Following on from its wildly popular debut, Netflix's anthology series Beef is back for a second instalment – this time starring acting titans Carey Mulligan and Oscar Isaac, as well as Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny.
Created by screenwriter and director Lee Sung Jin, season 2 of the A24 show explores generational divides, the broken healthcare system in America and the frightening fallout of cosmetic surgery tourism and impossible beauty standards.
As well as featuring heated arguments, gripping espionage scenes and all-out action sequences, Beef season 2 has a pretty banging soundtrack to go with it – complete with Noughties drum and bass classics, modern pop anthems and alt indie tunes.
Olympic athletes, musicians and a very famous spouse.

What's more, Finneas O'Connell was also hand-selected by the show's creator to score the 8-episode series. Of the decision, he said: “Finneas is the brilliant mind behind most of the music that has soundtracked my personal life over the last decade, so it’s an absolute honour to collaborate with him on the new season."
O'Connell, meanwhile, added that he was “very honoured and proud to be a part of it” and that he “probably watched every scene 100 times while I scored the show, and I felt it every time." He's also one of the celebrity cameos in Beef.
