Proof that Harry Styles is one of the best-dressed men on the planet
Harry Styles has already established himself as one of the most talented multi-hyphenates in the game at just 29-years-old.
After a shaky start on The X Factor, he's long since proved his singing credentials, with ‘Watermelon Sugar’ topping the charts in 2019 (not to mention his illustrious One Direction career), and has branched out into the world of acting – even joining the Marvel cinematic universe, and starring in former girlfriend Olivia Wilde's Don't Worry Darling.
But it's Harry's fashion credentials that we're truly obsessed with. He's come a long way since sporting Jack Wills hoodies and baggy jeans on The X Factor. Fast forward twelve years, and Harry Styles is the man that all the designers want to dress, and for good enough reason.
Stars are ripping up the maternity fashion rulebook, and we are so here for it.
Take the 2023 Brit Awards, where Harry stole the show in a dapper black seventies-style suit with a statement corsage bow. I mean, what else did we expect because he kills it every year at the BRITs?! But we also love casual Harry. I mean, who can forget his low-key yet still impossibly stylish looks while out on walks with ex-Olivia?
However, if we're talking about Harry's style evolution, we absolutely need to discuss the early years: 2014, 2015, and 2016 (the year he left the band to go it alone) – when Harry's sartorial rulebook was made up of skinny jeans, Chelsea boots, tuxedo jackets, patterned shirts, lots of bandanas and silk scarves (and, of course, that enviable head of curls). If Saint Laurent designed it, Harry Styles wore it.
Then came the 2017 Gucci renaissance – also around the time Harry Styles's Curls™ were cut for his role in the film Dunkirk – which saw Harry's typically boy-band aesthetic evolve into a much more adventurous approach to fashion, one that has since been praised for challenging and blurring gender norms through style. In 2018, Harry became the face of Gucci’s Cruise 2019 Tailoring Campaign, then at the 2019 Met Gala, he wore a sheer, lacy Gucci blouse accessorised with a single pearl earring. In December 2020, Harry appeared on the cover of US Vogue wearing a blue Gucci dress paired with a Gucci tuxedo jacket.
If all models were expected work with designers aligned with their values, most would be out of the job. But Julia Fox isn't most models.
And these last few years, as his star power has continued to rise, there has been the era of Harry taking to the stage in glittering, sequinned and colourful ensembles that have dazzled us.

Kevin MazurHarry went for military chic as he attended a photocall for his movie Don't Worry Darling in New York in September 2022. He added a pair of navy pinstripe trousers to the look and, of course, an array of chunky gold rings.
Axelle/Bauer-GriffinWhile it wasn't his usual colourful glamour, Harry proved he could still do simple sophistication well in an all-black ensemble at the Los Angeles premiere of his movie My Policeman.

Dave J HoganWe love a good purple moment, and we're thankful to Harry for giving us just that. The star dazzled Coventry in May as he took to the stage at Radio 1's Big Weekend concert in a purple sequinned jumpsuit that showed off his tattoos.
Kevin MazurIt looks like a casual ensemble at first glance, but on further inspection, Harry's duck-stitched cardigan by Ruth Herring had us quacking with delight. Pairing the cardi with a white top and jeans at a Spotify party in May, Harry once again proved he was the king of quirky fashion.
Cindy OrdThere's no one who matches prints and colours quite like Harry. We're berry much living for this Gucci strawberry motif-print top, neon green trousers and chunky matching necklace look that Harry wore for his Howard Stern interview in May.
Kevin MazurHarry ensured to out-influence all the influencers at the Coachella music festival in April 2022. Taking to the stage in a full rainbow-sequinned jumpsuit by Gucci, the star ensured that the disco era was well and truly alive. It was definitely another seq-WIN for him!
