31 best BAFTAs 2025 hair and makeup looks you need to see
There was no shortage of glamour on tonight's red carpet with Britain and Hollywood's top talent spotlighting the best BAFTAs 2025 beauty looks.
Often a barometer of the best beauty looks for the season ahead, the night's makeup leaned heavily on monochromatic moments. Monica Barbaro and Hannah Dodd opted for delicate swathes of rose on the eyes, cheeks and lips, while Camila Cabello's copper hues tied her look together.
Scribbles of inky black eyeliner also reigned supreme, whether it was a ring around the eyes as seen on Mikey Madison or worn as cat-eye flick – a shape favoured by Ariana Grande and Nico Parker.
There was also plenty of nude lipstick, with Selena Gomez making a case for soft peach lips – prepare to see variations on this hue everywhere in spring. All of which made Sarel Madziya's latex cherry lips and Saoirse Ronan's slash of crimson even more striking.
Slicked-back buns predictably stole the show with Molly-Mae Hague, Marisa Abela and Wunmi Mosaku co-signing the look. But the gong for best hair of the night? It's a close fight between Gwendoline Christie with her hauntingly beautiful, goth-inspired micro braids, and India Ria Amarteifio's regal, crown-like braid.

With her flicked-out bob pulled neatly into a slicked-back bun, a simple wash of taupe eyeshadow graced her lids and a soft puff of pink blusher brought a delicate flush to her cheeks. Featuring a different bejewelled design in shimmering white and oxblood on each finger, they picked up the intricate detail of her lace corset.
