GLAMOUR'S Hair Heroes: The award-winning hairstyles from our favourite celebrities

With hair colourists and stylists at their fingertips, it's no wonder we constantly look to celebrities for hair inspiration.
Going from blonde to rose gold in one day and then pulling out an intricate updo or braid on the red carpet is all in a days work.
Whether you have short hair, afro hair, or fine hair, you'll always be able to find a muse among the A-list.

In true Hollywood style and in celebration of the GLAMOUR Hair Heroes, we've rounded up our favourite celebrity haircuts, colours and red carpet moments, to award them with a GLAMOUR Hair Hero accolade.
And the winners are...

Winner: Zendaya at the Oscars Vanity Fair After Party
Zendaya's slicked-back ballerina bun was a thing of beauty on the red carpet, but it was the gold accessories she added for the after party that really took it to the next level. We're definitely tucking this away under wedding hairstyle inspiration.
Getty ImagesBEST LONG HAIR
Winner: Shay Mitchell
In an interview with GLAMOUR, Shay revealed her long hair is entirely her own – no extensions necessary. She thanks her mum, who she says always had hair down to her ankles. "I also love oils when it comes to my hair whether it's argan oil or coconut oil. I'm always wrapping it up with a little shower cap on. If I'm in a sauna or on vacation, I'll wrap it in a shower cap with oil and just leave it for an hour."
Getty ImagesBEST SHORT HAIR
Winner: Dua Lipa
Dua's dead straight, chin-skimming bob is quickly becoming her signature look and a popular reference for those heading in-salon for a chop. If you're looking to emulate her style, you may want to consider a keratin treatment for easy styling.

BEST NATURAL HAIR
Winner: Yara Shahidi
Bow down to Yara's bouncy mane. Whether she's wearing it loose in all it's springy glory, or whipped into a ponytail or braid, her natural texture is a thing of beauty. Thinking of giving up the weave yourself? Here's our edit of the best afro hair products.

Winner: Jasmine Sanders at the 2018 Met Gala.
It's been almost a year since this rose-adorned braid made our jaws drop and we're still not over it. The look was created by hairstylist Renda Attia and featured real roses, some of which were spray-painted in a metallic gold.

Winner: Meghan Markle
Whether it's worn in a low bun or a royally good blow-out, Meghan's glossy brunette colour is always in optimal health. She's previously cited Kerastase Masquintense (£31.70) and Wella Oil Reflections Luminous Smoothing Oil (£16.80) as her hair must-haves.
Getty ImagesBEST BLONDE HAIR
Winner: Margot Robbie
Margot's creamy blonde is thanks to celebrity stylist Tracey Cunningham, whose clients also include Emma Stone and Gwyneth Paltrow. 'It's not as white as a platinum, but not as golden as a honey, it's more on the natural side, but still cool-toned and just really beautiful for this time of year', says Sam Burnett, Owner & Creative Director at Hare & Bone.
Getty ImagesBEST BALAYAGE
Winner: Jessica Biel
This is why balayage isn't going anywhere. Jessica's handpainted highlights look incredibly natural, as though created by the sun itself. Colourist Tracey Cunningham, used at least six shades(!) to get this colour bang on (worth it), and finished with a good dose of Olaplex, too.
Getty ImagesBEST CURLY HAIR
Winner: H.E.R
When it comes to curls, nobody is doing them bigger or better than H.E.R right now. We love how she just lets them fly free and isn't too fussed about frizz control. Embrace it!
Getty ImagesBEST HAIR TRANSFORMATION
Winner: Miley Cyrus
One minute Miley was rocking a pixie cut while licking a sledgehammer and the next she has long, blonde beach waves cascading over one shoulder. We don't know how it happened so fast, but we're obsessed with her new look!
