Festival season has entered the chat, but finding the best plus size festival looks can be difficult when much of the fashion industry doesn't always have our size.
Fret not, though, because I'm here to show you the brands that do cater to us through some festival outfits that I'm planning on wearing throughout this summer of music, fun and (hopefully) sunshine. Whether you're a Glasto girlie and getting ready to impress the crowd with your leopard print looks and and cowboy boots for Shania Twain, or you're looking for something statement-but-comfy to wear to All Points East while you frolic in the fields to Kaytranada, I've got you.
There is more to festival fashion than glittery makeup and fringed jackets, and with so many different events going on this summer I wanted to show you some outfits that low key could work for them all – a lot of which you likely already have lying around, too.

1. CROCHET
Crochet dresses have always been a big winning for the gals at Glastonbury especially, giving that ultimate '70s Almost Famous vibe. I even spotted Poppy Delevingne wearing a very similar look to this last year. The colour pop statement pieces like the below dress from Simply Be is giving everything and more for a standout festival look. I also love the fact this dress is available in so many sizes so it's an option for nearly everyone in the group chat.
2. CO-ORDS
When it comes to a statement co-ord, Never Fully Dressed are the ones to call. There are many things I love about this brand, from the extension of their sizing to now having all sizes on the same product, instead of a separate plus-size category, this brand continues to drop the most gorgeous, trend led, dopamine hitting designs, colours and shapes to suit all silhouettes.
I am obsessed with this two-piece summer co-ord, not only can you obviously wear it together, but the top would look incredible with some '90s mom jeans and some of those Adidas trainers we are all falling for at the moment. The skirt would still look great with an oversized jumper when the sun goes down and you are still grooving in the crowd.
3. WESTERN
We all know a cowboy hat is a big contender at most festivals, not just in the UK, but if you want to extend the western vibes to your entire outfit, I've found this super fun collection from Joanie, which dabbles in that ‘yee-haw’ craze but in a much more effortless way.
I love the cut of this dress, giving a much fuller skirt and also a ruched waist and back, meaning there is room to stretch for those of us with a bigger bust. Because of this, the sizing is quite generous with this dress in particular, so often you can size down if needed.
4. SEQUINS
Casual sequins is a trend I'm loving at the moment. Throwing on a statement piece into an everyday more ‘everyday’ outfit like the one below instantly gives it that effortless, cool girl style. Band tees are perfect for this festival season, and pairing with this statement sequin skirt from Never Fully Dressed and even these fluro Crocs sandals is my ultimate “I've just thrown this look together and I'm going to see my favourite singer” vibe. Remember, sequins aren't just for Christmas.
5. BOLD PRINTS
I've definitely hit that time of my life where slouchy pieces are at the forefront of my wardrobe – long gone are the days of ill-fitting statement silhouettes. A bold print on a comfortable set, though? Match made in heaven. If you're glamping over at a festival this year, comfort will be key, and this two piece set from Simply Be will be the ultimate last day look with oversized shades and either your trainers or trusted wellies.
