I'll be the first to admit that I have particular tastes, so the safest way to buy me jewels for Christmas? Invest in a jewellery Advent calendar. Offering multiple chances to impress, they're packed with sparkly keepsakes such as gemstone rings, rose gold hoop earrings, gold-plated chain necklaces and sterling silver charm bracelets.

Because gone are the days when chocolate advent calendars were the only way to get yourself in the mood for the big day (read: December 25th). And while the best beauty advent calendars and sex toy advent calendars remain popular alternatives, the advent calendars packed by our favourite jewellery brands serve up something altogether more enduring.

Just remember that as we edge into December — just over 30 days to go, people — the most sought-after offerings (Missoma and Astrid & Miyu, we're looking at you), are set to sell out sharpish.

Thankfully, to help you get to the checkout quicker, I've opened a host of jewellery advent calendars that have landed in the Glamour fashion cupboard this festive season in a bid to crown the very best. Here, you can watch us open them, read about their contents, and shop my favourite festive gift boxes while they're still in stock.

How I test jewellery advent calendars:

From as early as August, this year's jewellery advent calendar releases have been landing in the GLAMOUR office – as they did for the three years prior. I'm hard to please, and not every jewellery advent calendar I saw made it into this edit. The ones that did? They scored highly when it came to assessing the quality of the jewellery, its durability, value-for-money and variety inside.

I offered bonus points for calendars which offer treats like gift cards and vouchers to spend on whatever you like, free delivery, and calendars which come in reusable or recyclable packaging. Rest assured, the alternative advent calendars listed below are worthy of your money (and a great Christmas gift for your loved ones).

Why you can trust me:

I've been reviewing beauty, fashion and wellness products for the past eight years – for two years in previous jobs, and for six years at Glamour. During that time, I've not only witnessed the rise of non-edible Advent calendars from their infancy, but have seen an array of other trends come and go. I've attended press days, interviewed shopping experts, jewellery designers and brand founders – plus I've personally tested hundreds of products. As such, I know more about brands, new releases and which alternative Advent calendars are worth your money than your average accessories fan.

FYI, when reviewing jewellery and Advent calendars, I consider them against the following criteria:

DesignIs it practical, fit for purpose and, of course, aesthetic?
Price pointWould I be willing to spend that much? Is it good quality?
DeliveryHow quickly did it arrive, and what were the associated costs?
GiftabilityWould this make a suitable birthday or Christmas gift? Is it something the recipient actually wants, needs or would enjoy?

Ahead, the best jewellery advent calendars 2025 to add to your checkout.

1. Best Jewellery Advent Calendar Overall: Astrid & Miyu 24 Day Advent Calendar

Astrid & Miyu 24 Day Advent Calendar

ICYMI, Korean-born Astrid and Miyu was founded back in 2023 by Connie Nam; the brand quickly became adored among the fashion crowd for their stackable earrings, huggies, birthstone jewellery, initial necklaces and dainty rings at accessible prices.

After a few years cementing themselves as Instagram's starring jewellery brand, they introduced ear piercing, tattooing, welding and engraving into their UK stores (which are located all across London and Manchester, FYI) – and in 2021, they launched their first Astrid and Miyu advent calendar. It was designed with twelve boxes housing hoops, studs and other gorgeous pieces of jewellery. Plus, a £50 Astrid and Miyu voucher, which you could spend in-store or online. Epic.

They've released advent calendars every year since, which brings us to 2025. Astrid & Miyu are dropping not one, not two, but three jewellery advent calendars this December – their 24-Day advent calendar is the star of the show.

We noted how expensive it is, sure. At £695, it's certainly at the upper end of the price spectrum. But we did note that the value for money is excellent. As is the fact that you'll get a treat every day until Christmas Eve (rare, in the jewellery calendar world). The calendar is worth a staggering £1,655, and it contains 23 (!) exclusive-to-the-calendar jewels. There's a £50 voucher housed behind one of the doors, which we loved, as it offers discounts on welding as well as other special A&M services – and there are re-gifting stickers inside in case you want to pass any of the jewellery onto friends and family. Lastly, we noted that the calendar comes in a reusable jewellery box, which, unlike others, we'd actually be proud of putting on display in our bedrooms. Top marks, A&M.

Even better news: the brand has launched its Black Friday sale early, offering 25% off nearly everything. For those seeking out a suitable gift for their wife, sister or best friend, this is where to head for low risk and high reward (AKA verbal praise).

2. The Runner Up: Missoma Gold Advent Calendars

Missoma Gold Jewellery Advent Calendar

Why we love it: When whispers of jewellery advent calendars start circulating around the GLAMOUR office, there's always one release – or three, if we're been punctilious – which comes out the most hotly anticipated. And that's the Missoma advent calendar.

The celeb-adored jewellery brand counts Kate MiddletonKendall Jenner and Taylor Swift as fans, and they're pioneers of demi-fine jewellery. Their entire ethos is about inspiring confidence and championing self-expression through their responsibly sourced designs (which are crafted in their Notting Hill studios, FYI) – obviously, an ethos we can get behind – and their designs last a lifetime.

For the past two years, Missoma has dropped three advent calendars which make killer gifts for women – a gold, a silver and a fine jewellery calendar. Last year's iterations were upgrades on 2023's, embossed with large mirrors and adorned in illustrations of Missoma’s signature emblems. Shroomie to Heart Warmer included.

This year, their gold jewellery advent calendar is our favourite overall. It features 11 pieces of jewellery, worth a total of £928 (that's a saving of £433 (!), or 47% – and a worth total of more than £100 greater than last year), and there are three exclusive, limited-edition styles. Read: the Tennis Beaded Stone Chain Bracelet, Opalite Pendant Cord Necklace and Tennis Beaded Mini Hoops. Alongside these, there are many other bestsellers you've probably had your eyes on for ages – from the Lucy Williams Malachite Choker to the Harris Reed In Good Hands Pearl Bracelet and Double Chain Bracelet. Oh, and to complete the 12-door-set, each calendar comes with a £50 gift card to spend on whatever you’d like in store or online. So. Good.

3. Best For Dainty Jewels: Astley Clarke Advent Calendar

Astley Clarke Advent Calendar 2025

Astley Clarke is a new addition to our jewellery advent calendars round-up for 2025. Not only because this is their first ever advent calendar, but TBH, in previous years, they weren't a jewellery brand on my radar.

I was introduced by a friend earlier in the summer – noting that they have over 10,000 five-star reviews against their beautiful bestsellers (I love these mixed-metal Celestial Earrings) – and quickly became obsessed with their ethos of committing to using only the best natural materials that will make you feel as good on the inside as they look on the outside. No brass, no glass, no glue.

Their jewellery advent calendar is wonderful: you can really tell that they've put care, thought and love into curating a collection which captures the spirit of gifting. We noted that the calendar is perfect for those who love dainty jewellery. While other brands in this edit stock lots of chunky, trend-led pieces, AC have a focus on dainty, everyday jewels that feel a little more traditional.

Every one of the 12 pieces of jewellery in this calendar are crafted from 18ct Gold Vermeil or Sterling Silver, from sparkling huggies to a beautiful multi-gemstone bracelet. But the main reason we had to include the brand? Behind one of the doors is a Gold Biography Chain Locket Bracelet, which can not only be engraved with initials for free upon ordering, but also has space for a photograph of your choice inside. The photo inclusion is such a special touch, and one not offered by any other brand in this round-up.

4. Best Silver Jewellery Advent Calendar: Missoma Silver Advent Calendar

Missoma Silver Jewellery Advent Calendar

Missoma does silver jewellery so well. I've always been a gold jewellery girl – but as I start to experiment with mixed metal styling (I love when my colleagues layer their gold necklaces with a dainty silver chain), Missoma is the brand I am making a beeline for.

Whether you're experimenting or you're already a cool-toned lover, this year's Missoma silver jewellery calendar includes £822 worth of silver jewellery (this is £100 more than last year and serves a saving of £357 or 43% against retail prices).

Inside, there are four exclusive limited edition styles that can't be found anywhere else – as well as a selection of bestsellers, and a £50 gift card to spend on Missoma.com, in one of our Missoma stores or on Welding or Piercing experiences.

5. Best Solid Gold Jewellery Advent Calendar: Astrid & Miyu Solid Gold Advent Calendar

Astrid & Miyu Solid Gold Advent Calendar

I know what you're thinking: who is spending over £1,000 on an advent calendar? You'd be surprised. The Astrid & Miyu Solid Gold jewellery advent calendar sells out every year, so although I am well aware £1,350 is a huge and – for most – unattainable expense, I wanted to include it in the line-up for those who have a little more to spend.

Astrid & Miyu describe this calendar as the “most golden calendar of the year," – containing five exclusive pieces of 14k yellow gold jewellery which are adorned with Lab-Grown Diamonds and Alexandrite Gemstones. While the cost is high, these five pieces – are worth over £1,800 combined, and they've been chosen to remain in your jewellery collection forever. I noted that they're totally timeless, rather than being trend-led – from beautiful, dainty earrings that are perfect for weddings and events, to a teardrop necklace with a trio of diamonds taking centre stage. This calendar is special.

6. Best Gold-Plated Jewellery Advent Calendar: Joma 12 Days of Sparkle (Gold)

12 Days Of Sparkle Advent Calendar in Gold Plating

Pros & Cons
Pros
  • Very good value for money.
  • Comes housed in a reusable jewellery box.
  • Two pieces can be personalised.
Cons
  • The jewellery is gold-plated, so won't be as enduring as solid gold.

Why we love it: Joma Jewellery has long been one of GLAMOUR's favourite affordable jewellery brands, founded and creatively directed by Katie Loxton – and built on the premise that everyone should be able to build a collection of beautiful jewels that remind them of poignant times in their life. Be that a birthday, anniversary or engagement.

This Christmas, the brand has released two “12 Days of Sparkle" advent calendars – one in silver, and one in gold – following on from sell-out releases in 2023 and 2024.

Worth up to £300 but yours for less than £180, this gold jewellery advent calendar contains a collection of 12 carefully-curated pieces of jewellery that'll help you build up beautiful, layered looks. There's a nice mixture of gold-plated bracelets, necklaces, and earrings inside – and the bracelets behind doors one and 12 can be personalised with your loved one's name and handpicked charms. You can even add monogrammed initials to the pouch that the day twelve bracelet comes in.

It's also worth noting that the box itself is a vegan leather, buttercream jewellery box, which completely flattens out so that you can repurpose it as a display tray once December is over.

7. Best Six Day Jewellery Advent Calendar: Joma 6 Days of Sparkle (Silver)

6 Days Of Sparkle Advent Calendar in Silver Plating

Pros & Cons
Pros
  • Comes in a reusable box.
  • One piece of jewellery can be personalised.
Cons
  • Only six pieces of jewellery included.

Why we love it: You're now familiar with the brand – but how is Joma Jewellery's Silver Plating advent calendar different to their gold edition?

First and foremost, the gold calendar contains 12 pieces of jewellery – while the silver jewellery advent calendar is home to just six pieces of jewellery. Only half the product, yes, but it does come in under £85, which is amazing value – and there's a welcome mix of silver-plated bracelets, necklaces, and earrings inside. As with the gold jewellery calendar, you can still add an extra-special touch to the bracelet behind door six, by personalising it with your loved one's name and handpicked charms. You can also reuse the beautiful jewellery box which the six pieces of silver jewellery come in.

8. Best For Gifting: Edge of Ember Jewellery Advent Calendar

Edge of Ember Advent Calendar

Edge of Ember is a London-based, ethical jewellery brand who count Kate Middleton and Claudia Winkelman as brand fans. I, personally, first became a fan when they collabed with Victoria Magrath – or In The FROW, as you may otherwise know the influencer – on a beautiful, sell-out jewellery collection. And they've been a brand I've looked to for new pieces ever since.

Inspired by her travels around Asia, Lynette Ong the founder quit her finance job and launched the demi-fine jewellery brand Edge of Ember back in 2014 – and today, their advent calendar is one of their biggest releases of every year. For 2025, the brand is releasing a 12-day advent calendar which caught my eye due to its stellar packaging. Each of the 12 pieces of jewellery come housed in a teal, velvet jewellery box which actually looks like a jewellery box. I'm well-aware that while most jewellery advent calendars state their their packaging is reusable, it looks too much like an advent calendar to actually, well, reuse. Not here. The Edge of Ember box is a beautiful addition to any bedside table or dressing cabinet – and the jewels inside a beautiful addition to your AW outfits.

9. Best Value Jewellery Advent Calendar: Estella Bartlett Jewellery Advent Calendar

Estella Bartlett Jewellery Advent Calendar 2025

Pros & Cons
Pros
  • Beautiful gift box.
  • Good value.
  • Great for unpierced ears, as the brand don't usually feature many earrings.
Cons
  • TBD, we're not allowed to disclose too many details yet!

Why we love it: You may know Estella Bartlett for its delicate charm bracelets, each paired with an empowering or endearing message, but the brand has turned its hand to jewellery advent calendars, too, over recent years. And the results stand up against their competition.

In last year's Estella Bartlett gold jewellery advent calendar, she could find a dozen dinky — and by that, we mean fine jewellery — treats, including Triple Star Drop Necklace, Green Cat Eye Double Necklace, Star CZ Paper Link T-Bar Necklace, Pave Mini Heart Necklace, Fine CZ Tennis Bracelet, Gemstone Amelia Bracelet and one festive exclusive.

This year, we're expecting an equally beautiful advent calendar – another one which is great for unpierced ears, we hope – though details are currently few and few between. We'd recommend that you sign up to the waitlist to be the first to get them.

10. Best Luxury Jewellery Advent Calendar: Grove & Vae Jewellery Advent Calendar

12 Days of Grove & Vae Advent Calendar

Pros & Cons
Pros
  • Features one of the brand's new collection bracelets.
  • Unique pieces you won't see anyone else wearing.
Cons
  • Very expensive.

Why we love it: Grove & Vae is a London-based jewellery brand specialising in precious metals at an affordable price point. All of their pieces are expertly made in their British studio with the finest 14k gold vermeil and rhodium-plated sterling silver to ensure durability and long-lasting joy.

As was the case for the past two years, they've released a beautiful jewellery advent calendar for 2025, the perfect jewellery gift for the magpie in your life. Each calendar contains the brand's new charm collection bracelets, and bestselling signature bracelet.

The only downside? Last year, the calendar retailed at just short of £400, so it's definitely one of the more expensive on the market.

11. Best Jewellery Advent Calendar For Teens: Accessorize Jewellery Advent Calendar

24 Days of Accessorize Christmas Advent Calendar

Every year, I include the Accessorize advent calendar in our round-up of the best jewellery advent calendars, because it's so affordable and a stellar gift for teenage girls. Knowing what to buy for teens is tricky, but if their birthday is in October, November or December and they love getting glam, this. Is. It.

Accessorize has released two advent calendars for 2025 – this one and a 12-day offering – but we've included the 24-day calendar only due to its amazing value for money. It retails for £45 but is worth £96, and contains a range of gold-tone earrings, bracelets and necklaces with fun, on-trend motifs. There are also a few hair accessories thrown in for good measure. So cute.
