There's nothing quite like Netflix's Love on the Spectrum to remind us all that love really is real. After drama-filled shows like MAFS and Love Is Blind and Love Island, Love on the Spectrum shows us a sweeter, more tender picture of romance.

The documentary show stars a cast of singles with autism looking to find love. It's a fascinating, touching, authentic portrait of how autism can sometimes make relationships harder to come by — but also even more beautiful when they finally blossom.

Now in its fourth season, the show has successfully brought together a few incredible couples, from Abbey and David to Pari and Tina. But which Love on the Spectrum season 4 couples are still together?

Here's what we know.

Which Love on the Spectrum season 4 couples are still together?

James and Shelley

Together

After meeting online in season 3 of the show, Shelley and James met face-to-face at his birthday party. They quickly became an official couple and in season 4, Shelley joined the main cast. James and Shelly spent much of season 4 preparing to settle down together. They eventually found the perfect home in Boston where they now live.

Shelley is originally from the UK and now works in autism advocacy.

“We really have a deep understanding of how we may struggle in different situations,” she said of their relationship. “It’s just wonderful because if he is struggling or getting a bit stressed over things, I can calm him down.”

Emma and Eric

Not together

Sadly, Emma didn't actually find love this season. A member of the Mormon church, Emma went on a few dates with fellow Mormons — one with Austin and two with Eric. Although she ended the season still considering continuing things with Eric, apparently, it didn't work out.

“We went to the aquarium and his house a few times," she said to Swoon of what came next. But, she added, it ended soon after.

Emma is still hoping to find love and wants to give another season of Love on the Spectrum a go to “see what’s out there,.”

Connor and Georgie

Not together

Connor and Georgie first got together during the third season of the show on a blidn date. In season 4, they reached a new relationship milestone, taking their first trip together to London. Unfortunately, the pair broke up just one week later.

“Dating and relationships can be difficult and complicated, and as you spend more time with a person, you may learn they are not the perfect match,” Connor explained of their breakup to Tudum, adding, “It is important to take care of yourself and prioritize your own wants and needs for a true connection.”

“He wants an adult connection, and I think the trip to England really shined a light on where Georgie is on her journey and where she is in life, and where Connor is,” Connor's mother Lise said on her podcast Talk to Me Sis. “And even though they were attracted to each other, I think Connor wanted to go a little bit deeper and have more handholding, maybe more of a physical relationship, and that maybe wasn’t where Georgie was.”

She added, “You really get to know somebody when you’re doing a trip like that and by the end of the trip, Connor just came to realise, ‘Georgie is a great girl, she’s just not my girl.’”

As for Georgie, she is now in a new relationship with her friend Luke. “I was flattered and obviously said yes,” she said. “He’s been teaching me about football and basketball. He makes me laugh, and I make him laugh.”

Abbey and David

Not together

According to reports, long-time Love on the Spectrum fan favourites Abbey and David have split. The pair met during the first season of the show and continued to appear in each season as the show's longest couple. In season 4, Abbey said that "neither one of us are ready to get married" but that they are "already married in our hearts.” They celebrated their fourth anniversary last July.

However, apparently, the pair split just this week.

Madison and Tyler

Together

And not only are they together, as the picture kind of gives away, they are now engaged! The proposal took place during the fourth season of the show in the Sunken Gardens of Tampa, Florida — the very same spot where they met a year earlier.

Tyler's proposal had a Christmas in July theme and featured a letter from Tyler and that Madison read out loud: "I knew in my heart when I met you, that I found someone special, unique and precious," Tyler wrote. "With this being our one-year anniversary, I would like to give you a gift to express just how much you mean to me. From the moment I met you, I knew I had met my person and I don't want to wait another moment to let the world know just how I feel."

When he then got down on one knee and proposed, Madison began to cry as she said, “I can't believe it.”

“The thing I love about us being an autistic couple is we help each other overcome our struggles,” Tyler said to Tudum. “I’m looking forward to spending the rest of my life with Madison by my side.” So cute!

Dylan and Melissa

Together

At the end of season 4 of Love on the Spectrum, it was announced that Dylan was still single. However, in a recent interview, he told Swooon that he was in fact still dating Melissa, whom he met on the show.

“We’re still together… and we’re talking to get to know each other. We’ve been talking on the phone and texting. And yeah, we’ve been planning to go out soon,” he said.

Logan and Hailey

Not together

Sadly, things didn't work out for Logan and Hailey. The pair went on a few dates and even shared a kiss and met each other's families. Logan eventually claimed that he wanted to be with Hailey “forever” and asked her to be his girlfriend.

Although they ended the show as a couple, reports suggest that their relationship didn't last after the cameras stopped rolling.

“I got into costumes, then I went on some practice dates, one practice date, and I tried my very best to go on a couple dates. I tried my best to impress that girl. Well, here I am now. I still need to look for love,” Logan later told People.
