritzes from Juliette Has a Gun, Carolina Herrera, Miller Harris, Thameen, Mizensir and Parfums de Marly, plus finishing touches from OPI, Malin + Goetz and West Barn Co.
It’s that perfect balance of everyday staples and luxe surprises that make December feel a little more magical - and by the time January rolls around, you’ll have a beauty stash worth showing off.
The downside… with such a wide mix of categories, it can feel a little less curated than some of the single-focus calendars (like skincare-only edits). If you prefer sticking to one beauty lane, this might feel a little overwhelming.
Pros & ConsPros- Covers everything: skincare, makeup, fragrance, hair and body
- Mix of heritage icons and cult names
- Colourful packaging that feels festive
Cons- Broad mix of products means it’s less ‘curated’ than more focused calendars
- Expensive
31. Best Beauty Advent Calendar For Gifting:
Status: Available now.
Official launch: Available now.
Price: £330.
Worth: £330.
Number of days: 25.
Number of products: 25 (8 full-sized).
GLAMOUR’s Highlight: Clinique, Estée Lauder, Color Wow and Living Proof. What's inside M&S's beauty advent calendar 2025?
Why we love it: M&S’s beauty advent calendar is officially live, and as always, it’s a solid pick. The calendar is worth £330 - that’s £30 more than last year - and it’s filled with 25 products, eight of which are fill-sized. Inside you’ll find cult products like Clinique’s High Impact Mascara, Benefits Benetint, Weleda’s Skin Food and Estée Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair Serum to name a few - all housed in a chic starry gold and black box illustrated by Bella Freud.
The best part? If you’re a regular M&S shopper and spend £35 or more on full-price fashion, homeware or beauty - you can get the beauty advent calendar for £60. Honestly, we’ve not seen a better deal than this.
The downside… M&S tends to play it safe with more classic brands like Clinique, Estée Lauder and Nuxe. Great if you love your staples, but less exciting if you’re hoping for buzzy, new discoveries. That being said, we're impressed to see prodcuts like Color Wow's Dream Cocktail Thickening Treatment and Floral Street's Sweet Almond Blossom perfume included in the line-up.
Pros & ConsPros- Calendar is worth £30 more than last year
- Big-name, reliable brands like Clinique, Estée Lauder and Nuxe
- Always a strong all-rounder for gifting
Cons- Likely to lean on classic brands rather than trend-led launches
- Fewer full sizes compared to higher-priced calendars

GLAMOUR’s Highlight: Overnight Reset Serum, Almond Shower Oil, Shea Butter Hand Cream. What's inside the L’Occitane Luxury Advent Calendar 2025?
Why we love it: The L’Occitane Luxury Advent Calendar has officially landed, and it’s giving 24 days of pure Provençal delight. Behind each door you’ll find the brand’s most iconic bestsellers alongside a few new discoveries worth £276.50 altogether. One thing that's a little disappointing is that there's not a huge difference between its worth and the RRP, especially compared to other calendars on our list - but the amazing selection of products inside kind of makes up for it.
We’re talking skincare heroes like the Overnight Reset Serum and Divine Cream, body icons including the cult Almond Shower Oil and Supple Skin Oil, plus hand care favourites (yes, the Shea Butter Hand Cream is involved). There’s haircare too - the Gentle & Balance Shampoo and Conditioner - and even a few extras to set the mood, like the Cherry Blossom Eau de Toilette and a Relaxing Pillow Mist.
While the packaging isn’t as Christmassy as others on our list, the French brand has decided to honour its heritage by housing the products in a typical Provencal-style townhouse (in other words a mas Provençal) - and we’re kind of obsessed.
The downside… the worth vs RRP isn’t quite as impressive as some of the other luxury calendars, but with so many of L’Occitane’s cult favourites inside, it still feels like money well spent if you love the brand.
Pros & ConsPros- Includes cult bestsellers
- Chic Provençal townhouse packaging
- Covers skincare, body, handcare, hair and fragrance
Cons- Value not as high as some rival calendars
- Very brand-specific

GLAMOUR’s Highlight: La Mer, Beauty of Joseon, Sam McKnight, Charlotte Tilbury, Moschino, Tilly Sveaas. What's inside the Vogue advent calendar 2025?
Why we love it: If you can resist tearing it open early, the Vogue Festive Calendar 2025 promises 25 days of seriously luxe surprises that’ll make every morning feel like Christmas. Curated by Vogue editors, it goes beyond beauty with a line-up that spans across skincare, makeup, haircare, wellness, fashion and jewellery.
This year’s calendar blends icons like La Mer and Charlotte Tilbury with viral favourites such as Beauty of Joseon and Vieve, alongside wellness picks like the Therabody sleep mask and Verden pillow mist. The fashion and jewellery additions make it feel even more elevated, with a bespoke Tilly Sveaas mixed-metal necklace, a cosy Loop cashmere beanie and a Moschino charm that doubles as a bag accessory.
It’s one of the few advent calendars that truly combines beauty, fashion and wellness in one curated box - and we’re already obsessed.
The downside… at £355 it’s one of the priciest calendars on our list, but because it goes beyond beauty with designer accessories, fashion staples and bespoke jewellery, it really does feel like more of a full lifestyle edit – which makes the splurge easier to justify.
Pros & ConsPros- 29 full-size products (one of the most generous edits this year)
- Goes beyond beauty with wellness, fashion and jewellery extras
- Mix of beauty icons and viral favourites
Cons- Expensive

GLAMOUR’s Highlight: Charlotte Tilbury, Biodance, Sol de Janeiro, Mac, Beauty Works, Elemis, Caudalie, Nuxe. What's inside the ASOS beauty advent calendar 2025?
While ASOS might be your first stop for fashion, they’ve proven once again they know their way around a beauty line-up too. The ASOS Face + Body Advent Calendar 2025 is back, and at £98 it’s one of the most affordable options this year – without sacrificing the good stuff, of course.
Behind each door you’ll find a mix of viral heroes and everyday staples: from Sol de Janeiro’s cult Bum Bum Cream to a full-size Beauty Works Miracle Spray and Laura Mercier’s iconic setting powder. Other TikTok-approved favourites include e.l.f. Power Grip Primer, the ‘glass skin’ Biodance collagen mask, and a mini Elemis Superfood Midnight Facial Cream to keep your skin in check throughout the cold winter months.
The downside… while we love the line-up, it seems to be pretty similar to last year’s offering, so we would’ve loved to see more fresh launches make the cut, but for under £100 it’s still a brilliant way to stock up on tried-and-true favourites.
Pros & ConsPros- Great value
- Lots of viral bestsellers and K-beauty favourites
Cons- Similar line-up to last year
35: Best Beauty Advent Calendar For Anti-Ageing Products
Status: Available now.

GLAMOUR’s Highlight: No7 Pro Artist Luxe Liquid Blush, No7 Intense Volume Mascara, No7 Pro Artist Lip Shine Oil, No7 Radiance+ Vitamin C Daily Brightening Moisturiser, No7 Future Renew™ DAMAGE REVERSAL Night Serum. What's inside the No7 beauty advent calendar 2025?
Why we love it: No7’s Advent Calendar 2025 is here, and it’s always one of the fastest sell-outs. Priced at £60 and worth over £236, it’s great value compared to some of the other advent calendars out there, and it’s packed with 25 days of skincare and makeup favourites, including 10 full-size products.
Inside, you’ll find some of No7’s best-loved icons - from the brand’s No.1 best-selling serum and Future Renew skincare heroes to makeup staples like the Pro Artist Matte Muse Lipstick, Liquid Blush, and a glossy Lip Shine Oil. There’s also mascara, nail polish, eye pencils, and even a fluffy eyeshadow brush to perfect your application. Add in minis of cult skincare (think retinol, vitamin C and hydraluminous formulas) and you’ve basically got a complete routine tucked into one nifty calendar.
The downside… with its anti-ageing heavy focus, this definitely isn’t the pick for younger beauty fans. But, if you’re shopping for your mum, nan or anyone who swears by their serums, it’s an absolute must.
Pros & ConsPros- Great value
- Future Renew skincare heroes included
Cons- Heavily focused on anti-ageing skincare
36: Best Beauty Advent Calendar For Subscribes
Status: Available now.
Official launch: Available now.
Price: £90.

GLAMOUR’s Highlight: Medik8 Daily Refresh Balancing Toner, Iconic London, Morphe Setting Spray, Aveeno Skin Renewal Smoothing Cream, ESPA body lotion and wash. What's inside the GLOSSYBOX 2025 Advent Calendar 2025?
Why we love it: I’ve been a GLOSSYBOX subscriber for a while and always love the buzz of getting new products through my letterbox each month. Their 2025 advent calendar feels like that excitement multiplied – 25 doors, 27 products, and a line-up worth over £624 for under £100 (or £75 if you’re a subscriber).
Inside you’ll find favourites from Medik8, Aveeno and Iconic London, plus a wellness spin with brands like ESPA and Rituals. There are also some lesser-known names in the mix, which I think adds to the fun – it feels more like a discovery calendar than one that plays it too safe.
The downside… to get the best price you do need to be a subscriber (a one-month plan is £13.50), and a fair few of the products are travel-size, so if you’re only after full-size staples this might not be the one.
Pros & ConsPros- Great value
- Popular brands like Medik8, Aveeno, Iconic London
Cons- Have to be a subscriber to get the best price
- Mainly travel-sized prodcuts
37: Best Luxury Fragrance Advent Calendar:
- Status: Available now.
- Official launch: Available now.
- Price: £399.
- Worth: Undisclosed
- Number of days: 25
- Number of products: 25
- GLAMOUR’s Highlight: The exclusive Lilyphéa Eau de Parfum and Lunamaris Exclusive Eau de parfum - because nothing feels more special than scents you literally can’t get anywhere else.
What’s inside the Diptyque Advent Calendar 2025?
Why we love it: Ok, so this isn’t just a beauty advent calendar - it’s Diptyque, which means it’s basically an experience. Inspired by a Parisian bookshop, behind each of the 25 drawers you’ll find a little hit of luxury - from their famous candles to fragrance minis and beauty treats. It’s all wrapped in glimmering gold with dreamy illustrations that you’ll want to hang onto well past December.
The line-up is exactly what you’d hope for from Diptyque. Their cult candles - Baies, Roses and Feu de Bois - are all neatly tucked inside, plus a pine Sapin candle that smells like Christmas morning. There are two exclusive scents (Lilyphéa and Lunamaris) for fragrance lovers, as well as extras like hand cream, body lotion, satin oil and even tree decorations. Basically, it’s like a mini Diptyque boutique that can fit on your shelf - what a dream.
It’s the kind of calendar that makes every day of December feel special - whether you’re a candle collector or fragrance obsessed.
The downside… At £399 it’s very much a luxury purchase, and the treats are mostly minis rather than full sizes. But if you’re obsessed with everything Diptyque - it’s worth the splurge.
Pros & ConsPros- Exclusive scents that you can't get anywhere else
- Candles, fragrance and beauty
Cons- Expensive
- Mostly minis rather than full sizes
38. Best Luxury Fragrance Advent Calendar:
- Status: Available now.
- Price: £650.
- Worth: Not disclosed
- Number of days: 24
- Number of products: 24
- GLAMOUR’s Highlight: The full-size Blanche perfume worth £150 alone.
What’s inside the Byredo Advent Calendar 2025?
Why we love it: I’ve worn Gypsy Water as my “special” scent for years, so when I saw Byredo had launched its very first advent calendar I was already sold. And honestly, it doesn’t disappoint. It comes in a big three-tiered box that looks amazing on a shelf, but more importantly it’s the contents that got me excited.
There’s a full-size Blanche perfume (worth a big chunk of the price on its own), a Rose of No Man’s Land body wash, La Tulipe hand cream and a Tree House candle – basically all of Byredo’s bestsellers housed in a festive countdown. You also get a line-up of mini fragrances (ideal for nights out or slipping into stockings) plus a few extras like a Byredo compact mirror and hairbrush. It feels very much like stepping into the Byredo world and it’s 100% going on my wishlist.
The downside…At £650, it’s THE priciest calendar on our list - but it comes as no surprise seeing as a perfume alone costs £150. The line-up is impressive, but for the price, I’d expect even more full-sized products, rather than a tonne of minis which won’t last you past December. Also, while the hairbrush and mirror are nice additions, they feel more like fillers rather than products to get excited about.
Pros & ConsPros- Includes a full-size perfume (Blanche)
- Great mix of scents, candles, creams and little extras
- Byredo’s first ever calendar
Cons- Expensive
- Some products feel like fillers rather than must-haves
- 24 days not 25
39. Best Advent Calendar For Mature Skin:
- Price: £220.
- Worth: Not disclosed.
- Number of days: 24.
- Number of products: 24.
- GLAMOUR’s Highlight: Six full-size icons - including the Hypnôse Mascara and the Advanced Génifique Serum.
What’s inside the Lancôme Advent Calendar 2025?
Why we love it: Lancôme has always felt like home to me. My nana swore by their perfumes and skincare – her glowing skin was all the proof I needed. My mum still keeps the minis in her makeup bag, and I used to sneak her Hypnôse Mascara when I was little, playing dress-up in front of the mirror. Fast forward to now and it’s the mascara I wear every day, which makes this year’s advent calendar feel like a proper full-circle moment.
The design is gorgeous too - a pink suitcase-style box by French artist Safia Ouares that opens into a Parisian train station scene, complete with a grand clock. Inside, you get 24 surprises - six full-size heroes and 18 minis. Think Advanced Génifique, Rénergie creams, lipsticks, mascara and fragrance minis. Basically, your whole routine sorted, with the kind of products that have been passed down through generations.
The downside… At £220 it’s pricier than calendars like LookFantastic’s, which are crammed with viral beauty favourites. And while the line-up is gorgeous, it does lean more towards products loved by older skin types - so it might not be for everyo
Pros & ConsPros- Includes bestsellers like the Hypnôse Mascara and the Advanced Génifique Serum
- A good mix of skincare, makeup and fragrance
Cons- Mostly minis - 18 and 6 full-size
- Products lean more towards mature skin, so may not suit everyone
40: Best Beauty Advent Calendar For Luxe Miniatures
- Status: Available now.
- Price: £570.
- Worth: Undisclosed.
- Number of days: 24.
- Number of products: 24.
- GLAMOUR’s Highlight: Dior Addict Lip Glow, Dior Rosy Glow Blush, J’adore Eau de Parfum.
Why we love it: If there’s a brand that knows how to do luxury well it’s Dior - and the brand's 2025 calendar is living proof. Every drawer is packed with minis, but don’t worry - there’s a great mix of makeup, skincare, fragrance and even a few lifestyle treats.
For me, the stars have to be the Addict Lip Glow and Rosy Glow Blush - I love them both for elevating my daytime look. You’ll also get iconic fragrances like the J’adore Eau de Parfum, Sauvage and Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet - so you can layer, or mix up your scent depending on your mood. Skincare lovers aren’t left out either, with the brand’s Prestige La Crème, Capture Le Sérum and La Micro-Huile de Rose Activated Serum all making an appearance - ideal for giving your skincare shelf a boujie upgrade.
The downside… While we love Dior, it’s certainly not cheap - and with this calendar sitting at a hefty £570 for just miniatures, you’d have to be a real fan of the brand to want to splurge out.
Pros & ConsPros- Good mix of makeup, skincare and fragrance
- Contains brand's bestsellers
Cons- Expensive
- Only minatures - no full-size products
41: Best Candle Advent Calendar
- Status Available now.
- Official launch Available now.
- Price £490.
- Worth Not disclosed.
- Number of days 24 days.
- Number of products 24.
- GLAMOUR’s highlight The 12 travel-sized candles - each one inspired by a different destination.
What's inside the Baobab Advent Calendar 2025:
Why we love it: Baobab’s first-ever advent calendar is as chic as you’d expect. Shaped like a giant storybook - complete with illustrations that feel straight out of a Jules Verne novel - it opens up to reveal 24 little luxuries designed to take you on a fragrance-fuelled adventure around the world.
Inside, there are 12 mini candles, 6 hand creams and 6 full-size soaps, all scented with Baobab’s signature destination-inspired fragrances. The colourful glass vessels and candy-toned soaps are a delight to unwrap (and smell), and everything’s infused with baobab fruit extract to keep hands and skin soft through winter.
It even comes with a matching gift bag, which gives it that extra special touch - whether you’re treating someone else or firmly keeping it for yourself. It’s the perfect calendar for anyone who wants a wholesome countdown to Christmas.
The downside: All 12 candles are mini, and for £490 we’d love to have seen at least one full-sized one in the mix.
Pros & ConsPros- Great for candle lovers
- A good mix of lifestyle and skincare products
- Comes with a matching gift bag
Cons- Expensive
- Candle-focused calendar - not the best for beauty lovers
What were the best beauty advent calendars last year?
The Glamour team's top-rated beauty advent calendars last year were the Sephora advent calendar – adored for its value for money, and selection of cult brands we'd actually been wanting to try for time – while the most popular advent calendar among GLAMOUR readers in 2024 was, surprisingly, the NEXT Beauty Advent Calendar. It was reduced to £81 at its most affordable and was worth over £380; more than 300 of you placed orders as a result.
Outside of that? We loved the Harvey Nichols, Cult Beauty and Space NK calendars – as well as those by Marks and Spencer, Liberty and Selfridges. The reason they came out on top? Each contained a healthy mix of skincare, makeup, and beauty tools, including a host of viral buys and essentials we were already desperately in need of top-ups of.
When do beauty advent calendars go on sale in 2025?
Most of this year’s calendars have been live since early July - yes, really. The drop dates keep creeping earlier every year, and at this point, the post-summer advent calendar rush is basically an annual event. NEOM and SpaceNK's calendars have already sold out, and plenty of others are close behind.
Liberty led the charge again with early access for Beauty Drop subscribers back in July, followed quickly by Cult Beauty, Harrods (who’ve launched three new calendars this year), and LookFantastic. Our advice? If you’ve got your eye on one, join the waitlists, set your alarms and don’t hang around. The best calendars always go first - and the earlier you shop, the better your chances of bagging a good one.
Who has the best beauty advent calendar?
Most big beauty brands now have beauty advent calendars each year. Seriously: name a big-name and they've probably released a Christmas countdown packed with their bestselling products – from conditioners to eyeshadow, lip balm, eyeliner and body lotion. But that doesn't mean they're all good.
This year, expect worth-your-money beauty advent calendars from The White Company, Cult Beauty, Sephora, Charlotte Tilbury, Dr Barbara Sturm, LookFantastic, John Lewis, L’Occitane, Space NK, La Prairie and Liberty London. And outside of beauty, take note of jewellery advent calendars, non-chocolate advent calendars, gin advent calendars, wine advent calendars and sex toy advent calendars, too.
Which beauty advent calendar offers the best value for money?
Of the beauty advent calendars that have launched so far this year, the one with the highest worth is Liberty’s. It’s worth a whopping £1,245 - and includes 30 iconic beauty finds (including 20 full size), plus a unique Ianthe print drawstring bag. All for £275. Whew.
Are beauty advent calendars worth it?
Honestly? Yes - if you pick the right one. The good ones (and there are tonnes on our list) offer serious value for money. Take the LookFantastic Beauty Advent Calendar - it costs £105 but packs in 28 products worth over £655, including 17 full-sized icons from brands like Sol de Janeiro and Medik8. You’re basically getting an entire beauty routine for the price of one fancy serum.
Then there are the luxe options, like Harvey Nichols’ Beauty Advent Calendar, which is £250 but includes heavy hitters like La Mer’s Renewal Oil - that’s £120 on its own - plus Augustinus Bader, La Prairie and Trinny London. It’s actually a no-brainer if you’re into luxury icons.
Of course, not every calendar is great value for money - some are more about the unboxing moment than what’s actually inside. But if you do your homework (or, let’s be real, let us do it for you), the right beauty advent calendar can save you hundreds and keep your top shelf stocked well into the new year.
Why are beauty advent calendars released so early?
Mostly, it’s down to demand. Over the years, beauty advent calendars have become the ultimate gift for beauty lovers - and the good ones (hi, Liberty, LookFantastic, Cult Beauty) sell out fast. Space NK’s has already gone! Brands have started dropping them earlier than ever this year — some as early as August - just to get ahead of the rush.
It’s also a smart retail move. The beauty advent calendar market has exploded, and launching early gives brands more time to build buzz, restock, and, let’s be honest, dominate your social feeds. Yep, it feels a little wild to be talking tinsel mid-summer, but in the beauty world, Christmas basically starts the minute the first advent calendar lands.
