The ultimate men’s grooming gift guide 2025 — including expert-recommended beauty, skincare and haircare essentials

Gone are the days of men hiding in the shadows when browsing the beauty aisles. As more and more men's grooming products go viral, from do-it-all skincare gift sets to face washes, beard oils and manicure kits, the modern-day gentleman is stepping into the spotlight and unashamedly taking care of their appearance.
“The men’s Grooming market grew from $87.5 Billion in 2023 to $90.56 billion in 2024 — and is projected to reach $96.52 billion in 2025,” says Patrick Kidd, founder of PATRICKS. “This growth is likely due to several factors – the rise of e-commerce platforms, increased awareness and acceptance of male grooming.”
From bagging themselves the latest Creed fragrance to taking a trip to get some cosmetic ‘tweakments,’ — Thérapie Clinic has reported a 78% increase in male botox appointments since 2021 — or gifting their parents the latest Elemis gift set, proving that the beauty sector is no longer just for (well-informed) women.
However, we all know that men don't tend to restock their shelves. That's the role of a considerate partner, shopping for a gift to celebrate their birthday, anniversary or recent promotion — or just looking to treat their other half to a spot of self-care at home. But, in this day and age, the number of grooming items being sold online is, frankly, overwhelming. Thankfully, I've pulled together an edit of the best men's grooming gift for 2025. So, whether he's a complete novice or you want to entirely overhaul his routine, here are the (highly-rated) skincare, beauty and haircare products I recommend to all.

When it comes to knowing what products are worth investing in, for me, it’s all about trial and error — and I have tried countless items to ensure they do what they say they’re meant to do. From using the same got2b Glued Blasting Freeze Spray for the last eight years, shaving with the Philips OneBlade 360 Beard Trimmer, or indulging in some at-home self-care with the Shark CryoGlow Under-Eye Cooling & LED Anti-Ageing & Blemish Repair Mask.
In addition, I’ve scoured the internet and social media to see what consumers are shouting about. Spoiler: this includes the CervaVe Eye Repair Cream and Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream, each of these racking up hundreds (some thousands) of five-star reviews. I also considered in terms of its price, value for money, and delivery. So rest assured, they’re worth the hype.

Ahead, GLAMOUR's edit of the must-have grooming buys for men in 2025:
“The top three essentials for a man's grooming routine are a great cleanser, a moisturiser, and SPF," suggests Jaspers. "For the cleanser, I recommend choosing a milder one, especially during colder weather when the skin can be more sensitive.
"The moisturiser you select should depend on your age — while younger skin may only need basic hydration, older skin benefits from a moisturiser with anti-ageing properties. And of course, SPF is crucial, even on darker, rainier days. I always suggest going for an SPF 50 and choosing a lightweight, non-greasy formula that won’t feel heavy or oily on your skin. These three products are the foundation of a simple yet effective grooming routine.”
“It’s not always the cheapest grooming products that deliver the best value," explains Kidd. “A lot of brands put tiny amounts of active ingredients in so they can write them on the label, so always look for brands that put them in at the levels they’re proven to work.”
Jaspers adds: “Consider your problem areas — do you experience redness, puffiness around the eyes, or wrinkles? These concerns, along with your age, will guide your choices."
I can't be tempted away: this device is a serious skin game-changer.

The benefits of taking care of yourself are immense. Self-care isn’t just about skincare; it extends to your diet, exercise, and overall well-being. When it comes to skincare and grooming, it can give you a serious confidence boost — especially when you walk into a room knowing you look good because you’ve invested in yourself.
Having bad skin — whether it’s flaky, irritated, red, or just tired-looking — can lead to feelings of insecurity. These issues can be greatly improved with a consistent skincare routine. And no, it's about vanity; it’s about using the tools, science, and products from skincare and supplement brands to enhance your overall well-being and feel your best.
“Every morning, I start by rubbing an ice cube on my face," reveals Jaspers. "This helps wake me up. I do this year-round — just grab an ice cube from the fridge and massage it all over until it melts. Then I pat my face dry and apply my skincare products. It was a total game-changer for me when it comes to reducing puffiness.
“I always use a self-tanner. With my pale complexion, especially in the winter, I need that extra glow and colour. A self-tanner gives me the radiance I need without the sun damage.”
"My beard grooming is key for shaping my face. I keep a short, three-day beard on my cheeks and chin but shave my neck smooth, just below the jawline. This subtle line helps create a slimmer, more defined look.”
This way for soothed, calm skin.
