Get cosy, slip into your joggers, and prepare to watch a fresh batch of rich celebrities ruin their manicures. I'm a Celebrity... South Africa is back, bringing together some of the most iconic campmates for another stint in the jungle. Among the familiar faces this time around are TOWIE's Gemma Collins, Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts, and Harry Redknapp.
It’s already shaping up to be a strong season, complete with jaw-dropping I'm A Celeb filming locations in South Africa — although, let’s be honest, everyone got a little distracted during that cliff challenge by Ant’s suddenly ginger hair. Haters will say it’s a green screen.
But let’s get to what we really care about. We’re all thinking it, even if it’s deeply un-British to say out loud: how much are the I’m A Celeb cast actually getting paid? Yes, we want the exact figures, and no, we’re not embarrassed to (privately) admit it.
While we can’t quite access their Monzo statements, we can do some digging — and come up with some very educated estimates. Consider this your ultimate investigation into the I’m A Celeb salaries.

What was the argument about salaries on I'm A Celeb?
Former Premier League player Jimmy Bullard was reportedly “furious” when he discovered he was being paid less than ex-football manager Harry Redknapp. According to reports, Bullard earned around £100,000 for his 2014 appearance, while Redknapp was paid £500,000 for the 2018 series — making him one of the show’s highest-paid contestants.
A source claimed, “Jimmy expected to be on the same page as Harry. However, Harry is considered one of the biggest names of the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! South Africa series. He also loves spending time at home with his wife Sandra, and it would have taken a big fee for him to spend time in South Africa without her.”
How much are the I'm A Celeb All Stars cast paid?
Their most recent fees have not been released publicly, but we do know what they allegedly earned on their first appearance — and when you factor in inflation, plus the increased investment that comes with an All-Star cast, the numbers start to look very different.
£60,000–£80,000
Adam Thomas received one of the lower fees in this group during his first stint in the jungle. The Emmerdale actor went on to finish in third place, which arguably made him excellent value for money in terms of viewer engagement.
By the end of it, his flight to Australia may well have cost as much as his time in camp — at least at that initial reported fee level.
£100,000–£150,000
Best known as a member of The Pussycat Dolls, Ashley Roberts traded her heels for combat boots and headed into the jungle. She was reportedly paid a relatively strong fee compared with some of her fellow campmates from her original series.
The latest I’m A Celebrity… South Africa season was filmed in 2025, which works well for Roberts, as she is also gearing up for The Pussycat Dolls tour this year.
£125,000
From Coronation Street to the jungle, Beverley Callard joined I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! during the Wales-based series filmed as a result of COVID-19 travel restrictions.
She was reportedly paid an impressive £125,000 for her time on the show.
From Gemma Collins to Ashley Roberts.

£100,000
Back in 2014, actor and comedian Craig Charles joined a particularly star-studded series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! — alongside Gemma Collins. He was reportedly paid a fairly standard fee for his time in the jungle.
£100,000
Okay, the real question everyone wants to know: how much is Gemma Collins paid on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!?
We can’t confirm her current fee, but back in 2014, she reportedly received around £100,000 for her short-lived jungle stint, which lasted just three days.
Since then, her profile has only grown significantly, so it’s widely assumed she would now command one of the higher appearance fees of any returning All-Stars contestant, especially given her enduring cultural impact and headline-making presence.
£500,000
Harry Redknapp reportedly earned £500,000 for his 2018 stint on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, making him the highest-paid campmate of that year — and, by some distance, one of the biggest earners in the show’s history. That figure still stands as the fourth highest of all time, behind names like Coleen Rooney, Nigel Farage and Noel Edmonds.
So the question is obvious: did he earn anywhere near that again this time around? That’s the real intrigue.
£70,000–£100,000
The former English footballer and coach was reportedly paid a solid fee when he entered the Australian jungle in 2014, although it arguably turned out to be a less-than-ideal deal for the show, as he was the first contestant voted off.
This may have influenced his negotiating power for later appearances, but whether that impacted his fee for the All Stars series is still unclear — we’ll have to wait and see…
£60,000–£80,000
The British television personality and presenter, best known for appearing on Channel 4’s Gogglebox, swapped her sofa for the jungle back in 2014. She went on to win the sixteenth series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2016, despite reportedly being paid a relatively low fee compared to some of her fellow contestants.
£80,000–£100,000
The singer and actress is no stranger to television, having appeared on Loose Women, The Xtra Factor and This Morning. Sinitta reportedly received a fairly average fee for her first stint in the jungle on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.
Everything you need to know about this series' jungle.

£40,000–£50,000
The lowest reported fee for a first-time campmate on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! went to Seann Walsh, the stand-up comedian and actor. He entered the jungle in 2022 alongside Boy George and Matt Hancock. We're curious whether the same happened this time.
£100,000–£150,000
Boxer David Haye reportedly took home between £100,000 and £150,000 for his stint in the jungle in 2012 on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.
The investment appears to have paid off for producers too, as he became one of the more divisive campmates of the series, regularly ruffling feathers and generating plenty of on-screen drama throughout his time in camp.
£300,000–£400,000
Mo Farah was also one of the highest-paid contestants in I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! history. He reportedly earned between £300,000 and £400,000 when he appeared on the show in 2020.
Realistically, it’s hard to imagine fees at that level becoming the norm again in today’s economic climate.
