Some GIRLS got style... We ogle the cast's best looks ahead of the finale

Let it be said, we love Girls. Sharp, laugh-out-loud funny and painfully honest, we've also completely fallen in love with its four main stars. So without further ado, we ogle the off-set style of Lena Dunham, Zosia Mamet, Jemima Kirke and Allison Williams, ahead of the season finale (cries a million tears)...
Getty ImagesProving that she's well and truly in with the style set, Allison Williams was one of the many A-List attendees at the 2017 DVF Awards. The stunner was the classiest lady in the room at the in an off-shoulder monochrome dress. Blown away.
Getty ImagesObsessed is a strong word but it's relevant when describing our love for Jemima Kirke's style. Jemima attended the TimesTalks: HBO's 'Girls' Farewell in a parachute-sleeved button up dress in a gorgeous blue colour.
Getty ImagesLena Dunham rocked up to the Human Rights Campaign's 2017 Gala in a Hollywood glam LBD and pin-up red heels.
Getty ImagesTrouser suit goals were given by Allison at the Sun Valley Film Festival in March 2017. We love this check bad boy.
Getty ImagesAt a Tiffany & Co. event in March 2017, Zosia showed off her fashion forward style in a super long belt (big trend, fyi).
Getty ImagesJemima went to The Little Hours premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in a pretty floral dress and huge coat.
Getty ImagesAttending Variety's Power of Women dinner in New York, Lena Dunham stunned in a sequin shift dress with intricate Aztec design and navy strapped doll shoes.
Rex FeaturesAllison Williams shows off her slim frame at the Groundbreaker Awards gala in this belted, pocketed - oh - and even collared black smock, and some sultry locks to boot.
Rex FeaturesJemima Kirke is probably the only GIRL on the planet who can wear rose pink dress and SCREAM cool. Her and GIRLS pal, Allison Williams made a stylish appearance at the Groundbreaker Awards gala.
Rex FeaturesCo-stars Lena Dunham and Allison Williams looked the ultimate BFFs at the It's Me, Hilary - The Man Who Drew Eloise film screening in NYC. Looking good, girls!
Rex FeaturesCould we love Jemima Kirke's brand of bohemian cool any more? Well, the answer is probably not because the actress-come-painter have carved out a kind of red carpet that is all her own and this gorgeous verdant slip dress, complete with her long Rapunzel locks is just great.
Rex FeaturesAllison Williams attended at the Dior Cruise show in New York in May 2014, looking gorgeous in a monochromatic jacket and gown ensemble from the label, the actress topped off her look with a dramatic smokey eye.
Rex FeaturesOur favourite GIRLS were back on the red carpet to toast their third series success in LA, and they didn't disappoint us with their chosen outfits. First up, Jemima Kirke keeps it cool in a printed midi dress, hot red heels and a slick of matching lipstick.
Rex FeaturesNext up, Lena Dunham cuts a striking figure in a white eye-print mini.
Rex FeaturesZosia Mamet tries on the androgynous vibe for her red carpet appearance. We like stars who experiment with their style.
Rex FeaturesLast but definitely not least, Allison Williams looks drop-dead beautiful in loose-fit cropped trousers and a white shirt. We can't stop looking at this picture.
Getty ImagesAhead of her keynote speech at SXSW in Texas in March 2014, Lena upped the style ante in this printed shift and directional red shoes.
Getty ImagesMeanwhile, back in New York, Zosia wrapped up against the chilly weather in this VERY grey outfit.
Rex FeaturesZosia Mamet’s off-set style is so removed from her character Shoshanna’s that we’re constantly surprised by her edgy, New York looks and this all black outfit with blood red heels is another superb sartorial outing for Zosia.
Rex FeaturesAllison Williams looked her usual elegant self for an appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman in New York in January. The pretty white dress, the elegant black coat, the T-bar heels... We want it all.
PA PhotosAfter unveiling her first, ever American Vogue cover the previous day, Lena Dunham made another stylish turn in monochrome lace at the UK premiere of the third season of GIRLS.
GettyTrust resident-glamazon Allison Williams to bring some serious high fashion drama to the event. Allison made a departure from her character Marnie Michaels’ style in this Alexander McQueen creation.
GettyBut our best dressed of the night, probably had to be Zosia Mamet, who wore this Elisabetta Franchi strapless jumpsuit with peplum detail.
PA PhotosEver the boho beauty, Jemima Kirke wore an ethereal vintage-look gown to attend the Golden Globes.
Getty ImagesLike many-an-A-Lister on the Golden Globes 2014 red carpet, Allison Williams opted for a monochrome look, wearing an Alexander McQueen dress for her turn at the annual awards bash.
PA PhotosLena Dunham surprised us all though in this striking yellow fishtail gown from Zac Posen - and looked like a little ray of sunshine, in the process!
Getty ImagesUsually guaranteed to be rocking a quirky little number, Zosia Mamet instead chose a ladylike Reem Acra gown for her appearance at the ceremony. Shoshanna would be so proud!
Rex FeaturesLooking sleek, chic and unashamedly high-fash, the fab four were pictured all together at the Season 3 launch of GIRLS at New York’s Lincoln Center in early 2014.
Rex FeaturesVintage style maven Jemima Kirke never fails to make a splash on the red carpet and the Season 3 launch was no exception. Taking to the red carpet in a satin embroidered gown, Jemima accessorised the look with a slick of red lipstick and a metallic cuff.
Rex FeaturesWhen you’ve got a killer blow-dry and some lust-worthy accessories adoring your extremities, Zosia Mamet knows that all you need is a simple LBD to complete the look.
PA PhotosAs the star/writer/director of the show, it was only right that Lena Dunham shone in Rochas sequins for the launch of season 3. The fashion maverick opted for this silver princess gown with matching shoes.
PA PhotosLooking beautiful in powder blue, Allison Williams’ cleverly teamed her satin frock with a pair of dusty pink courts.
Rex FeaturesCosying up for the cameras, real-life BFFs Jemima Kirke and Lena Dunham looked ethereal in their shimmering gowns.
Rex FeaturesPushing the fashion envelope more and more, Lena Dunham stunned in this monochromatic sharp, tailored suit.
Rex FeaturesAnd going for something a little different again for an appearance on the Late Show With David Letterman, the 27-year-old actress chose an oversized midi dress and longline leather jacket.
Rex FeaturesThere’s nothing quite like a long statement coat to add an instant injection of winter style into any outfit; Allison’s grey coat was stylishly accompanied by a mini LWD and those leg-lengthening dusty pink heels again.
Rex FeaturesFact: we love any GIRL (ahem, Zosia), who makes velvet slippers an evening style staple. Props.
GettyThis is what we like to see! Zosia Mamet, or Shosh, smashing one of the silliest styles rules: never wear pink and red. If it looks this good, why not?
PA PhotosYou wouldn’t be blamed for thinking GIRLS star Allison Williams is in character as Marnie, wearing a polished uptown look as she hops into a cab in NYC.
Rex FeaturesShoshanna's wardrobe might be all bows, prim pumps and girly sparkles, but real life alter-ego <a href=https://beautysale.store/celebrity/biographies/zosia-mamet target=_new>Zosia Mamet</a> takes a different approach to her outfits. We spotted her looking as hip as they come in this heart print top and blue pointy loafers from New York label Honor's autumn/winter collection, matched with bedhead hair, fuchsia lippy and some mismatched jewellery.
Getty ImagesA far cry from Hannah's festival-inspired wardrobe, Lena Dunham knocked our socks off when she went for full length and fabulous at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards. She wore an off-the-shoulder silk gown by Zac Posen, and though plum was unusual hue of choice, the colour managed to temper the high-octane glamour of the dress - making it all Lena’s own.
Getty ImagesAnd for their first big year at awards season, Lena’s co-stars were also on great red carpet form at the Golden Globes. Although Zosia Mamet was one of the few stars who opted for black - wearing a modernistic leather-panelled column dress by Tony Ward Couture - this fierce take on red carpet dressing is as far removed from Shoshanna’s velour tracksuits as it gets.
Getty ImagesAllison Williams is fast-emerging as the all-American poster girl, but this black gown with a plunging deep V-neckline by J. Mendel was leagues edgier than the prim style of her alter-ego Marnie Michaels.
GettyJemima Kirke had just given birth to her second baby, so whilst she was on maternity leave, the other three (plus, writer/producer Jennifer Konner) revelled in the show’s success on the night, which saw it awarded Best Comedy TV Series.
Rex FeaturesHowever, blurring the lines between her Bohemian character Jessa and her real life persona, Jemima Kirke’s maternity wardrobe in late 2012, was all kinds of awesome. The actress took to the red carpet in this dramatic, black velvet gown which skimmed over her growing bump.
Rex FeaturesWhilst we can’t imagine Hannah Horvath having occasion to wear a postbox-red mini, this sleek and smart version of Hannah’s beloved loose-fitting mini dresses was a nice nod to her character. Meanwhile, we totally dug Lena’s matching scarlet lips and fierce strappy heels.
Rex FeaturesSporting newly-blonde locks in early 2013 (for a theatre role, natch), this simple, form-fitting red dress signalled a bit of a transformation for Miss Mamet. This long-sleeved number was more sophisticated than Shoshanna's cutesy style – but we loved it.
Rex FeaturesProving she can do edgy with the rest of ‘em, Allison Williams wowed in this blue Oscar De La Renta gown, which she teamed with Elvis-approved rock’n’roll blue suede shoes.
Rex FeaturesBut it seems jewel-colours were done by co-star Jemima, first. Once again displaying an alarmingly awesome aptitude for making velvet look "bladdy" amazing, the cast’s resident Rapunzel let this ornately detailed dress do the talking.
Rex FeaturesWoah, man! Where’s Hannah? Lena well and truly put her own stamp on red carpet dressing at last year’s GLAMOUR Awards in the US. Going for a simple navy and white frock by Roksanda Illincic, Lena’s sharp tailoring and super accessories make this look all her own.
Rex FeaturesZosia’s butter-wouldn’t-melt baby pink shift with crazy-cute heart-detail neckline is kept edgy and on-trend thanks to Shosh’s (sorry, we mean Zosia, obvi) no-nonsense, pulled-back hairstyle and quirkier-than-thou sky blue flats. Did someone call for a fashion icon?
Rex FeaturesAll-Wills (stay with us; we’re trying it out) upped her fashion quotient big time at a Tom Ford cocktail bash (well, you just would, wouldn’t you?) in this black and white embroidered frock and power platforms.
Getty ImagesNever one to shy away from colour (we love that, FYI) Jemima – who fast-became our maternity wear idol – looked pretty darn fabulous in this red, oriental-inspired maxi dress in late 2012.
Rex FeaturesAt a charity event in New York, Lena Dunham took part in a Q&A in some rather fab togs. Nodding to her famous character’s wardrobe with a sunny, printed cotton dress, Lena upped the fash factor with a tailored leather jacket and some pretty badass brogues.
Rex FeaturesWe basically tried doing this look all winter; but you can bet your bottom dollar we certainly didn’t do it with as much panache as the lovely Zosia Mamet. Making her newly-blonde locks the big statement, the actress dressed for NYC’s biting winter chill, layering bold printed trousers and a crisp white shirt with a cosy cocoon coat and ankle boots for an appearance on Letterman.
Rex FeaturesPleats, lace and peeptoes: this positively oozes Marnie Michaels’ polished NYC-style and, with such glossy locks, we reckon Allison is giving Kate Middleton a run for her shiny-haired money.
PA PhotosIt would seem that Jemima’s thing is length and lots of it. From that mane of golden blonde hair to her hem lines, Ms. Kirke is a sucker for statement lengths. Indeed, this damson dress and muted floral kimono is no exception and in some beautiful sartorial representation of life-imitating-art, this whole look is a Jemima-meets-Jessa wonderthing.
Getty ImagesEven refined Alison Williams occasionally opts for ‘siren’ (this time assuming a scarlet shade). Her tight, knee-length number shows off an athletic bod, complemented naturally by some killer curls and racy open-toe heels. No subtle exits in this decision for AW.
