Love Is Blind couples: Who is still together?

The Love Is Blind successful couples are an exclusive bunch. Netflix’s kooky, addictive reality show is many things—a social experiment, a dating show, a highly engineered drama factory—but it does actually lead to lasting relationships for some.
Whether you believe that love is blind or not, there’s no doubt that this twist on The Dating Game is hard to stop watching. We love shows like Love Is Blind for a reason. (The hit series just wrapped its sixth season.) For the unfamiliar, single men and women talk to each other from isolation pods without seeing each other until they agree to get engaged, at which point they can actually start dating and meet each other’s families. But anyone who knows the stress of wedding planning can guess what happens from there: fighting, tears, and breakups. So much goes on that sometimes whole other proposals happen we don’t even see onscreen.
Despite the many love triangles and surprises, and the downright bizarre nature of the show, some people do form genuine connections, and the Love Is Blind successful couples may just stand the test of time.
Brian Austin Green has a lot of thoughts about the backlash.

Lauren Speed, a former contestant (player? participant?), had this piece of advice for Love Is Blind couples: “When it was time for me to decide if I wanted to get married on #loveisBlind I struggled. I wanted to really make sure I got married because I could see forever with Cam. Not from production pressures or wanting fame. I wasn’t about to get legally married just for television. Because once those cameras leave and it’s just you and that person living and creating a life together…fame can’t save you. And who wants to be trapped in an empty marriage that’s hell! I really think this worked for us because it was genuinely 2 people not only finding love…But really falling IN LOVE with each other in the most unexpected way! Wishing the best for everyone in #loveisblind2 whether you decided to marry or stay single I hope that it brings you all closer to the happiness you all deserve! Without settling in any way.” Her marriage seems to be going just fine, so maybe it works!
If you think you might find your One True Love in Netflix’s pods, be sure you know the stats before you call up Love Is Blind casting. Because while most of the pairings don’t make it to their honeymoon, you can never say never. Love Is Blind season six was a wild ride, and we can only imagine that Love Is Blind season seven will be even more of a roller coaster.
Here’s where the Love Is Blind successful couples (so, anyone who got engaged onscreen) are now. Consider this your Love Is Blind After the Altar…after that.

NetflixLauren Speed-Hamilton and Cameron Hamilton
Season: One
Their story: Lauren and Cameron are proof that, while the success rate on dating shows is low at best, true love is possible. Lauren and Cameron connected instantly in the pods, and then got engaged and married on the show. The couple became fan favorites as well as proof that Netflix’s great experiment can work.
Their fate: They’re still together! They have a YouTube Channel called Hanging With the Hamiltons, and they wrote a book together titled Leap of Faith: Finding Love the Modern Way, which came out in 2021.
NetflixAmber Pike and Matt Barnett
Season: One
Their story: Amber and Matt are another example of Netflix’s great, weird experiment working. The couple connected hard and fast while in the pods, and their transition to real life after was mostly seamless. Their only obstacle was something of a love triangle with Jessica, who didn’t give up on chasing Matt even after he got engaged to Amber.
Their fate: Still together! Despite their differences, the couple remain happily married. At the Love Is Blind season one reunion, the couple shared that they considered getting a divorce at one point because they struggled adjusting to their life and relationship off-camera; however, they’ve clearly made it work.
NetflixDiamond Jack and Carlton Morton
Season: One
Their story: Drama! After getting engaged on the show, Carlton told Diamond that he was bisexual. She expressed her discomfort, and he retaliated with derogatory comments about her. It all led to an explosive fight during their trip to Mexico.
Their fate: He apologised, and they apparently keep in touch. But no chance they’re getting back together.
NetflixGiannina Gibelli and Damian Powers
Season: One
Their story: This polarizing couple connected in the pods and got engaged. Following several blow-up fights ahead of their wedding day, Damian said no at the altar. “I stayed consistent all the way through this and you have not,” he said.
Their fate: The couple had an on-again, off-again thing after filming the show, but they are very much not together now. The chaotic couple officially called things off in 2021. As of January 2022, Giannina is dating Blake Horstmann from The Bachelor, whom she met while filming a competition series for Paramount+.
NetflixJessica Batten and Mark Cuevas
Season: One
Their story: Jessica got engaged to Mark even though her true feelings were for Matt, who was engaged to Amber. Jessica seemed hesitant about Mark every step of the way on the show; however, she remained committed to the experiment and went all the way to the wedding ceremony. There, the couple ultimately said “I don’t.”
Their fate: It seemed Jessica might have dodged a bullet after allegations of Mark being a cheater surfaced following the show’s premiere. Regardless, both have since moved on: Mark now has two children and a new relationship, and Jessica is married to a new love.
NetflixKelly Chase and Kenny Barnes
Season: One
Their story: Because of the show’s rules, the pair had to say they were getting married just to keep dating. However, they had an understanding that they weren’t actually going to get married but would keep exploring their feelings after the show. “I thought that we were going to continue dating, because that was communicated between us,” Kelly told People. “And then it was our last filming day, and he had a conversation with me like, ‘Hey, I think I am not emotionally available right now. I need to take some time apart from you.’ I felt very rejected, like, ‘That wasn’t the plan. What the heck?’” She says she wrote him a letter, but he never responded.
Their fate: Not together. Kelly now has a podcast, ChaseLife With Kelly, on which she’s open about self-love and chasing a happy, healthy life. Barnes is now married to someone else.
NetflixJarrette Jones and Iyanna McNeely
Season: Two
Their story: Iyanna was Jarrette’s second choice after Mallory turned down his proposal, so these two naturally had some things to work on in their relationship…but they did keep moving forward with every episode. Consider them proof that first impressions aren’t always the most accurate, and it may be worth taking a second look at someone you’re only lukewarm about. You never know what might develop. Iyanna and Jarrette both said “I do” in the finale.
Their fate: They were together—until they weren’t. On September 23, McNeely officially filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences, after she and Jones announced in August 2022 that they were splitting up: "While we have love for each other, our lives are going in different directions, and that’s okay. Coming to this decision was far from easy and we will always wish each other the absolute best.”
“I’ll continue to wish Iyanna nothing but happiness and success with every future endeavor.” Jones told People. “I’m thankful for the continued support from everyone and hope for understanding during this difficult time.”
NetflixAbhishek “Shake” Chatterjee and Deepti Vempati
Season: Two
Their story: Shake claimed that he loved Deepti…but wasn’t attracted to her. They didn’t have third-wheel drama like other couples, but Shake never made Deepti feel special. So it was a satisfying ending to their relationship when Deepti decided to choose herself and said no at the altar.
Their fate: Yeah, not together. We’re gonna go ahead and file “Deepti and Shake” under How to Spot a Red Flag 101. At the reunion Shake only doubled down on his troubling superficial views about relationships, and it seems unlikely they’ll stay friends.
NetflixDanielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson
Season: Two
Their story: These two had an instant connection, but lingering issues from Danielle’s past proved a challenge. Still, Nick stood by her the whole time. The two got married in the finale.
Their fate: Nick and Danielle are not together. At the season-two reunion, they revealed that their relationship became a lot easier once the pressure of being on the show was gone. However, on August 21, TMZ reported that Danielle had filed for divorce from Nick.
NetflixShayne Jansen and Natalie Lee
Season: Two
Their story: Shayne, Shaina, and Natalie got caught up in a love triangle while in the pods, but it was Shayne and Natalie who got engaged. All seemed well until Shayne and Natalie had a big fight the night before the wedding ceremony. Entertainment Tonight reports that Shayne got “really, really angry” with Natalie, telling her that he “hated” her and that she was “the worst thing” to happen to him. Whatever happened that night, it convinced Natalie to say no at the altar.
Their fate: At the reunion Natalie revealed that she and Shayne dated for a while after the show ended; however, she says she was ultimately unable to move past their big fight. In July 2022 she was linked to Bachelorette alum Blake Moynes after the two were seen vacationing together. Shayne joined Netflix's Perfect Match and connected with The Circle and Too Hot to Handle star Chloe Veitch, but that relationship was short lived.
NetflixSalvador Perez and Mallory Zapata
Season: Two
Their story: Mallory and Sal proved that maybe love isn’t so blind after all. After connecting in the pods, Mallory wasn’t sure she was attracted to Sal once they met face-to-face. As they spent more time together, things seemed to be going pretty smoothly. Ultimately, he called off the wedding.
Their fate: Not together. Their conversation after the wedding seemed to leave the door open for a future relationship, but Mallory revealed at the reunion that they only met for one coffee before deciding the connection was no longer there.
NetflixKyle Abrams and Shaina Hurley
Season: Two
Their story: Shaina and Kyle seemed into each other but had little in common. Most notably, Kyle is an atheist and Shaina is a devout Christian. Kyle seemed willing to work it out, but Shaina pulled the plug in the sixth episode. They didn’t even make it to the wedding ceremonies.
Their fate: Seems like there’s not a ton of bad blood, but we don’t expect these two to become besties any time soon.
PATRICK WYMORE/NETFLIXMatt Bolton and Colleen Reed
Season: Three
Their story: Like most couples on the show, Colleen and Matt had their ups and downs after leaving the pods. She wasn’t sure if she was ready for marriage, and he had unresolved trust issues that came out in a big way once Cole expressed his attraction for Colleen. However, they both said “I do” at the wedding ceremony.
Their fate: They are still married…but not currently living together. Make of that what you will.
PATRICK WYMORE/NETFLIXNancy Rodriguez and Bartise Bowden
Season: Three
Their story: It seems love was not blind for Bartise, who was not secretive about his lack of attraction for Nancy. Despite this—not to mention their differing views on abortion—she was ready to say “I do” at the wedding ceremony. He was not.
Their fate: Not only are they not together, but Bartise was accused of moving in with another woman just days after the wedding ceremony. He now has a child.
PATRICK WYMORE/NETFLIXZanab Jaffrey and Cole Barnett
Season: Three
Their story: Zanab and Cole connected over their faith in the pods, but life after engagement wasn’t great. It all went downhill after Cole said he was more attracted to Colleen than to Zanab. At the alter, she said there was no way she could marry him because he had “shattered” her self-confidence.
Their fate: Not together. During the reunion episode, Cole apologized for his behavior. But according to Zanab, things were worse than what we saw on screen. She not only accused him of monitoring her eating habits but also kissing another woman during his bachelor party. (He denied this.)
COURTESY OF NETFLIXSikiru “SK” Alagbada and Raven Ross
Season: Three
Their story: SK and Raven were more of a slow burn compared to the other couples, but it was still a surprise when he said no at the altar. According to SK, it wasn’t because he didn’t love Raven. The timing was just off because he was about to move for graduate school.
Their fate: While they didn’t say “I do,” the couple stayed together and worked on their relationship long distance. But after allegations surfaced that SK had been unfaithful, the couple broke up.
COURTESY OF NETFLIXAlexa Alfia and Brennon Lemieux
Season: Three
Their story: It wasn’t really a question of whether or not Alexa and Brennon would make it to the altar. The two were in love as soon as they met and the chemistry never faltered.
Their fate: Still together! “I’ve never been loved in the way that he loves me,” Alexa said during the reunion episode.
NetflixChelsea Griffin and Kwame Appiah
Season: Four
Their story: Kwame and Chelsea built a strong connection—especially after he was dumped by Micah—in the pods. However, he struggled with moving from Portland to Seattle to be closer to Chelsea.
Their fate: Married! Despite their hurdles, they both said “I do” at the altar in the finale that aired on Friday, April 14.
NetflixTiffany Pennywell and Brett Brown
Season: Four
Their story: Has any Love Is Blind couple had less hurdles than Tiffany and Brett? These two seemed made for each other from the start.
Their fate: So it was not a surprise when they got married in the finale episode. We're happy for them!
NetflixMicah Lussier and Paul Peden
Season: Four
Their story: Micah and Paul both dumped their other connections in the pods to be together, but building their relationship in the real world proved to be more of a struggle.
Their fate: Not together. In the finale, Paul told Micah that he didn't think they were ready to get married.
NetflixJackelina Bonds and Marshall Glaze
Season: Four
Their story: Jackelina and Marshall were the definition of “opposites attract,” something that worked for them at first but ultimately led to communication issues and fights.
Their fate: Not together. After Jackie declined to show up for her wedding dress fitting, the two broke things off. She started dating Josh, another connection she had in the pods, before the season was over.
COURTESY OF NETFLIXIrina Solomonova and Zack Goytowski
Season: Four
Their story: Even though Zack had a strong connection with Bliss in the pods, he decided to propose to Irina because he felt he'd be more accepted by her family. Unfortunately, their first meeting IRL did not go well—and things only went down from there.
Their fate: Not together. Irina and Zack broke up before they even left their vacation in Mexico. Once he was back in Seattle, Zack contacted Bliss and told her he made “the wrong choice.”
MONTY BRINTON/NETFLIXBliss Poureetezadi and Zack Goytowski
Season: Four
Their story: After Zack admitted his mistake to Bliss, she agreed to give him a second chance. The two got engaged soon after and faced relatively few challenges on their way to the altar.
Their fate: Married! In the finale, Bliss and Zack said “I do.”
© 2023 Netflix, Inc.Lydia Gonzalez and James “Milton” Johnson IV
Season: Five
Their story: It was a rocky journey to the aisle for Lydia and James. Although the two initially bonded over their love of rocks—no, seriously—Lydia seemed more invested in her connection with Izzy Zapata…until Izzy admitted he was no longer interested in her. Then, it was revealed that Lydia fellow season five contestant had previously dated before filming. Nevertheless, Milton proposed and the couple made it to the altar. In an interview with Glamour US, Love Is Blind creator Chris Coelen called their relationship one of his “favorite love stories of all time.”
Their fate: Married! Milton had to move for work after the season aired but they've been making their long-distance marriage work. “Lydia and Milton had, almost more than anyone has ever been on the show, adversity and obstacles thrown at them,” Coelen told Glamour. “They overcame those obstacles at every single turn and love triumphs in the end.”
© 2023 Netflix, Inc.Taylor Rue and Jared “JP” Pierce
Season: Five
Their story: Taylor and JP formed an instant connection and were the first couple of the season to get engaged. But once they left the pods, the chemistry wasn't there and they broke up.
Their fate: Not together! In fact they were one of the quickest breakups in Love Is Blind history. “Truthfully, I thought they were absolutely going to get married,” Coelen said. “That's what I thought when they got engaged. I was like, 'Yeah, there's never been more of a lock for a couple to get married than JP and Taylor.' That's how I felt, and I was dead wrong.”
© 2023 Netflix, Inc.Izzy Zapata and Stacy Snyder
Season: Five
Their story: Izzy formed connections with multiple women in the pods, including Lydia Gonzalez and Johnie Maraist, before eventually deciding to focus solely on Stacy. They got engaged, but had their ups and downs after the pods—largely because Stacy had concerns over Izzy's finances and his behavior toward ex Johnie.
Their fate: Not together. Izzy tried dating Johnie after the show ended, but that was short lived too. In March 2024 it was announced that he'll be on the new season of Perfect Match.
© 2024 Netflix, Inc.Clay Gravesend and Amber Desiree “AD” Smith
Season: Six
Their story: AD and Clay had chemistry from the start but cooled after he asked her about her physical appearance. AD also started exploring her connection with contestant Matthew Duliba…that is, until she learned Matthew was telling another woman in the pods the exact same things as her. So AD recommitted to Clay, and the two were able to open up to each other enough to get engaged by the end.
Their fate: Not together. All seemed well (for the most part) up until the finale, but Clay said “I don't” at the altar because he felt he wasn't ready for marriage. During the season six reunion, Clay admitted he'd made a mistake, saying, “She's honestly the love of my life.” AD revealed that she'd tried dating Matthew after the show ended, but they lived different lives. But will AD and Clay get back together? Clay said he was interested; AD wasn't so sure.
© 2024 Netflix, Inc.Brittany Mills and Kenneth Gorham
Season: Six
Their story: Brittany and Kenneth connected over their faith in the pods and the fact that they wanted to wait until marriage to have sex, but struggled outside of the pods. It seemed like maybe Kenneth was more interested in his phone than Brittany.
Their fate: Not together. By episode eight, the couple agreed they didn't want to force something that wasn't there and broke up.
© 2024 Netflix, Inc.Amy Cortés and Johnny McIntyre
Season: Six
Their story: Amy and Johnny were the clear winners of Love Is Blind season six. They bonded over their mutual love of anime and it was smooth sailing from then on. (Aside from fact that Johnny needed a serious education on birth control.)
Their fate: Together! To the surprise of nobody, they said “I do” in the finale. By the time of the reunion, almost a year later, they were still happily married.
© 2024 Netflix, Inc.Chelsea Blackwell and Jimmy Presnell
Season: Six
Their story: Jimmy had connections with Chelsea…and Jessica Vestal. Chelsea had connections with Jimmy…and Trevor Sova. But ultimately, Jimmy and Chelsea decided to focus solely on each other and get engaged. They had their ups and downs, however, including an argument over Jimmy's friendship with an ex that led to him calling Chelsea “clingy.” In the finale, Jimmy tells Chelsea he doesn't want to go to the altar.
Their fate: We're not sure? Chelsea claimed in interviews that the former couple tried dating after the show ended but didn't work out. But then the two were seeing kissing in early March, almost a year after the show ended. To the frustration of fans (and the Glamour staff), the March 13 reunion special didn't provide any relationship status updates for Chelsea and Jimmy either.
© 2024 Netflix, Inc.Laura Dadisman and Jeramey Lutinski
Season: Six
Their story: Another Love Is Blind love triangle: Jeramey was interested in both Laura and fellow contestant Sarah Ann, before deciding to move forward with the former. Jeramey and Laura got engaged, but life in the real world found them arguing over bean dip (not the food) and, more seriously, the fact that he stayed out until 5 a.m. with Sarah Ann. They broke up before the finale.
Their fate: Definitely not together. Jeramey and Sarah Ann revealed at the season six reunion that they'd been dating for almost a year and had even moved in together.
