Since they first hit the runway in 2014, faux freckles have become quite a thing. From the introduction of freckle pencils on makeup stands, to celebs embracing their natural skin tone (Kylie Jenner, we're looking at you) the trend has continued to spiral.

Now people are going to extreme lengths to get the look, with semi-permanent freckle tattoos - and we're not sure how we feel about them. They last three months, and look quite scary before they've had time to heal.
