She previously revealed her issues with gluten, saying: “A few years ago, the kids and I did muscle testing and found out we have sensitivities to both gluten and dairy. After speaking with my doctor and doing some research, I decided to try a gluten- and dairy-free diet.

“Once I found good ingredient swaps and started stocking my pantry and fridge with the best alternatives—like almond milk, tortillas made from sweet potatoes, gluten-free waffle ingredients for the kids, dairy-free shredded cheese, etc. Eating this way became easier and a lifestyle choice that works for me and my family.”

It comes after the 38-year-old took to her app to share the wellbeing ritual she swears by - and dairy, gluten and sugar are off the menu.

Kourtney eats three low-carb meals a day but shuns grains, beans and legumes in favour of healthy vegetables.

So what's on the menu? Breakfast consists of her signature creamy avocado pudding, which is made using an avocado, one tablespoon of cane sugar, half a cup of milk and her beloved Manuka honey.

For lunch she loves fish with cauliflower rice and dinner is chicken with broccoli. A portion of almonds suffices as a snack and Kourtney always leaves 14 hours between her evening and morning meal.

If she really wants to go on a health kick, Kourtney does a 24-hour fast once a week and sips solely bone broth and water.

Discussing the fast, she admitted: 'I’m not going to sugarcoat it, this detox is difficult. I also know that I need to enjoy my life, so I break the rules when I go on vacation or if there’s a special occasion.'
