Lucy Abbersteen

Lucy is an experienced, London-based beauty editor who has worked in the industry for the past 10 years. After studying journalism at The University of Sheffield – where she also got her NCTJ diploma – Lucy started her career at Marie Claire UK. Now a freelance Beauty Editor, as well as Glamour, she has written for Cosmopolitan, Stylist, Refinery29, woman&home and more. Lucy also regularly publishes on Substack.

Over the years, Lucy has covered all areas of the beauty industry, from skincare innovations and hair trends and techniques to viral beauty services and backstage at Fashion Week. As well as building up a trusted list of dermatologists, hairdressers, make-up artists and other highly-qualified industry experts to call on for her features, she’s interviewed dozens of celebs over the years – including queen of the castle, Claudia Winkleman, the stars of Little Mix and Molly-Mae Hague. When Lucy isn't writing, you'll probably find her reading, dog walking, enjoying live music or working her way through London's food scene.
