Five things that happened at Gigi Hadid’s Maybelline launch last night
Gigi Hadid celebrated the UK launch of her new make-up collaboration with Maybelline, transforming the central London location into the ‘Gigi Hotel’. The supermodel brought a touch of LA to the typically English rainy evening, here’s five things that happened.
Obviously the most important part of any party, Gigi treated us to American diner-style food with personalised Gigi x Maybelline pizza, mini hot dogs and kitsch neon lights to match.
Well it was supposed to be the Gigi Hotel, what kind of hotel would it be without a bed? But while it was super comfortable, it was actually a photo booth and Gigi was on hand to show how it's done by a supermodel.
The collection is housed in a chic baby pink packaging and the theme of the party was no different with pink airport themed décor including pink suitcases and pink neon signs, even the drinks were very on brand.
Amber Le Bon, Ella Eyre, Ashley Roberts, Charlotte De Carle, Ashley James, Lilah Parsons and even Love Island ’s Montana Bloom were in attendance.
We were able to take a closer look at the collection.
Here’s the lowdown:
There are two parts to the range, the East Coast and the West Coast collections that allow you to change up your beauty look depending on what style you are channelling, the NY city girl or the laid back LA chiller.

In her announcement, Gigi wrote that the products "can be used and added on throughout the day for one of my favourite chic [and] badass day-to-night looks!" – and that certainly seems to be the case, both look incredible, and will cater to everyone's beauty needs. They comprise of lip kits, eyeliners, primers and brow products all in Gigi favourite shades.

Talking about the palette (above) Gigi said: "I always wanted a palette that I could throw right in my purse or travel bag and know I have everything to do a light-everyday look, quickly and easily. I didn't want to have to open my makeup bag in the car or on a plane and take all the products out and worry about dropping anything or having somewhere to set it while I held my mirror. The Jetsetter Palette includes contour powder/bronzer, blush, powder highlight, concealer, lip gloss, eye shadow, black powder liner, a mini mascara, mini blush/contour and liner/eyeshadow brushes AND a mirror!!! I love mixing it up and using the lip as cheek tint, the eyeshadow to fill my eyebrows, blush on my eyelids, concealer as a nude lip base, etc. It's the most luxurious touch-up ever!!!!!!"
