STEP ONE: Skin
To perfect this look skin should be fresh, clean and (almost) makeup free. Start by applying Paul & Joe's Protective Foundation Primer (£16,<a href=http://www.asos.com target=_new> www.asos.com</a>) and using Givenchy's Perfect Again! complexion-correcting palette (£23.10, stockists: 01932 233 824) for an even skin tone. A touch of Chanel's Lift Lumiere Concealer (£30, <a href=http://www.chanel.com target=_new> www.chanel.com</a>) will smooth any under-eye shadows and give your skin a youthful glow.
Finish prepping skin by applying Laura Mercier’s Secret Camouflage to hide any imperfections and brighten under eyes. The two tones mix to match complexion perfectly – use a foundation brush to ensure a smooth coverage.
£25, <a href=http://www.harrods.com target=_new> www.harrods.com</a>
For an all-over matte finish try Bobbi Brown's Foundation Stick (£25.50) or Oil-Free Even Finish Compact Foundation (£25.50). Apply and smooth with a foundation sponge for all-over even coverage that will be a great base for the Parisian look.

Finish with a sweep of this gorgeous Teint Innocent powder compact (£32) and carry with you at all times to make sure you LOOK the part too!

STEP TWO: Eyes
The key to this look is all in the eye liner. Lashings of liner on the upper lid finishing in delicate flicks are bang on-trend. We’ve picked our favourite liners for you to try. Clinique do a great Eye Defining Liquid Liner (pictured, £11,<a href=http://www.clinique.co.uk target=_new> www.clinique.co.uk</a>) and a Brush On Cream Liner (£12) that’s good for creating heavy, dramatic sweeps. Or if you are short of cash try the GLAMOUR.com office’s secret weapon: Collection 2000’s Fast Stroke Liquid Eyeliner (only £2.99 at Superdrug!)
Urban Decay’s Ink for Eyes (£14) is great for creating precise statement lines on your top lid. Use the smudging brush in the evening to give eyes a smoky look. Keep it simple with Urban Decay’s Liquid Liner (£12) and just add a simple sweep across the upper eye lid.
<a href=http://www.debenhams.com target=_new> www.debenhams.com</a>
Try a little pot of liner and a fine eye liner brush to get a really precise finish. We love these versions from Lancome (Ink Artliner, £19, <a href=http://www.lancome.co.uk target=_new> www.lancome.co.uk</a>) and RMK (Ingenious Gel Liner, £19, <a href=http://www.lookfantastic.com target=_new> www.lookfantastic.com</a>). They are easy to use and will last all day.

STEP THREE: Lashes
To finish off eyes add a simple sweep of mascara. We love these volumising versions from Lancome and Too Faced. Lancome’s Hypnose (£19.50, <a href=http://www.lancome.co.uk target=_new> www.lancome.co.uk</a>) gives lashes up to six times more volume with just one application. Similarly, Too Faced Lash Injection (£13.50, <a href=http://www.asos.com target=_new> www.asos.com</a>) plumps lashes and gives a great waterproof coverage.
Combine Bourjois’s Liner Effect Mascara (£8.31) and eyeshadows in Noir Precieux or Gris Paillettes (£5.86) for a classic Parisian look with a smoky evening edge. Just a simple line of the shadow along your top lash line and lashings of the mascara should do the trick.

STEP FOUR: Lips
To add some wow-factor to the Parisian look, add with a slick of red lippie. Opt for Chanel’s Rouge Allure in Enthusiast (£21.50) for a clean, bold red that will stay strong for hours (line with Levres Scintillantes for a perfect finish: £18, <a href=http://www.chanel.com target=_new> www.chanel.com</a>). Slick on Nars’ bold and beautiful lipstick in Red Lizard (£17, <a href=http://www.narscosmetics.co.uk target=_new> www.narscosmetics.co.uk</a>) for a fresh glossy colour, or try Paul & Joe’s gorgeous lippie for a classic Parisian look (<a href=http://www.asos.com target=_new> www.asos.com</a>).
For a softer look in the day try a soft but strong shade of pink, by the ever-chic Paul & Joe. Try shades 08 or 04 for a soft, girly look. We are addicted!

STEP FIVE: Fragrance
Just a simple spritz of fragrance is all you need to finish this beauty trend. Why not make it Chanel’s gorgeous Coco Mademoiselle (£54 for 50ml, <a href=http://www.chanel.com target=_new> www.chanel.com</a>). C’est Parisienne, mes amis.
