We're about to be thrown back into the underbelly of the finance world, with the return of BBC series Industry on the horizon – and it finally has a UK release date.
Kit Harington has joined the cast, with exciting new and old faces arriving back for the third instalment. We've also been treated to some first look pictures, including Back To Black star Marisa Abela as Yasmin living the high life below.
The teaser pics also show Harper (Myha’la) in a new world away from Pierpoint, with new co-star Sarah Goldberg.

Industry season 3 plot
BBC's plot synopsis has got us intrigued, especially as it reveals what kind of role Kit Harington will be playing in the story of the third season.
“In season three, as Pierpoint looks to the future and takes a big bet on ethical investing, Yasmin (Marisa Abela), Robert (Harry Lawtey), and Eric (Ken Leung) find themselves front and centre in the splashy IPO of Lumi, a green tech energy company led by the British aristocrat Sir Henry Muck (Kit Harington), the embodiment of ‘old money’ privilege,” it reads.
“Since leaving Pierpoint, Harper (Myha’la) is eager to get back into the addictive thrill of finance and finds an unlikely partner in FutureDawn portfolio manager Petra Koenig (Sarah Goldberg).”
We know that Kit's role will be central to the story of season three, with Pierpoint “looking to the future and take a big bet on ethical investing”, which leads to “a story that runs all the way to the very top of finance, media and government”.

So from the plot synopsis, we know that Myha’la, Marisa Abela, Harry Lawtey and Ken Leung will be returning. Joining Kit Harington as fellow new cast members are Sarah Goldberg, Miriam Petche, Andrew Havill, Roger Barclay, Fady Elsayed and Fiona Button.
Industry season 3 release date
Industry will return for its third season on Tuesday 1 October 2024. You'll be able to watch all eight episodes on BBC iPlayer from 6am, and the first episode will air on BBC One that evening.
