The £13 nude lipstick that sold out globally is back in stock (and you can get it in Boots!)
If you want to see your product fly off the shelves, there’s one sure-fire way to make it happen: get one of the Kardashians to wear it/use it/photograph it. Seriously - it’s a tried and tested method with immediate effect.
If you don’t believe us, just look at the effect Khloe Kardashian had on Doll Beauty’s lipstick in Golden Girl back in October.
She posted a snap to her Instagram stories donning a stylish beige lip and people went mad. Wild, in fact. After tagging the product in question, it sold out in just four hours, and after being restocked, it sold out again the following evening.
The Manchester-based brand’s website actually crashed overnight after it reported a 520% increase in traffic. Mental.
The original photo was posted by Khloe’s makeup artist Rokael Lizama, who used his own Lip Gloss Oil and Lip Liner (coming soon, watch this space) alongside the Golden Girl lipstick. He also used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Soft Brown, £23, KKW Beauty Sooo Fire Eyeshadow Palette in Kilauea, $45 and Iconic London Seamless Concealer in Natural Beige, £22 to complete the look, which he named #BerryBronzedGlam.

But why did everyone love the lipstick, in particular, so much? It’s quite an unusual shade - one of the lightest shades in Doll Beauty’s collection - and can be used to create the perfect nude lip. It’s caramel-toned and creamy, long-lasting and perfect when paired with a gloss or liner. Basically, everything we could ever want in a lipstick.
It’s for that reason we were overjoyed when news that the lipstick is finally back in stock broke. It’s now available in Boots stores nationwide, as well as being available from BeautyBay. Ideal.
