55 vegan celebrities inspiring us to adopt a plant-based diet

Vegan celebrities have played a huge part in many of us toying with the idea of going plant-based.
While veganism has become a major health and wellness mainstay over the past few years, the influential power of celebrities ditching meat and dairy has greatly inspired people to adopt a plant-based lifestyle - and this year alone, thousands of Brits have switched over!
In the world of Hollywood, Kourtney Kardashian has her husband, Travis Barker, a committed vegan, to thank for slowly introducing her to a plant-based diet. Couple goals. And Stranger Things star Sadie Sink is inspiring a whole new generation of foodies with her veganism.
Also, last year, there was no greater power than Billie Eilish, one of the biggest stars in the music industry, sharing that she’s been vegan for "damn, seven years". She said during a Thanksgiving post: "And now, even though I have lots of friends that eat dairy and meat, and I don't ever want to tell anybody what to do, I just can't go on in my life knowing what's going on in the animal world and like, not doing anything about it."

Billie also shared a snap of herself cradling a Turkey on her Instagram Story, writing: “Turkeys are some of the most gentle creatures in the world, and 46 million of them are killed every Thanksgiving… I know it's hard to change traditions but just keep it in mind.”
Another big name, Katy Perry after giving birth to ger first child Daist, tweeting in early 2021: "I’m about 95% ready to be 100% VEGAN... my dog Nugget has been joining me on this journey for the past 4 monthz. Pray for us ok".
While many fans have praised Katy's commitment to adopting a plant-based diet, others have questioned whether it's healthy to make her dog follow one as well, with comments such as: "Dogs can’t be vegan. It’s very bad for them. They need meat in their diet."
