Lucy is a multi-award-winning journalist, editor, and campaigner.
During her time at Glamour, she won Best Campaign and Best Specialist Writer (Consumer) at the BSME Talent Awards, the Impact Journalist award at Refuge's Tech Safety Awards, and a PPA Next Gen Award in 2023.
She founded the Stop Image-Based Abuse campaign, in partnership with the End Violence Against Women Coalition, Not Your Porn, Jodie Campaigns, and Professor Clare McGlynn, successfully lobbying the government to criminalise 'deepfake porn', semen-defaced images, and so-called ‘nudification’ apps.
Lucy broke the news on Grok creating sexual 'deepfakes' of women – seven months before it hit the mainstream and commissioned and edited a groundbreaking investigation into sexualised images of minors on TikTok.
She has also written many high-trafficking, newsworthy celebrity and political profiles, including: Jodie Comer, Madeline Brewer, then-Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan, and Justice Minister Alex Davies Jones.
She’s previously written for Cosmopolitan, Grazia, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Women's Health, Men's Health, and Red Magazine. Her work has been syndicated across international brands, including Vogue, GQ, Teen Vogue, and Them.
