Kitten heels are the shoe comeback you're going to want in on - here are 17 pairs of low-heeled styles to purchase ASAP
Fashion has long had a problem with the in-between. The midi skirt was at first divisive, cycling shorts were something everyone detested before they tried them, and for ages in the shoes realm, the consensus was to go high or not at all. That is, until the kitten heel became this season's exception.
Flooding our Instagram feeds as well as the runways of the latest fashion shows, kitten heels have made a comeback since their first debut in the 1950s and it looks as though they're here to stay. Perhaps it's a blessing in disguise - a way to ease yourself back into wearing heels after spending months in slippers or trainers - or perhaps it's a matter of trends constantly rotating, either way we're not shunning their popularity. Rather, eager to embrace it.

The style - characterised by a half stiletto heel - has got a bit of a reputation for being a favourite with grandmas, but instead of clunky, sensible styles, this season they've taken on a whole new chicer form. Think heeled flip flops, sleek slingbacks and mules and you'll be on the right track. Be it embellished Jimmy Choo iterations or clean, minimalist styles from the likes of & Other Stories and Manolo Blahnik, kitten heels have been popping up everywhere. Even on our fave influencers:
