I'm A Celeb has officially returned to our screens, bringing an amazing line-up of past contestants and stars with it.

This year's line-up includes Gemma Collins, Adam Thomas, Ashley Roberts, Scarlett Moffatt, David Haye, Beverley Callard, Seann Walsh, Sinitta, Sir Mo Farah, Craig Charles, Jimmy Bullard and Harry Redknapp.

Former jungle queen and Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt has said in the show's teaser: “Doing this show changed my life. I went in there, and I was 25. I’m a mum now, I’m getting married, and to do this, it just feels really full circle.”

While the regular I'm A Celebrity series is filmed in the Australian jungle, this one will take place in South Africa – partially to avoid the Aussie winter, we reckon.

Here's everything we know about the filming location of this year's I'm A Celebrity series in South Africa.

Where is I’m A Celeb South Africa filmed?

Along with many of the other international versions of I'm A Celebrity – including the Australian, Danish, French, German, Hungarian and Romanian spin-offs – this series of I'm A Celeb in South Africa is filmed in one of the largest game reserves in Africa, located in Limpopo and Mpumalanga.

Kruger National Park

The national park contains 12 main rest camps, 5 bushveld camps, 2 bush lodges, and 4 satellite camps, so it's fair to say it's pretty massive. Its website adds: “Established in 1898 to protect the wildlife of the South African Lowveld, Kruger offers a world-class wildlife experience with unparalleled diversity.”

It's also home to an incredible range of wildlife, including “336 tree species, 49 fish, 34 amphibians, 114 reptiles, 507 birds, and 147 mammals, and leads in environmental management techniques.”

The area is covered in thick tropical forest, an exciting location for so the series' infamous Bushtucker Trials. We wonder how many of these species the celebs will encounter.

When was I’m A Celeb South Africa filmed?

Reports say that the series was filmed over six months ago, back in September 2025, meaning each elimination had already been decided except for the grand finale on 24 April, which will be live, and fans will be able to vote for their winner.

"We’re going to get all the cast back, and we’ll have the finalists in the studio,” hosts Ant and Dec have said. “It’ll be a live vote like we do in Australia, and the public will decide their Legend”, they added.
