The Met Gala is always a show-stopping display of the latest fashion and beauty trends with bespoke couture creations and experimental makeup galore, so it's little wonder why we're left feeling so inspired to grab our makeup brushes and get creative.

LARGER THAN LIFE LASHES
Never one to do things by halves, Lady Gaga wowed not only with a strip tease of four outfits as she walked the pink carpet, but also with her extreme, 3D, multi-layered lashes. Part scary and spiky, part ethereal and elegant, we really hope the larger than life lash catches on...
Crown and caged dress aside, Priyanka Chopra's makeup legit made us double take. Those metallic brows, the bold berry lip, the lit-from-within skin. But perhaps most striking was her frosty, crystal-adorned lashes, which made the look even more striking.
Speaking of striking, Gigi's icicle lashes gave us ultimate chills - in the best possible way. Strong, chic and sassy AF.
SUPER SHADOW
Given the theme of Camp, it's hardly surprising that there was a rainbow of bold eyeshadows throughout the night and the look perfectly ties into the wider 80s makeup trend that is so popular at the moment. Take inspo from Lily Collins and keep the rest of your makeup minimal to concentrate the focus on the eyes.
We couldn't love Lupita Nyong'o's beauty look more. The golden afro combs adorning her hair, the glossy shade on her lips, and her painted on brows and glistening shadow. If there's anything we can learn from Lupita's look, it's that more is definitely more.
BEJEWELLED HAIR
If anyone knows how to glow, it's J-Lo. Case in point, this bejewelled, dazzling headdress to match her glittering Versace gown.
