As Jennifer Aniston celebrates her birthday, this is why we're still obsessing over the outfit choices of her most stylish character to date
As Jennifer Aniston celebrates her 52nd birthday (!), we've found ourselves feeling pretty nostalgic. And the perfect way to feed that nostalgia (and satisfy those sartorial cravings that come hand-in-hand with having no where to go) is to drool over the outfits of her most stylish character/the most stylish Friend of the bunch: Rachel Green.
Played by Jennifer Aniston herself, she’s the style star of the group who is still giving us all the wardrobe inspo a whole 25 years after she first appeared on our screens. And when better than Jen-An's bday to recreate her looks?
She evolved from a puff-sleeve-adorned runaway bride to a fashion exec with serious style credentials (and gigs at Bloomingdale’s and Ralph Lauren under her belt), guiding us through the formative years of 1994-2004 when us millennials needed all the fashion tips we could get.

More than a quarter of a decade later and our favourite character’s style archives are still packed full of looks we should all be copying - not least those which are work from home appropriate.
Rachel nails the jeans and a white t-shirt combo which will make you feel like you’re going somewhere, even when you’re absolutely not, and her favoured dad shirt/combat trouser combo (as seen at Ganni and & Other Stories this season) is the perfect middle ground between pyjamas and Zoom-appropriate attire.
When the Coronavirus crisis passes (sooner rather than later, we hope), Rachel’s enduring style is ready and waiting for us to copy. Prim, proper and preppy checks for the office? You bet. Get adding all of these pieces to your saved lists, because those statement blazers will make transitional dressing a total breeze.
