Excuse me, but when is XO, Kitty season 3 coming?! Every day without an official release date is a bad day.
Netflix has been toying with us, which makes it feel like a season 3 drop of this K-pop-filled delight is imminent. The streamer recently shared a compilation video on Instagram featuring love confessions from across its shows. Hidden in the montage? The beloved Kitty–Min Ho rain hug, which sent Mooncovey fans absolutely feral.
Former showrunner Jessica O’Toole teased: “We left fans on a cliffhanger, but Season 3 will be worth the wait — including our first summer episode, plus tons of romance, friendship, adventure.”
Here’s everything we know so far about the release of XO, Kitty Season 3, including episode names, the returning cast and the new faces at KISS Academy.

Fans have speculated about a Valentine’s Day premiere, but there’s no official confirmation yet.

Season 3 episode names
Deadline teased that Kitty’s third semester at KISS will be central, following a ‘short detour’ and now we have four of the eight episodes expected in the new season — alphabetical order, not release order, and sadly, no word on episodes 7 and 8 yet, according to What's On Netflix.
Here are the episode names causing chaos throughout the fandom:
Before Sunrise – A nod to the classic Richard Linklater romance? Kitty may spend one long, unbroken night with Min Ho, walking, talking… and maybe finally confessing her feelings. Alternatively, if Yuri’s still lurking in Kitty’s heart, maybe it’s her and Yuri stealing one last night together before reality pulls them apart.
Euniq – Could this spotlight Eunice’s rise to stardom? The spelling twist hints at Q’s involvement. Could Eunice and Q team up musically? Or will her career arc throw her into conflict with Dae, who might be salty about losing to her?
Ride or Die – Literal amusement park shenanigans, metaphorical loyalty tests, or both? There was evidence from earlier this year of casting for a “ticket checker” at an amusement park, so the title may have a literal interpretation. Metaphorically, it could signal an episode about loyalty, testing which relationships will hold steady when Kitty’s life inevitably spins out of control.
Seoul Sisters – Sisterly reunion incoming? Margot and Peter have done cameos; could Lara Jean finally drop in? Lana Condor was filming in Thailand around that time, so some fans are speculating she combined this with a trip to South Korea. Or is this a nod to new friend dynamics with Yuri and crew?
Ships in the Night – Slow-burn romance alert. Missed connections, bittersweet feelings, and maybe even a trip to Busan’s iconic harbour. Will Kitty and Min Ho align, or will circumstances pull them apart again? It could also apply to Yuri and Juliana, who are still tied together emotionally but moving on in separate directions.
How did season 2 of XO, Kitty end?
Given that season 2 of XO, Kitty premiered on January 16, 2025, it’s been a while, so let’s refresh your memory, bestie.
Season 2 wrapped with Kitty getting her scholarship renewed, allowing her to return to KISS for her senior year. She also honoured her late mother’s wishes by reuniting her fractured family and discovering relatives she never even knew existed.
Meanwhile, it had been a wild ride for her and Min Ho. They went from enemies → friends → almost-lovers → friends → enemies → maybe-lovers again. Min Ho is leaving for his brother’s summer tour, so Kitty asks to join him, and he agrees — leaving their romantic future open as they head off together.
But not everything is sunshine at KISS. Yuri learns that Juliana has officially moved on with Praveena, despite Juliana hearting her latest Instagram story. To make matters worse, Yuri’s family assets have been frozen after a development in a class-action lawsuit involving Dae’s dad.
Stay tuned for more XO, Kitty season 3 updates!
We know who will get their love story in seasons 5 and 6!
