Rihanna pregnant at the Met Gala 2025 was not on our bingo card, but the star just made her highly anticipated appearance at the yearly event, and proved once again that no one does a baby reveal like our girl RiRi.
Rihanna is walked the carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City to celebrate their latest exhibition, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” exploring the evolution of Black dandyism from the 18th century until today.
But we got a peek at the mogul at the Carlyle Hotel before the Met, and her look revealed she has another guest in tow – baby number three with her partner, and the night's co-chair, A$AP Rocky.
The singer wore a two-piece ribbed skirt set by Miu Miu that allowed her belly to peek out. Baby's Met debut!
She paired the look with matching high socks, custom Giuseppe Zanotti grey pumps, a fur stole, and a black hat. It's unclear if this is her final fit, but it is clear that Rihanna's pregnant and congrats are in order.
Then, arriving fashionably late as always and closing out the red carpet, RiRi arrived wearing a grey corset with a black floor-length skirt and cropped black jacket, topped off with a black hat. Rocky arrived earlier wearing a custom all-black AWGE (his label) look.
Did you expect anything less from Rihanna? This is far from the first time the Barbadian singer and fashion mogul has revealed her impending motherhood to the world in epic fashion, with her best (still, maybe) being revealing her second pregnancy during her Super Bowl half-time show in 2023. And let's not forget that Rihanna had been pregnant with their second child, Riot when she wore that show-stopping white Valentino flower gown at the 2023 Met Gala.
She's also a veritable queen of the Met, having attended the event 10 times since 2007, even serving as co-chair in 2018.
This year, Rocky took on the leadership role alongside Anna Wintour, Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, Pharrell Williams, and honorary chair Lebron James.
Though Rihanna skipped last year's Met Gala due to an unexpected bout of the flu, her name is practically synonymous with the event due to her staunch commitment to its themes throughout the years.
This year's appearance with Rocky feels particularly celebratory as the fashionable duo made their red carpet debut as a couple at the rescheduled event back in September 2021, bundling up in mismatched coats for “In America: A Lexicon Of Fashion.”
Nearly four years later, the couple share two sons, RZA and Riot, as well as access to each other's incredible wardrobes. And now, a third child!
