My favourite product is the Merit Beauty Flush Balm Cream Blush in Cheeky. Why we love it: I’ll be honest - I still haven’t nailed down my signature scent, and there are only so many duty-free minis a girl can swipe before giving up. Thankfully Harvey Nichols’ 12 Days of Fragrance Advent Calendar is back for its second year - allowing me to road-test 20 olfactive heroes in a range of full size, travel size and deluxe miniatures.

Brand-wise, cue treats from cult-favourites including Creed, Escentric Molecules Molecule 01 (a personal fave of Glamour's Commerce Beauty Writer, Shani Cohen) and Kilian, as well as newer names such as Xerjoff, Matière Première, Frederic Malle, D.S & DURGA and Trudon.

But, most importantly - let's talk about the line-up. Featuring 34 expertly curated beauty icons (including 20 fill size favourites), we can safely say it's the brand's best advent calendar to date. Our favourite picks? The Patrick Ta Major Headlines Double-Take Creme and Powder Blush Duo, which now has a permanent spot in my handbag, due to its cherry hue and insane staying power. Why we love it: Selfridges has officially launched its Beauty Advent Calendar for 2025 - and it’s safe to say this one’s going to be popular.The packaging hasn’t had a major refresh, but what’s inside has seriously levelled up. This year’s edit includes 37 products in total, 24 of them full size - compared to 22 last year - all while keeping the same £250 price tag. That’s why we’ve crowned it most improved for 2025.

Some of my personal highlights? The Refy Duo Brush - which is genuinely the only brush I use for foundation, bronzer and pretty much everything in between. A Jo Malone London English Pear & Freesia Cologne (iconic), and a full-size Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray that I always keep in my handbag. Plus, viral favourites like the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask in Berry and Gisou Honey Infused Hair Oil make an appearance, alongside luxe staples like the full-size UKLash Complex Peptide Lash Serum and my ride-or-die Murad Cellular Hydration Barrier Repair Mask.

For now, let’s focus on the main event: the Harrods Beauty Advent Calendar 2025. Inside you’ll find 32 premium products, 14 of them full size, making it feel less like a festive countdown and more like a curated edit of global beauty favourites.

Some standouts for me? The Rodial Bronze Glowlighter and Frosted Pink Blush Drops - perfect if you’re embracing the blush-blindness trend. Why we love it: For the past three years, the LookFantastic Advent Calendar has been one of the most popular among GLAMOUR readers - and honestly, I’m not surprised. It’s become such a fixture that it’s now officially the UK’s #1 selling beauty product in e-commerce, according to NielsenIQ. In other words, it’s kind of a big deal.

This year is extra special, as LF is celebrating its 10-year anniversary with not just one, but three calendars: the OG Beauty Calendar, plus a new Grooming Calendar and a Fragrance Calendar. The Beauty Calendar alone packs 28 products worth over £655 for just £105, which is hands-down one of the best value edits out there. Some of my favourite picks? The full-size Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 62 Perfume Mist, a cosy White Company Seychelles Candle, and the Medik8 Hydra B5 Intense - a serum my skin laps up when it’s at its driest. Yep, Audrey Hepburn because, fun fact, the Elasticizer Deep Conditioning Treatment was originally invented specifically for the Breakfast at Tiffany's star.

In terms of specific products, you can expect a travel-friendly Brazilian Bum Bum Cream and a full-size bottle of Rodial's Soft Focus Glow Booster Drops which deliver a‘from-within’ glow within seconds. Including the latter, we know that 20 of the products are full-sized: one of the highest mini to maxi ratios of any 2025 calendar so far. And a select 50 calendars will also house a Harvey Nichols Gift Card worth £50, allowing you to grow your haul further. Win-win-win…

After a little teasing, Charlotte has finally revealed the full line-up, and the Beauty Treasure Chest is officially on sale.

Housed in a sparkling gold chest with 12 drawers, it includes icons like the Magic Cream moisturiser, Pillow Talk Matte Revolution Lipstick, Exagger-Eyes Volume Mascara, Charlotte's Magic Serum Crystal Elixir and the viral Pillow Talk Beauty Light Wand. The downside…while we’re huge CT fans, we can safely say it’s not the best value calendar out there. Despite it being smaller than other luxe options, if all you wear is Charlotte Tilbury, this one is for you.

Why we love it The Space NK Beauty Advent Calendar 2025 sold out in record time – and honestly, it’s not hard to see why. Worth over £1,150, it was packed with 35 products, including 29 full-size (three more than last year). The box itself was bold and colourful, but it was the line-up that really delivered.

Highlights included K18’s Molecular Repair Hair Oil (a Kim Kardashian favourite), Tatcha’s Brightening Serum, Milk Makeup’s Hydro Grip Setting Spray and must-haves from Westman Atelier, Naturium, Medik8 and Lisa Eldridge.

There are three sets of eye patches from the Snake, Bee Venom and Dragon’s Blood ranges - the ultimate quick fix for tired December eyes. You’ll also get a Cherry Lip Oil that’s hydrating and glossy, plus a full-size Dragon’s Blood Cleansing Water to keep skin fresh. Expect heavy-hitters like The Enzyme Cleanser, Hyaluronic Serum, The Better B Niacinamide Serum and those limited-edition Glow Drops that have already made their way into my daily rotation.

What makes it stand out this year are the smaller, considered touches - the headband, the eye patches, and yes, the festive cookie cutter and recipe. The addition of the Men’s Face Cream makes it feel more inclusive too - the perfect gift for him if you're willing to share.

Why we love it: No7’s Advent Calendar 2025 is here, and it’s always one of the fastest sell-outs. Priced at £60 and worth over £236, it’s great value compared to some of the other advent calendars out there, and it’s packed with 25 days of skincare and makeup favourites, including 10 full-size products.

Inside, you’ll find some of No7’s best-loved icons - from the brand’s No.1 best-selling serum and Future Renew skincare heroes to makeup staples like the Pro Artist Matte Muse Lipstick, Liquid Blush, and a glossy Lip Shine Oil. There’s also mascara, nail polish, eye pencils, and even a fluffy eyeshadow brush to perfect your application. Add in minis of cult skincare (think retinol, vitamin C and hydraluminous formulas) and you’ve basically got a complete routine tucked into one nifty calendar.

Why we love it: I’ve been a GLOSSYBOX subscriber for a while and always love the buzz of getting new products through my letterbox each month. Their 2025 advent calendar feels like that excitement multiplied – 25 doors, 27 products, and a line-up worth over £624 for under £100 (or £75 if you’re a subscriber).

Inside you’ll find favourites from Medik8, Aveeno and Iconic London, plus a wellness spin with brands like ESPA and Rituals. There are also some lesser-known names in the mix, which I think adds to the fun – it feels more like a discovery calendar than one that plays it too safe.

The downside… to get the best price you do need to be a subscriber (a one-month plan is £13.50), and a fair few of the products are travel-size, so if you’re only after full-size staples this might not be the one.

What’s inside the Diptyque Advent Calendar 2025?

Why we love it: Ok, so this isn’t just a beauty advent calendar - it’s Diptyque, which means it’s basically an experience. Inspired by a Parisian bookshop, behind each of the 25 drawers you’ll find a little hit of luxury - from their famous candles to fragrance minis and beauty treats. It’s all wrapped in glimmering gold with dreamy illustrations that you’ll want to hang onto well past December.

The line-up is exactly what you’d hope for from Diptyque. Their cult candles - Baies, Roses and Feu de Bois - are all neatly tucked inside, plus a pine Sapin candle that smells like Christmas morning. There are two exclusive scents (Lilyphéa and Lunamaris) for fragrance lovers, as well as extras like hand cream, body lotion, satin oil and even tree decorations. Basically, it’s like a mini Diptyque boutique that can fit on your shelf - what a dream.

It’s the kind of calendar that makes every day of December feel special - whether you’re a candle collector or fragrance obsessed.

The downside… At £399 it’s very much a luxury purchase, and the treats are mostly minis rather than full sizes. But if you’re obsessed with everything Diptyque - it’s worth the splurge.

What’s inside the Byredo Advent Calendar 2025?

Why we love it: I’ve worn Gypsy Water as my “special” scent for years, so when I saw Byredo had launched its very first advent calendar I was already sold. And honestly, it doesn’t disappoint. It comes in a big three-tiered box that looks amazing on a shelf, but more importantly it’s the contents that got me excited.

There’s a full-size Blanche perfume (worth a big chunk of the price on its own), a Rose of No Man’s Land body wash, La Tulipe hand cream and a Tree House candle – basically all of Byredo’s bestsellers housed in a festive countdown. You also get a line-up of mini fragrances (ideal for nights out or slipping into stockings) plus a few extras like a Byredo compact mirror and hairbrush. It feels very much like stepping into the Byredo world and it’s 100% going on my wishlist.

The downside…At £650, it’s THE priciest calendar on our list - but it comes as no surprise seeing as a perfume alone costs £150. The line-up is impressive, but for the price, I’d expect even more full-sized products, rather than a tonne of minis which won’t last you past December. Also, while the hairbrush and mirror are nice additions, they feel more like fillers rather than products to get excited about.

Why we love it: Lancôme has always felt like home to me. My nana swore by their perfumes and skincare – her glowing skin was all the proof I needed. My mum still keeps the minis in her makeup bag, and I used to sneak her Hypnôse Mascara when I was little, playing dress-up in front of the mirror. Fast forward to now and it’s the mascara I wear every day, which makes this year’s advent calendar feel like a proper full-circle moment.

The design is gorgeous too - a pink suitcase-style box by French artist Safia Ouares that opens into a Parisian train station scene, complete with a grand clock. Inside, you get 24 surprises - six full-size heroes and 18 minis. Think Advanced Génifique, Rénergie creams, lipsticks, mascara and fragrance minis. Basically, your whole routine sorted, with the kind of products that have been passed down through generations.

The downside… At £220 it’s pricier than calendars like LookFantastic’s, which are crammed with viral beauty favourites. And while the line-up is gorgeous, it does lean more towards products loved by older skin types - so it might not be for everyo

Why we love it: If there’s a brand that knows how to do luxury well it’s Dior - and the brand's 2025 calendar is living proof. Every drawer is packed with minis, but don’t worry - there’s a great mix of makeup, skincare, fragrance and even a few lifestyle treats.

For me, the stars have to be the Addict Lip Glow and Rosy Glow Blush - I love them both for elevating my daytime look. You’ll also get iconic fragrances like the J’adore Eau de Parfum, Sauvage and Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet - so you can layer, or mix up your scent depending on your mood. Skincare lovers aren’t left out either, with the brand’s Prestige La Crème, Capture Le Sérum and La Micro-Huile de Rose Activated Serum all making an appearance - ideal for giving your skincare shelf a boujie upgrade.

The downside… While we love Dior, it’s certainly not cheap - and with this calendar sitting at a hefty £570 for just miniatures, you’d have to be a real fan of the brand to want to splurge out.

Why we love it: Baobab’s first-ever advent calendar is as chic as you’d expect. Shaped like a giant storybook - complete with illustrations that feel straight out of a Jules Verne novel - it opens up to reveal 24 little luxuries designed to take you on a fragrance-fuelled adventure around the world.

Inside, there are 12 mini candles, 6 hand creams and 6 full-size soaps, all scented with Baobab’s signature destination-inspired fragrances. The colourful glass vessels and candy-toned soaps are a delight to unwrap (and smell), and everything’s infused with baobab fruit extract to keep hands and skin soft through winter.

It even comes with a matching gift bag, which gives it that extra special touch - whether you’re treating someone else or firmly keeping it for yourself. It’s the perfect calendar for anyone who wants a wholesome countdown to Christmas.

The downside: All 12 candles are mini, and for £490 we’d love to have seen at least one full-sized one in the mix.
