Every single film and TV show that's coming to – and leaving – Netflix this June
June is (almost) here, which means it's officially summer – but that doesn't mean that Netflix no longer plays a starring role in our upcoming plans. Yes, there will be sunny days in the park, alfresco picnics and festivals galore, but there's also the inevitable rainy weekends ahead which will have us craving sofa days and binge-watching sessions. Netflix, you'll always have our hearts.
Netflix has rated the Marilyn Monroe Biopic 18+
As ever, the streaming platform will welcome new TV shows and movies in June, as well as saying farewell to others. We'll finally get to see J Lo's documentary, Jennifer Lopez: Halftime, which will chart her career up until now at the age of 50 (including her momentous performance at the Super Bowl). There's also a new series starring Melissa McCarthy coming, and Pete Davidson's latest comedy show will launch on Netflix around mid-June – which will see him "reflect on the recent chaos in his life", according to reviews.
Film-wise, legendary 1994 movie Dumb and Dumber is officially hitting Netflix, as is Spiderhead, Chris Hemsworth's twisted new thriller.
Oh how we've missed Mindy Kaling's heart-warming high school comedy…
Sadly, we'll also see a number of shows and movies leaving Netflix in June 2022, including Bad Education, Housewives of Atlanta and noughties Adam Sandler classic Anger Management.

The wait is over! J Lo's candid documentary will finally launch on Netflix on June 14, charting her journey over the years – from her music and film career to tabloid headlines and relationships (interviews with fiancé Ben Affleck included). One word: epic.
NETFLIXSpiderhead
This twisty science-fiction thriller is a little different to Chris Hemsworth's usual Marvel epics, but we reckon it's set to be popular. Based on George Saunders' short story Escape from Spiderhead, the film explores questions of free will and the authenticity of emotions in a dystopian world – as convicts undergo drug trials that cause mind-altering effects in exchange for shortened prison sentences.

Fans of The Umbrella Academy will be excited to see it finally return after three years. If you're unfamiliar, the show is about a dysfunctional family of adopted sibling superheroes, with Elliot Page starring.

If you're a fan of Pete Davidson's sarcastic humour, put a note in your diary for June 14, when his latest comedy show drops on Netflix. Filmed earlier in 2022 during the Netflix Is A Joke festival, it's thought Pete will riff on recent events in his life including his relationship with Kim Kardashian, as well as introducing performances from other popular comedians. There's a surprise musical performance, too, apparently.

When one Adam Sandler movie (Anger Management) leaves Netflix, another arrives, apparently. The actor's latest film sees him play a basketball scout who discovers a a once-in-a-lifetime player with a rocky past abroad – taking it upon himself to bring him to the States without his team’s approval. It's a nice blend between drama and comedy (a sweet spot for Adam), and also stars Queen Latifah, who makes any movie infinitely better in our opinion.
