Netflix’s chaotic reality dating hit once again brings together contestants from Love Is Blind, Too Hot to Handle, Love Island, MAFS Australia and more. This time around, the cast also includes a few unexpected additions from outside the dating show universe, including personalities from Making the Band and Vanderpump Rules.
But while we’re busy obsessing over the relationships, betrayals and villa drama, one question keeps nagging at us: when exactly was Perfect Match season four filmed? Because right now, the timeline genuinely isn’t adding up, and social media is only making things more confusing.

When was season 4 of Perfect Match filmed?
Perfect Match season four was filmed in November 2025, with the entire series reportedly shot over the course of about 21 days. Yep, all of this drama happens in just three weeks of filming. That's shorter than Love Island or Love is Blind: UK, which last six weeks or longer.
This is actually far more recent than we expected, especially considering shows like Love Is Blind are often released up to a year after filming wraps. Season three of Perfect Match, for example, was filmed in September 2024 but didn’t air until August 2025 — an 11-month wait. It’s also surprising given how many cast members have completely moved on since filming, started new relationships, and even appeared on entirely different reality shows in the meantime.
Yeah, those contracts are looking quite relaxed at this point…
Where was Perfect Match season 4 filmed?
The latest season of Perfect Match was filmed in Tulum, just like the previous instalments.
Production initially claimed the cast returned to Casa Xolo, the villa used in season three. But… are we all seeing the same thing? Because it definitely doesn’t look identical. Sorry, but this is not the same place.

The season has also featured some seriously stunning date locations, including Ajal Tulum, a treehouse-style boutique hotel; Secrets Tulum Resort & Beach Club; Holistika, a jungle wellness retreat; Tulum Fight Club; the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve; and Tankah Bay.

- November 2025: Perfect Match season four is filmed.
- December 2025: Bri Belram and Lochan Nowacki are rumoured to be dating. The pair later confirm the relationship in a social media post.
- January 2026: Yamen Sanders appears on Love Island: All Stars and forms a strong connection with Whitney Adebayo. The couple are still together, which accidentally gave viewers a pretty major spoiler about how things end for him on Perfect Match.
- May 2026: Perfect Match season four is finally released on Netflix. Jimmy Presnell and Ally Lewber have been posting a lot together and seem to be on great terms. Additionally, Marissa George shared a smiling photo on Instagram with the caption “It's because I'm looking at him…” Could she mean DeMari? Jimmy Sotos also referenced the pair in an Instagram post and was accused of spoiling the ending. We'll have to wait and see.
