Ganni has teamed up with Juicy Couture for the ultimate noughties nostalgia collection

Paris Hilton will no doubt be first in the queue.

Of course, it wouldn't be a Juicy Couture collection without a velour tracksuit, but thanks to Ganni's conscious credentials (the brand has has 100% traceability on Stage 1-4 of their supply chain and has published all Stage 1 and 2 suppliers with the Open Apparel Registry to drive transparency) this drop boasts the most responsibly-produced version of the brand's staple two-piece to date.

A real pop culture staple, the Juicy Couture tracksuit has been synonymous with Hollywood it-girls since its epic rise to fame in the early noughties thanks to the likes of Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, Kim Kardashian, Lindsay Lohan and J Lo who were all early purveyors of the look.

Made with a mix of certified organic and pre-consumer recycled cotton as well as recycled polyester, the tracksuit comes in black, indigo and a brown logo print.

“There are few fashion pieces in the world that are as easily recognised as Juicy Couture's velour tracksuit,” noted Ditte Reffstrup, Creative Director at Ganni

“It’s truly a piece of pop culture history and I am super excited for Ganni's take on it. Being able to work with them on making the most responsible version yet was a great extra layer to the collaboration.” 

“For the collection, we wanted to keep the essential 2000s mood and LA vibe while bringing some of Ganni's contemporary Scandi feel to it.”

But it's not all tracksuits. This collection also includes logo-print t-shirts, caps, dresses, tops and leggings in certified organic and recycled materials.

“A collaboration with Ganni was a natural fit for Juicy Couture,” said Taryn Washenik, a SVP at ABG, owner of the Juicy Couture brand. “It was incredibly special to marry Ganni's effortlessly cool Scandinavian DNA with Juicy’s LA vibe and off-duty celebrity heritage.”

The 13-piece collection launched on March 30th and will be available in Ganni stores worldwide, on ganni.com and on juicycouture.co.uk.
