If anything, getting engaged gave me a rather good excuse to purchase some new stationary. Buying the best wedding planner book was top of my list of priorities over the first couple of months (after soaking up all the congratulatory wishes, of course), because when it came to thinking about my big day I want to alleviate as much stress as possible.
