Wait… did we miss a chapter?
The last time we saw Millie Court and Lucinda Strafford on Love Island, the pair were two-thirds of an unbreakable trio with Chloe Burrows. But now Lucinda has just entered Love Island: All Stars as a bombshell — and it seems the two… aren’t friends anymore? Excuse me?
Since arriving alongside Curtis Pritchard, Lucinda immediately ruffled feathers by coupling with Ciaran, who had previously been with Samie Elishi. Sure, the love triangle is juicy, but what we really want to know is: what happened between Lucinda and Millie?
To answer this question to the best of our nosy abilities, here’s a complete friendship timeline for Millie Court and Lucinda Strafford.
Here's everyone you need to know, and the latest on the series' postponed start date.

Love Island, season 7, day 9
Real fans will remember that Lucinda and Millie were Day 0 besties. Yep, we’re heading back to Love Island Season 7 in the summer of 2021 — the first season after the pandemic. The pair walked in together as bombshells, instantly making waves.
From there, the friendship continued, though their little group soon grew to include fellow Islander Chloe Burrows. The trio later proudly dubbed themselves “the Naughty Trio.”

Love Island, season 7, day 28
Lucinda is dumped from the villa on Day 28, along with Aaron Francis. The girls are clearly upset to see her leave, hugging her tightly and sharing emotional goodbyes as the villa waves farewell to one of their own.
Love Island, season 7, day 58
Millie is named the winner of the season, alongside her match, Liam Reardon, cementing their place as the ultimate Love Island couple. Chloe finishes in second place, rounding out a dramatic and memorable finale for the villa.

Post-villa
The three women continued their friendship outside the villa, frequently posting together on Snapchat, Instagram Stories, and YouTube. Chloe and Millie even ended up living together, sharing plenty of content about their lives and adventures.
Eventually, both Millie and Chloe’s relationships with their respective Love Island men came to an end, but their bond remained strong, proving that sometimes the friendships formed in the villa outlast the romances.
Early 2023
After nearly two years of friendship, in early 2023, the trio stopped posting together. Millie and Chloe continue to share content, but Lucinda no longer appears alongside them.
The last post the three shared on Instagram was for Halloween 2022, where they dressed up as Victoria’s Secret Angels. And now… nothing? To go from a full-on Halloween group costume to radio silence?!

May 2024
Lucinda appeared on Ami Charlize’s podcast, where she confirmed that she was no longer friends with Millie and Chloe, and opened up about the other girls from her season she’s still close with.
"I talk to Liberty [Poole] quite a lot. You know what, you didn’t see on TV how close we actually were," she explained. "But as well, I formed friendships with people that I wasn’t actually… I was close to all the girls in there to be fair, and I feel like obviously with editing sometimes they can portray people to not get along when they actually did, but I really liked Faye [Winter]. And again, you wouldn’t know that from the show."
Love Island: All Stars, season 3, day 9
Then we reach season 3 of Love Island: All Stars. Lucinda strolls in as a bombshell, no Millie at her side — because Millie is already in the villa! She looks genuinely surprised to see her, though that might have more to do with strict NDAs than any falling out between besties.

Lucinda acknowledges the friendship and its ending, telling Ciaran that they used to be friends, but nothing “deep” caused the split.
She said, "Well, nothing actually happened that deep at all. Obviously, I will speak to her when I see her. I actually didn’t even see her walk in, to be fair. But it will be nice to see her, obviously, I haven’t seen her in ages."

However, Chloe’s ex-boyfriend Toby Aromolaran has a very different take. Following Lucinda’s entrance into the All Stars villa, he posted on Snapchat:
"Oh sht! Oh sht! Lucinda used to be friends with Millie and used to be friends with my ex, oh my god! All the stories are gonna come out now."
"I WONDER IF THEY’RE GUNNA SAY THE RIGHT STORY???" he added, alongside some cry-laugh emojis.
Not all love is lost, though, as Millie is quick to warn her former bestie about sneaky behaviour, taking Lucinda aside to spill the tea.
"So, them two have had a kiss tonight. Do you know that?" she asks.
Let’s hope this season of Love Island: All Stars leads to a recoupling between these two. We'll keep you posted.
When a Black woman takes up space, she is quickly labelled ‘aggressive’.
