SKIMS SWIM is finally here and, honestly, you’re going to want one of everything
When Kim Kardashian launches a new SKIMS range, you don’t walk, you RUN. The need for speed is real if you want to cop something, A) because everything sells out as soon as it goes live and B) because there’s no guarantee how quickly things will re-stock if you miss out.
This drop is no different to the ones that came before it - in fact, we’d argue it’s even bigger and better. The first ever SKIMS SWIM collection has officially dropped and it's safe to say you will be totally and utterly obsessed with it all.
The 19-piece line-up includes separates that you can mix and match in seven different colours, appealing to everyone's coverage preferences and tastes. We love to see it. The tops include a triangle (£26), a tank (£36), a plunge (£30) and a bandeau (£29), while you can pick from a selection of bottoms including a tie-side (£26), a tanga (£26) and a mid-waist (£29) pair.
For the more modest among us, there are things like a long-sleeve swim top - which we’re pretty sure was the one Kim donned herself back in January (the same one that inspired everyone to purchase long-sleeve swimsuits) - and shorts for coverage. Alongside these, a sarong, a shrug and a mini skirt are also up for grabs and, yes, they can all be worn as swimwear. So versatile.

As if we needed further proof that Kim and the SKIMS team are always ahead of the trends, the brand has also launched two one-piece swimsuits with cut-out details for a beach-to-boardwalk solution. Simply throw on a pair of shorts or a floaty skirt with some sandals and you’re ready for lunch.
Available in the label’s signature neutral shades (ochre, almond, cocoa, gunmetal and onyx), each piece also comes in two blues for a splash of colour: periwinkle and cobalt. The sizes of the SWIM collection remain true to the rest of the website, too, ranging from XXS (US 00) to 4X (US 24-26).
You probably don’t need any more convincing - especially if you’re already a fan of the SKIMS underwear fit - but just in case you do, model Tabria Majors said: “Someone is working their f***ing a** off at SKIMS to get this s*** right,” after trying each piece on. Race you to the website.
