This is the Mango collaboration loved by Blake Lively that's bursting with the most beautiful summer dresses
We may get a lot of our fashion inspo from our favourite influencers on Instagram, but when it comes to 'influencing' on a larger scale there isn't much that beats the impact of an A-list celebrity wearing a new must-have item. Particularly when that brand is a high street label and that celebrity is Blake Lively.
Forever a style icon, Blake has high end designers from all over the world competing for her attention and vying to dress her for any occasion. And with major 'occasions' still on somewhat of a pause as we try and navigate our way out of this global pandemic, opportunities for brands to have their pieces worn by the actress are few and far between.
Which is why both Mango and savvy shoppers were thrilled when she was spotted recently wearing a maxi dress by the high street stalwart.
Part of the brand's exclusive new collection designed by influencer and fashion consultant Sofia Sanchez de Betak (aka Chufy), Chufy x Mango is a capsule collection of six epic summer dresses made using sustainable fabrics such as organic cotton and recycled polyseter.
Sofia has been a Mango ambassador for many years, and as well as fronting brand campaigns she also wore the high street brand to the 2019 Met Gala, the first time a Spanish brand had attended the most prestigious event in the fashion calendar.
"This collection is the result of a long and fruitful relationship with the Mango family and myself," explained Sofia.
"After years of collaborating we’ve got to understand each other so well, and enjoy the creative process so much, that working together feels natural and joyful. Still, having my work travelling the world alongside such an iconic brand is an honour I never imagined posible."
Sofia's effortless style and free spirit is reflected within the collection via fluid silhouettes and fun fabrication undoubtedly two of the aspects that attracted Blake Lively to the collaboration in the first place.
