The 90s supermodel blowout is going to be the hottest hairstyle, according to GLAMOUR columnist Jen Atkin
Fashion Month has been a whirlwind of diverse catwalks, celebrity comebacks (nice to see you again, Cardi B), mega street style, and more new beauty trends than you can shake an eyeliner at.
Luckily for us, our resident hair columnist (and hair supremo to the Kardashians and Chrissy Teigen), Jen Atkin, was on hand at Fashion Week to get the low-down on all the latest trends. Hey, she was even inventing some herself.
We grilled the hair expert on all things hair, fashion week and 2019's trends so you can get ahead of the curve.
What is the one hair trend we are all going to be wearing on the back of fashion month?
Fashion loves a bit of nostalgia and it seems beauty does, too. Jen believes we'll be looking to the 90s for our styling inspo next season.
"90s supermodels hair is what I think we’re going to be seeing a lot of. Pretty blowouts, layers, and effortless tousled ponytails," she said.

What’s your new favourite styling technique that will give us the best hair of our lives?
Love a quirky hair hack? Of course you do! Luckily Jen has plenty of tricks up her sleeve. The latest? "For a natural looking wavy/curly texture, I’ve been wrapping pieces of hair up into small rolls and flat ironing, once released, it leaves a pretty curl.
What are the 5 products you can’t live without for styling hair?
Jen can't live without the Dyson Supersonic Blow Dryer to create that epic 90s blowout we all want, the Anastasia Pro Brow Palette to fill sparse areas (genius), the OUAI Wave Spray to create texture, the Hair Shop Clip in Extensions for added length and the Balmain Session Strong Hairspray to hold things in place.
If a model or celebrity's hair is totally wrecked after fashion month, what haircare regime will restore it?
Jen swears by using the OUAI Treatment Masque at least once a week for deep restoration. "The masque is designed to combat the damage of constant heat styling and chemical damage, leaving strands soft and smooth after just one use," she notes.
