Age-gap relationships seem to be all the rage right now. From Babygirl to Vladimir to Bridget Jones 4, they seem to be all over our screens. And now, those on-screen age-gap relationships aren't just fictional. With Age of Attraction, Netflix is treating us to age-gap relationships, reality TV-style. After all, they've already proven that love can sometimes be blind — can it also be ageless?
Age of Attraction hosts Nick Viall and Natalie Joy certainly think so. The IRL married couple who are leading the cast of singles through their age-blind dating experience have a pretty significant age gap between them — and are trying to prove to the cast and to viewers at home that, sometimes, age is just a number when it comes to love.

Nick Viall and Natalie Joy are a real-life success story when it comes to age-gap relationships.
Viall is an actor who has had his fair share of experience in the world of reality TV dating. He appeared on The Bachelorette as a contestant in 2014 and returned as a guest bachelor in 2015. In 2016, he appeared in Bachelor in Paradise and was later the star of season 21st season of The Bachelor.
Viall finally found love off-screen with Natalie Joy, a model and surgical technologist, in July 2020 after she DM'ed him on Instagram. The pair announced their engagement in January 2023. That August, they announced they were expecting their first child together and in February, 2024, they welcomed daughter River Rose Viall. They married in April 2024.

And about that age-gap. Viall is 44 and Joy is 26, giving them an 18-year difference.
"We obviously have an age gap and it's something that has been talked about, whether good, whether bad," Joy told E!."This [show] is something that going into it — it's a bright light on age differences and relationships of age differences."
Added Viall, "Speaking about Natalie and I, it's the most compatible relationship I've ever had. I could go on and on about it. We spend a lot of time together — our free time, raising our daughter, we enjoy doing things together. We have a great connection.”
