Celebrities and influencers brought back this staple 90s trend during isolation
As Covid continues to spread around the world and plunge countries into varying degrees of lockdown, the vast majority of us are playing by the rules and keeping ourselves to ourselves at home. And, for those of us who don't work on the front line and are lucky enough to be able to continue working from our kitchen tables, that means that our professional lives have seen somewhat of a switch-up.
Having spent the last few months figuring out how to do our jobs in an entirely new environment away from all of our colleagues, we've all no doubt found ourselves faced with a number of obstacles that we didn't originally foresee. And, while it's no doubt provided us with an arguably vital form of communication, Zoom has taken over our lives a little more than we'd like to admit.
When we've not been conference-calling colleagues, we've been doing video 'pub quizzes' with our friends, or even virtual dating (it's a thing!) - but all this video-calling has thrown up a constant question looming over us all as to what to wear.
Regular outfits feel entirely over the top, while a day spent in pyjamas feels groggy and unproductive.
But it's not just those of us working-from-home who have been trying to figure out how to strike the balance, with celebrities and influencers also adjusting to the change.
So what have their wardrobes been serving up for the occasion?
A number of famous faces are still eking out old content and #throwbacks, decorating our feeds with looks we can only admire from afar right now. Others are keeping it a bit more real, via comfy loungewear separates and chic sweaters.
Several - including the ultra chic likes of Victoria Beckham and Rosie Huntigton-Whiteley - have launched themselves head (and feet!) first into a 90s trend that, frankly, was a hugely welcome resurgence.
The matching tracksuit is all over Instagram right now, with sportier, cuffed hem takes proving just as popular as flared, slim fit versions.
