The Vanity Fair Oscar after-party 2026: all the best celebrity red carpet looks
Is this a safe place to say the Vanity Fair Oscar after-party looks often outshine the actual dresses worn to the Academy Awards? Well, we're going to say it anyway. And, of course, the 2026 Oscars was no different.
Perhaps it's the less restrictive dress code or the fact that the party itself feels like one giant exhale after gruelling months of campaigning in sophisticated suits and gowns that say, “I am worthy of such esteem.”

Once those final gold men are doled out, it's finally time to return the million dollar jewellery pieces to security and slip into something that says, “I won! Let's do shots!” or “I lost, but I'm still the chicest person in this room.” Or even, “I wasn't invited to the ceremony, but I'm too culturally relevant to keep off this guest list.” We're not naming names…
One Battle After Another swept this year's Academy Awards.

Earlier in the evening, during the official Oscars 2026 red carpet, we saw Jessie Buckley take home the award for best actress in a Chanel gown reminiscent of Grace Kelly. But what did she wear to the Vanity Fair Oscar after-party?
And what about best supporting actress nominee Teyana Taylor, who dominated every single red carpet this award season before arriving at the Oscars in a feather-y custom look, also by Chanel?
We'd be lying if we said this wasn't a red carpet that we spend all awards season looking forward to.
Here's all the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscar after-party looks you need to see.
