What is The Traitors about?
In case you've been hiding under a rock the last couple of years – basically, a group of contestants hole up together in a castle in the Scottish Highlands, with Claudia Winkleman as the presenter of the show. Some of the contestants are secret "traitors”, who must eliminate others in the group without being detected by conspiring together. And whoever wins gets a £120,000 cash prize.
When is the next Traitors episode?
The Traitors airs on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights at 9 pm, but the next episode, episode two, airs this evening at 8 pm. If you're really desperate, it's actually already available on iPlayer. The third episode airs tomorrow evening at 9pm.

When is Traitors filmed?
Although season 4 is only airing now, it was actually filmed last summer.
How to apply for The Traitors season 4
So applications for the third season closed earlier this year, but the good news is that applications for the fourth series of The Traitors opened on Thursday 22nd August 2024. There's still time to apply, as applications are due to close on 9th February 2025 and filming will take place after that.

When was The Traitors season 3 confirmed?
The BBC announced back in November 2023, ahead of series two's release, that the show had already been renewed for a third instalment. Given that season 2 was one of the most talked-about reality shows of recent times, attracting an audience of 21 million, the BBC deffo made the right call.
“The massive unscripted hit The Traitors will be back for a third series,” said Kalpna Patel-Knight, Head of Entertainment at the BBC. “Expect to see more psychological gameplay, exciting challenges and of course Claudia at the helm. It will be a thrilling ride for both avid fans and newcomers to the series for sure. The BBC will always remain faithful to The Traitors.”
