Beauty obsessives, rejoice: the Cult Beauty Advent Calendar 2025 has officially landed - and yes, it’s every bit as impressive as you’d expect. Christmas might feel far off, but in beauty land the countdown starts now. The best beauty advent calendars (like this one) are known to sell out at lightning speed, so if you want one, it’s worth getting in quick before they disappear from your basket.
Cult Beauty’s calendars have become a festive staple over the past five years, and with good reason. They’ve sold out every single year, built up a loyal following, and regularly spark waiting lists of thousands. Last year’s editions featured some of the industry’s most in-demand names - from Augustinus Bader and Charlotte Tilbury to Summer Fridays and Sol de Janeiro - and this year’s lineup is even more stacked.
For 2025, the online beauty destination is spoiling us with two editions. The Classic Curation (£240, worth over £1,100) is home to 34 products, 20 of them full-size, spanning skincare, makeup, haircare and body care. I’ve unboxed it already, and can confirm it’s overflowing with cult favourites and exciting new launches. Then there’s the Limited-Edition Curation (£240, worth over £1,200), which takes things up a notch with 40 products and a stronger fragrance edit for those who love switching up their scent on a reg.
Plus, three lucky calendars come with a £1,000 Cult Beauty credit hidden inside (it's giving Willy Wonka but I'd take a beauty spree over chocolate any day). This year, the packaging has also been given an arty refresh by Quentin Jones, making it a calendar you’ll want to display (and reuse) long after December.
How we test:
At GLAMOUR, we don’t just copy and paste product lineups - we actually get hands-on. For the Classic Curation, our beauty team unboxed the calendar in full (yes, we opened every single drawer, and yes, it felt like Christmas morning). We looked at everything from the mix of categories (skincare, makeup, haircare, body) to the balance of full-size versus deluxe minis, and whether the value really stacks up to Cult Beauty’s claims.
The verdict? Honestly, this could be one of the best beauty advent calendars on the market based on the brands alone. It features so many of my personal favourites, plus a handful of newcomers that have me hooked already. The Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand has been a staple in my makeup bag for years, while the Saie Radiant Blush is my latest obsession - recently featuring in my best Sephora top picks. Then there’s Augustinus Bader, which speaks for itself in terms of luxury skincare, and the Gisou Lip Oil, another newbie that’s quickly become a handbag essential.
One thing that confused me slightly is that both calendars retail for the same amount - despite the Limited-Edition version including six extra products, which technically makes it better value. And while I do love the bold purple design of the box, it doesn’t exactly give me festive vibes.
