A hot new bombshell is about to enter the villa… or actually, make that a dozen bombshells.

We’re still reeling from the chaos of Love Island: All Stars, only to discover that Love Island summer edition is just weeks away. Yep, our hot singles are about to head into the villa to pull each other for chats, play a bit of Truth or Dare, and cause maximum mayhem, tears, and recouplings nobody asked for but absolutely need.

Unlike the All Stars edition, the islanders for Love Island series 13 will be brand new faces — unknowns all hoping to find love, fame, and maybe a PrettyLittleThing brand deal along the way. It feels almost surreal that icons like Maura Higgins and Molly-Mae Hague once entered our lives this way and never really left.

Here's everything we know about Love Island 2026, including the host, rumoured cast and release date. Grab your suncream, as it's about to get hot in here.

Who will host Love Island 2026?

Maya Jama has confirmed she will once again host this season of Love Island. Jama has been fronting the show since she took over from Laura Whitmore in October 2022, quickly becoming a fan-favourite fixture of the villa.

This will mark her fifth summer series of Love Island, alongside three seasons of Love Island: All Stars.

When will Love Island 2026 start?

Slap on some fake tan because Love Island series 13 will commence on Monday, the 1st of June.

This will be the perfect follow-up to that insane season of MAFS Australia.

Who is in the cast of Love Island series 13?

Usually the cast of Love Island is revealed a few weeks before the show airs. According to sources, casting is now in its final stages, with the lucky singles simply waiting for that all-important confirmation call.

The Sun has reported that the first Islander in talks for the line-up is Dublin influencer Charleen Murphy. She’s already familiar with the show, as she’s best friends with Lucinda Strafford, and is newly single. She also previously auditioned for Love Island back in 2020.

A source told The Sun, “Charleen split from her boyfriend earlier this year and Lucinda told ITV bosses they should get her on the show. She’s really gorgeous and fun and has a lot of Irish charm – she’s been friends with Lucinda for years so of course Lucinda would put a word in for her!”

Similarly, The Only Way Is Essex star Ella Rae Wise has sent fans into a frenzy after sharing a post on Instagram that strongly hints at a potential villa appearance. Across a series of four snaps, Ella was pictured posing alongside the iconic Love Island villa neon sign at ITV studios, even pointing at it with a pen for good measure.

This wouldn’t be the first time a TOWIE star has entered the villa, either, as Joey Essex famously took part two years ago.

How many weeks is Love Island on for?

Love Island's latest series is reportedly expected to follow a similar format to the previous series and run for eight weeks. If this is right, we can expect the Love Island finale to take place in late July.

Where will Love Island series 13 be filmed?

Love Island 2026 will be filmed in Mallorca, presumably at the same villa. I mean, they've already got all those neon signs, so may as well!

Where can you watch Love Island 2026?

Love Island airs on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm BST, every night except Saturdays. All episodes are available for catch-up on ITVX shortly after broadcast.

Previous contestants have revealed that we don’t get a fresh episode on Saturdays because the Islanders are given the day off from filming, while cleaners head into the villa for a full deep clean and reset.

Episodes typically run for around an hour, packed with recouplings, drama, and at least one “I’ve got a text” scream.
