Chances are, you’ve heard a thing or two on social media about the best Sol de Janeiro scents. I’m here to tell you that the hype is very real. As the days remain shorter-than-preferred, so does our need for scents that can serve up beach-side holiday vibes. Enter: Sol de Janeiro perfume mists – a wardrobe of summery scents that provide the best kind of sun-drenched comfort all year round. No surprises there – the brand is literally named after the “Sun of January” (AKA when the sun is at its peak during summer in Brazil).
The brand is renowned for their limited-edition body mists and the TikTok-viral Brazilian Bum Bum cream, which has been a long-standing favourite of mine. “I’ll put this Sol de Janeiro perfume on when I’m headed to work at 9 a.m. in the morning. By the time I’m wrapping up and heading to dinner around 7 p.m., I’ll still be able to smell it. It’s mind-blowing,” says Kilkeary. It’s also a favourite of GLAMOUR US' Calle. “After using the brand’s body mists, I gave the perfume a shot and it’s just as good. It’s not overpowering, and I can layer it with other scents.”

On those days where I need a little pick-me-up, this is the mood-boosting scent I reach for,” she says.
