12 best January sales 2026, according to our Shopping Editor
While Boxing Day sales have been and gone, January sales are still going strong – and if there’s anything to distract you from that dreaded first week back at work, it’s shopping. Whether you’re after a whole new wardrobe for the New Year, stocking up on beauty empties, or improving your sleep for 2026 with a brand-new mattress, now’s the perfect time for a refresh.
TBH, I’m always a bit cautious about pushing sale shopping – especially when it’s barely 24 hours since you were unwrapping gifts like it was an Olympic sport. But if you’re using gift cards wisely, replacing things you actually need, or investing in proper staples you’ll rewear and repurpose, then I’m firmly in the “responsible browsing is basically self-care” camp.
Because yes, there’s a lot to sift through online right now — which is exactly why we’ve only pulled the crème de la crème of January sales. Y’know: glow-boosting beauty heroes from Charlotte Tilbury and Sephora, long, fluttery lashes courtesy of UKLASH, and those easy, reliable staples from H&M and ASOS that make getting dressed in January feel less like a chore. If you fancy something a bit extra, Net-a-Porter is where the designer discounts are hiding, while SKIMS has all the cosy basics you’ll wear on repeat. And don’t even get us started on the homeware offers.
Ahead, you’ll find all the juicy deets – minus the pointless doom-scrolling. You’re welcome.

Below, the best January sales 2026 across every category.
1. UKLASH January Sale
If hair (or lash) growth is on your New Year's wish list, let me put you on to UKLASH. I’ve been using the brand’s lash and hair serums for over a year now and can honestly say they’re worth the hype.
While the brand's Boxing Day sale may have been and gone, UKLASH is still treating us to 25% off today and 15% off forever for subscribers, making it the perfect time to stock up if you're already obsessed (like me). My top picks? The Lash Growth Serum and Hair Growth Serum – both total staples in my routine. And if you want an easy extra, the new Tubing Mascara in brown is so good: it gives that lifted, defined look, and it slides off with just water. Dreamy.
2. LookFantastic January Sale
Stocking over 22,000 (!) products and shipping worldwide to a whole host of countries, LookFantastic is basically a beauty-lover’s playground. From coveted perfumes to luxurious moisturisers, flawless foundations to volumising mascaras, the retailer stocks an impressive array of top-tier products from renowned brands in the beauty realm. And now, the online beauty giant has slashed up to 50% off across brands including Olaplex, Elemis, Medik8, and more.
3. Sephora January Sale
As someone who writes about beauty for a living (and spends most of her disposable income on it, too), Sephora is undoubtedly my happy place. It’s where I go to restock the icons, discover the next big thing, and – inevitably – fill a basket that was only meant to have one “essential” in it.
Seeing as there’s up to 40% off plenty of my favourite brands from Rare Beauty and Merit to Tatcha and Fenty Beauty, I’m taking this as my opportunity to replenish my empties after the party season. Below is what’s currently in my basket (with more being added as we speak).
5. Boots January Sale
Boots, the hero of the British high-street, needs no introduction – stocking brands from Made by Mitchell (of TikTok fame) and Drunk Elephant to Laneige, Estée Lauder, Byoma, Fenty Beauty and Sundae. (You know: the ones who do that picture-perfect foam-y shower gel).
There are still plenty of savings to be had, including up to 50% off 1000s of fragrances, gift sets, electricals and more.
6. ASOS January Sale
The ASOS sale is basically made for a scrolling marathon. On those “what day even is it?” days when you’ve been glued to the sofa for a bit too long, it’s the perfect chance to refresh your wardrobe for the new year.
Right now, there’s up to 70% off thousands of items — from cosy basics and winter coats to occasion dresses and cute accessories. There’s even beauty in the mix if you’re due a restock after rinsing everything for Christmas parties. NGL, ASOS can get a little overwhelming, so if you're not sure what to add to your basket, you can take some inspo from mine below.
7. Cult Beauty January Sale
We always expect great things from Cult Beauty, but boy have they delivered with this year's January sale. Simple yet effective, as with the products they stock, you can get up to 40% off selected products in the brand's sale section. It's well worth a peruse, with the likes of Saie, Hourglass and Summer Fridays included.
8. Dusk January Sale
If you’re doing up a house - or you just want a few cute bits to freshen up the room you’re bored of staring at – Dusk is the perfect place for a scroll. The sale is currently up to 50% off, plus an extra 20% off with code JAN20 across 1000+ items, from ottoman beds and cabinets to bedding, lighting and rugs that instantly make a space feel warmer.
9. Farfetch January Sale
I'm going to preface our promotion of the Farfetch January sale by saying this: just because something is on sale, it doesn't mean it's automatically affordable. If you can't afford to buy something without compromising elsewhere, then please don't. But, if you do have a little more to spend, and have a timeless investment piece on your wishlist, the Farfetch sale is a great time to pick it up for less. With designers including Maje, GANNI, Miu Miu, and Toteme all included, the Farfetch sale is live now and will serve up to 60% off premium styles.
10. Skims January Sale
When it comes to comfy loungewear and seamless underwear, Kim Kardashian knows exactly what she’s doing - even if some of her designs are, well, interesting… Yes, I’m talking about that viral nipple bra. It’s pretty rare for SKIMS to have a sale – in fact, we’re only treated to it twice per year, so it’s well-worth a look. Despite Boxing Day coming to an end, the SKIMS sale is still live with up to 50% off hundreds of items – from loungewear and underwear to shapewear and accessories.
11. Therabody January Sale
Over the past half-decade, Glamour editors have become well-acquainted with Therabody's world-leading wellness solutions. The TheraFace Mask has been crowned one of the best LED face masks on the market according to thorough testing, while their OG massage guns are heavily relied upon for relieving muscle soreness and post-workout DOMS. There's currently up to 40% off science-backed recovery, wellness and beauty favourites in the brand's New Year's sale.
12. Net-a-Porter January Sale
If that luxury designer handbag or it-girl coat has been sitting on your wishlist for far too long, the Net-a-Porter sale should be your first port of call this January. There’s currently up to 60% off, plus an extra 15% off 28,000 designer pieces – yep, they’re really not messing around this year. From The Frankie Shop and STAUD to Chloé, 16Arlington and Toteme (and so many more), it’s basically made for an hour-long doom-scroll on the sofa. We've also spotted plenty of bridal styles in the sale – so 2026 brides, it's well-worth having a look.
When do the January sales start?
January sales usually kick off as soon as the calendar flips to the New Year, so from 1 January. In reality, a lot of retailers start discounting even earlier with Boxing Day sales on 26 December, and those deals often roll straight through into January. So if you’re wondering when to start looking, the answer is basically: late December for the early bargains, and 1 January for the “official” January sale wave.
Are Boxing Day or January sales better?
It depends on what you’re shopping for. Boxing Day sales are usually best if you want the biggest discounts and the widest choice. Retailers are keen to shift stock quickly after Christmas, so popular items and core sizes tend to be more readily available.
January sales, on the other hand, are often about leftover stock. You can still find great bargains, and prices can drop further as the month goes on, but sizes, colours or styles may be more limited. January is better if you’re flexible and happy to dig around for a deal rather than hunting for something specific.
How to get the best January sale deals
The secret here is purchase planning. Don't go into the January sales like a bull in a China shop. That'll only result in unsustainable behaviour and impulse purchases. Not ideal. Instead, take a look at your wish lists, think about the pieces that are missing from your capsule wardrobe and make a list. Set yourself a budget and shop timeless.
