“I think the secret is having clean lashes – clumps are no good. I use a comb with metal teeth if necessary and apply just one layer of Grow Luscious [£9.99 Revlon] for day, then if I’m going somewhere at night, I usually reapply for the perfect amount of drama. I also use a lash curler, and am always looking for new natural or organic skincare products to care for my eyes. I’ve found that a cream or oil-based make-up remover works best. “Perfume is part of dressing up – it makes you feel unique. You want a smell that sets you apart; it’s a way to identify yourself. I used to love vanilla scents when I was in my teens, but I’ve gone more floral now.
I am a one-perfume kind of girl. I only wear it on special occasions – it’s not a daily thing for me. It’s good to have one scent, then people notice you when you walk into a room. My favourite smell is jasmine. When I was in Tunis shooting Star Wars, children would run up to me to sell jasmine – it was the most sultry scent. My mother taught me to spray perfume into the air and walk into it – that’s still how I wear it now.”

“The secret is... there is no secret! You must look after your hair as best as you can. My top tips?1. Have it trimmed regularly.
2. If you colour it, colour it regularly.

The make-up tricks
“I apply a tiny bit of foundation right after applying lots of moisturiser [try Lair-Crème Concentre £15.95 Embryolisse] so they blend together and look way more natural. I don’t use foundation to hide my skin, just to give a more uniform look. That’s why I use Teint Miracle [£26 lancome.co.uk] – it just gives an extra glow to the skin. When I have an imperfection, I use Touche Eclat [£24.50 Yves Saint Laurent] – it really is a miracle worker. Then lots of mascara and eyeliner. I apply a few coats in a row before it dries. I sometimes use an eyelash curler, but I think lashes look more sultry without them. I almost feel naked if I’m not wearing mascara or eyeliner day and night!”The skincare regime
