Women's cowboy boots remain the fashion set's faves – here are 15 we're shopping

This ain't Texas, but we will be wearing cowboy boots.

Take last year's runways of Molly Goddard and Louis Vuitton for example; from shirts with contrasting seams and embroidered yokes to studded suede leather jackets, the cowboy trend says go big or go home. But if you're not a die-hard western fan we've also seen designers like IFM make a case for pairing them with a paired back t-shirt look. Basically, anything goes.

Elsewhere, echoing the traditional tooled leather details of authentic cowboy boots again, this we're seeing stacked Cuban heels (which slant slightly) and elongated pointed toes as key details. From there, though, its a free-for-all. Whether you're looking for knee-high or ankle boots, there's a style for every preference.

Traditional black, tan, dark brown and sandy shades are all valid colours if you’re looking to add a pair of cowboy boots to your everyday rotations – even more so if you're still apprehensive and don't want to go too bold too fast – but we’ve also spotted gold, silver and colour-block iterations. This isn't our first rodeo.
