XO, Kitty is the hotly-anticipated spin-off series of the hugely popular To All the Boys I've Loved Before film franchise, which is nearly here two years after it was first announced.
While To All The Boys focused on Lana Condor's character Lara Jean and her romantic pursuits, this new ten-episode series will focus on her younger sister Katherine Song Covey, aka Kitty, as she navigated the ups and downs of her teenage life.
The coveted leading role, who was first featured in all of the TATB films, is being reprised by Anna Cathcart, who, at the time the project was announced, said in a delighted Instagram post: "Cat's out of the bag, or should i say kitty @netflix grab your helmets kids this is gonna be a wild ride."
And with Netflix finally releasing the first full-length trailer for the upcoming series, it's safe to say that excitement has reached fever-pitch. So here's everything you need to know about XO Kitty.
What is the plot of XO, Kitty?
The official synopsis for XO, Kitty reads: "Teen matchmaker Kitty Song Covey thinks she knows everything there is to know about love. But when she moves halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, she'll soon realise that relationships are a lot more complicated when it's your own heart on the line."
The series is set after the events of the three films of To All The Boys and follows Kitty's journey as she heads to Seoul to spend time with her long-distance boyfriend, Dae.

What are the cast and crew saying about XO, Kitty?
Jenny Han, the co-showrunner and executive producer on XO, Kitty said recently at Netflix's Tudum event: "We all fell so deeply in love with Lara Jean and her story. So it felt like the greatest gift to give to Kitty was to let her as a character kind of set off on her own two feet and not put her in the shadow of either of her sisters."
Meanwhile, Sascha Rothchild, who also serves as co-showrunner on the new series, added: "She's stepping into the fore — picking up the baton from Lara Jean." Much like the TATB movies, the studio producing the series is Awesomeness Studios."
Lead actress Anna recently shared the trailer herself to her three million followers with the caption: "Time for a little seoul searching @xokittynetflix."
