“Some of my favourite summery pieces in my wardrobe are vintage – in the 70s and 80s, colour was in. You don't need to spend hours trawling vintage stores and charity shops though (although why wouldn't you?); sites such as Etsy and eBay are full of vintage retailers and one-off treasures from independent sellers. Shops such as Rokit and Beyond Retro have really upped their digital game in recent years, too.”

They're destined to be abandoned in the pub garden, scratched to oblivion in the cavernous depths of my bag, and just generally neglected because I'm an adult child who can't have nice things.
